1:39these rides I try to take I have a million triggers for my motion sickness. So I feel like a pretty good reference point. Mine screens, I have the movement, I have all of that bothers me. So I feel like I can give a pretty good reference point but everyone has different triggers and so we want to know what bothers you,

2:18feeling of vertigo. >> Yeah. Today is the day. So this week, while I am at Walt Disney World, I am testing every ride at Epcot for motion sickness. And today is the day that Tony has been waiting for. What is that?

2:38>> Finally getting to ride Cosmic Rewind, which is my favorite ride. >> So there you go. Okay, so here it is. If you don't remember, I rank them from one to five. One is you'll be fine, five is you need a barf bag. Um, and we're going to do this. We have an individual lightning lane, so we don't have to wait

2:57in as long of a line. And I will give my ranking afterwards. Now, we're doing this one the first day we're here just cuz we're having an easy day with with food and wine. And so I said, let's just do it, get it over with. But we do have a second one booked for our last day here, when I'm going to

3:16test all of the other attractions, because if I do get motion sickness on this ride, I will be trying out my band to see if it helps. Um, so that's the plan. She's too excited about this. >> I've been looking forward to this more than anything else on this trip. >> Even Flower and Garden?

3:57So, I guess not quite as bad as Forbidden Journey. Not Forbidden Journey, uh Ministry of Magic cuz that was a 4.5. >> Okay. >> I rate it 4.5. But, here's the thing like I get all the triggers get me. So, spinning like driving down curves like in the mountains in a vehicle that gets me. A jerkiness adds to it and then

4:18screens. So, everything triggers my motion sickness. Um this got me. And so, it's a very smooth ride. I will say that. So, if the jerkiness is the main thing that bothers you, you should be good. But, there are screens, not a ton, but it is like going around in a circle like you're driving windy roads up in the mountains kind of.

4:38Cuz the track is in like a circle like there was tons of like just going in curves and like around. >> Yeah, but I feel like the Space Mountain where you have the just stars, that's what it reminds me of. So, like that doesn't bother you usually. >> I don't know cuz the first part makes me sick. So, I can't even tell if the other

4:55part makes me sick. >> Got you. >> Cuz the spinning lights around it make me sick. >> Cuz that's what I was thinking like when those spinning parts where it was like maybe the stars. >> a lot. And I I'm starting to wonder if the smoothness >> No, it spins like this. >> but like curves, lots of curves.

5:46So, let's cut to the day we're doing all the other stuff. We're doing Living with the

7:01there are strong scents involved as well in some areas. So, it has a lot of the things that can cause people some motion sickness. And that's why I have to give this one a four out of I'm just kidding. >> I'm like, no. >> It's a one out of five. 1.5 if maybe

7:22like if you have like some weird thing happen where you're like watching the screens cuz the screens This is the thing I was so This ride I love this ride. I do all the time. I did watch specifically for something that could cause motion sickness. So, the thing is is there's these screens in the beginning that's showing like farming

7:40stuff. And if you watch your movie this way, they're curved screens and they're curved their pictures would be other way like how the camera is moving. >> really hard to have >> to really watch it and like be probably on an completely empty stomach or something, but there's I just I just don't want to say one completely because

8:02what will happen is someone will come back and say, "No, this I got motion >> heard of somebody saying that they got motion sickness on this ride. So that's why I'm like >> Okay, if you're someone that got got motion sickness on this, I want to know. I want to know because yeah, to me it's a one, but again

8:18I bet there's someone out there that this ride has made them a little nauseous. Like not like I don't think anyone's gotten like where they're going to puke, but at least where they're like can't look at those screens. Okay. >> If she says so. 9:27The things we do for these guys. We can't have video about testing every ride in Up Cot for motion sickness if we don't test every ride in that park for motion sickness. We are in front of Mission Space, guys. Mission Space. You're going to owe us.

9:47Let's go take a look at the signs. Let's go take a look at them. There are two different experiences you can do. And green mission, which is less intense. You can pause read if you want. Here is the orange mission.

10:11There are different height requirements based on which mission you choose. None of this looks good. I'm not happy. So me and I said I would never ride this again, ever.

11:16Get on there. I follow all the rules. And while we're looking, my eyes literally started going She wants me to make the sound. And I could not control it. I could not stop them. I honestly was scared I was having a stroke. It was that terrifying. So, I will never get >> something like that. Yeah. >> Something. I don't know.

11:36>> Okay. So, this is what I will say. I will say that there is a chance you could get sick on this. I would give it a two out of five. >> On the green? >> On green. I would probably say a uh 10 out of five on orange, having not ridden it. But, the green I would say is a two out

11:57of five. >> So, it reminds me of Smugglers Run, but with a smaller screen, so it's easier to not look at the screen. >> Yeah. >> But, you do have like if you're engineering you have all these buttons to push. 12:12like you are on Smugglers Run. So, I definitely think that it is pretty doable for most people with motion sickness. So, now

12:22we're going to tell you our next ride, but we're not riding this today. We're going to be honest. We rode it last trip. And just Did you hear it? Did you hear the the sound of it? But, we we just don't feel like we need to ride it again. Um so, it is

12:47Test Track 3.0. And a lot of people it's a lot like the same track of Radiator Springs Racers, but there are some differences. So, I don't get sick on Radiator Springs Racers. I do get a bit queasy on Test Track. I

13:09would put it at a two to 2.5. That's where I'm at. And you're like >> What? It's nothing. >> No, I'm Yeah, I'm fine on it. But, like I'm seriously fine. >> a lot harder. >> Okay. That makes sense. >> Um and also like Yeah, it just brakes a lot harder, I feel like. And you know, here's the

13:26thing when I was Test Track 2.0 before the re-theme I don't remember being sick on it. >> Okay, interesting. >> But this one I I felt queasy last time we rode it. So I don't know if my motion sickness has gotten worse or if there really was something that changed it. Did they make them go faster? Did

I've never thought of that. Oh, with the different California and this one and now we're going to have Soarin Across America.

16:45So Soarin Over California, Soarin Around the World, Soarin Across America. Would there be a difference? I don't know, but this one's going to be for Soarin Around the World because Soarin Across America isn't started yet, but I will be here to ride that in just over a month when it opens first at Epcot and so I'll put a comment and I'll pin it once I

17:08have figured that out, okay? But let's go rank it. Now, we're going to bring this in a little so we don't get other people in here. I think we had the perfect seats for me to do this ranking cuz we had far side and the bottom which I sometimes think is worse >> Cuz you got all the edges.

17:26>> Because you can see all the edges where it's not as encapsulating so it makes the screen more obvious. I will I'm going to say it's a 1.5 for me personally. I know it can be a two to 2.5 for some people. And the reason it gets a 1.5 for me instead of a one is there are even

17:44though they've fixed it, there is still dysmorphia in Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower and even the Great Wall which does kind of bother me a little bit where I can be like um that is just not right but it doesn't make me sick cuz they're not super long in those things. Um and then if you get vertigo this

18:03could be a really bad one for you. I know people that have sworn off Soarin because of their vertigo. And vertigo again just like motion sickness has different triggers for different people whether it's just the height, sometimes it's other things. So just know that that might be an issue for you but I think it's worth a try

18:21um and then see cuz I don't think anyone's going to be like puking sick after this. So that's my ranking why I do these things.

18:30I already wrote it and yet here I am writing a second time for you guys. I hope you know how much I love you guys. We're going back on Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. I almost said Mission Breakout. Cosmic Rewind but this time I have remedies. So I took Dramamine.

19:51I was just sitting there going like need breathe. Need to I did still close my eyes at the like beginning part. Yeah. At the beginning. 21:46There's a lot that it has in common. And yeah. But, I have to give this one a one out of five. It's perfectly fine. It's very slow-moving. I could maybe see someone being like a 1.1. Just cuz the going backwards part, I think some people will like.

22:07>> or the stars movement. >> The stars are the So, what the stars they have, they're like hanging on strings and in straight lines what makes that grid effect that kind of weirds some people's eyes out. 25:01So, anyways, I got it. I drink it. Now we're going on a ride. Let's see if I get motion sickness. We went in to ride and the ride is temporarily down. So, we went and did other stuff and we came back. Now we have ridden it. Gran Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros is a

25:22from will please a one out of five. Like you'll be totally fine. It has screens but they're like small like they're There's not screens that absorb you. Yeah, exactly. It's like watching a TV and it's slow. It's a boat ride. I'd say compare it to I'd say to compare it to It's a small world but people will say It's a small

26:19So, yeah. Totally different kind of ride. I already know what my rating's going to be but we have to do the ride just in case. 26:40sickness-wise. So, as far as motion sickness, this is a one. Like the only thing I think anyone could even get a problem from is like the the tunnel of the crushed like they're going backwards. We're actually moving this way, but it feels like you're moving the other way. So, I know that could upset some people, but we got stuck right as you enter that

27:00tunnel, right? And then I we had the sound right in front of us. The sound coming up from the tunnel story part and the sound behind us from the sharks. And my neurodivergent head cannot handle it. I had to like really close my eyes, zone out, do some breathing. It was a lot.

27:29are heading to the last ride for this uh motion sickness ranking video. One of the ones that's probably the most anticipated and that is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Very good. Okay, go Rebecca. And the reason people are anticipating this one is this used to be a 3D effect ride and they have

27:52removed the 3D effects, no more glasses, and people are wondering if it's better or if it's worse. So, spoiler alert, I rode this last time we were here with no remedies. And it was as bad if not worse. And what was it for you, Tony? >> you said it was a smidge better when you

28:13rode it. >> It was a smidge better once you told me to look at the top of the screen. >> Okay. Yeah, I for me it was worse, but I also wonder if it's the seating cuz we were the very first car and it was like right up close and it affected me more than I've ever I've never had issues with it,

28:31but I was like >> so for some reference, 3D rides tend to make me sick a lot, not just because of the screen, but because they're rarely in focus for me because I just learned this recently um when I was looking into why people either love or hate 3D rides, and it's that

28:52that it's those glasses are made of the two averages of people's eye sights that make it create a 3D image. I It's more complicated than I can explain, apparently. And obviously. But >> Everybody goes to search it now. >> Google it.

29:12Search it. Whatever you do. So, it was never like in in focus for everyone. Now Now that that was gone, I just wouldn't wear the 3D glasses before. Now that that was gone, I felt like I could just have my eyes open and watch it. And so it was pretty bad. I think I don't know

29:50uh the Dramamine that is took it a few hours ago, you know, like probably about 3 hours ago, a little bit more. And then I have my Reliefband, and that is all I am using. I'm not taking another Dramamine. And I am using the Reliefband. So, there you go. We'll be back as soon as

Why was it awful, Tony? >> Because it kept stopping on us, like in between every scene. >> Every single scene. So, like I had time my body had time to reset and all that, and we just sit there

30:33and look and the like the walls would move, so you could move, and the other people were still in the spot you were supposed to be going. It was just bad. Um, I could tell that the motion if I had been continuous I probably still would have gotten a little nauseous and it probably would have been about a two

30:47and a half probably, two to two and a half. But I can't give a full honest ranking on it with my remedies because of how it would stop and reset. It was kind of obnoxious, honestly. >> And I can say after doing it again this is like gotten to the point now where I am not liking this ride.

31:08Because of without the 3D it's affecting me differently. Like I had to stare at the top of the screen the entire time. It's not a nauseous feeling but it's like a my eyes can't keep up. >> Yeah, yeah, cuz it's it is it's so fast moving and that's the problem. Like and I don't know if I don't know why it was
