It's one of my least favorite videos to make, but one of the most important ones I think I can make for people, and that is what am

Yeah, >> it's her least favorite, but it's my favorite because she actually rides rides I like. [laughter] >> I figured I'm here today because I am going to try out the Muppets version rock and roller coaster, which I've never ridden rock and roller coaster
0:42before. So, >> I can't believe I'm already having to do that, then I might as well make this video. But I only have one day here. I love [music] you guys so much. I'm going to try and get as much done as early as I can. There are a couple we may not get in that I either rode a month ago or
1:01that we have in Disneyland, but I'm going to try and do them all. It's just time, lightning lanes, all that stuff. So, first up, >> my least favorite, [laughter] >> Star Tours. I've not done this in years upon years, guys, because it makes me sick. But we're we're just going to

That said, um my friend has a 9:40 Star Tours time and so we're just we're going to meet
2:40her there. It's Lesie. She runs uh the Disneyland with Kids group with me and Jessica who you've also seen on here and our my other friend Julie. So, I'm just going to ride that one with her. But Tony gets too much joy out of this day. Look at her all over there smiling and being like,
3:01>> "No, I have to do this by myself or not at all." [laughter] >> Glad my misery causes you so much joy. >> You guys, [laughter] >> more fun with friends. >> Yeah. Okay, so you guys know the deal. I rank everything with [music] no remedies and I rank them on a scale of one to
3:22five. One. And I am going to put my nifty little scale here. And after every ride, I'll put the icon for its ranking. Um, but sometimes I have like a half ranking. I don't have icons for that. So, I just pick which one I thought it leaned a little more towards. But anyways, the deal is [music] that Yeah,

But the scale is one to five. One is you'll be fine. Five is you will probably need a barf bag. Um, now just I do want to say I've never given anything

[music] Um, but that was because I have I haven't even done this one yet, but I I rode this ride for the first ride, our last trip, and I immediately got my camera out and did my ranking because I didn't I I was like, "This is never happening again." And that was with a remedy. It was a

And like >> it rattled my head a little bit yesterday, I will say. >> But I can't take Dramamine until after I
4:48do all of my rankings. At least all of the rankings that >> drama mean >> I have not [laughter] I go back and forth. Sorry. People that were asking me for it yesterday in the parks call it drama mean. So I had been doing pretty good until [music] I hang out with other people that said drama mean and you know a lot of people say it

6:15ranking. That was definitely a four out of five. But we were in the back row which could have made a difference. But the problem with this is the seating. You kind of get what you get. And also you don't know what the scenes are going to be so it could rotate. So four out of five on my most scale. But a little
6:31extra tidbit for you. We wrote this my friend Lesie from Trips of Tikes and she's very like analytical in her thinking. former lawyer. >> Yes. [laughter] And so she was pointing something out like I noticed it but I wanted her to talk about it. >> Yes. So we had a version where Lando Calizian came on and immediately the
6:52whole crowd was like cheering and happy and so excited. People love the original Star Wars characters and Disney when it built Galaxy's Edge put a lot of the older sorry the newer movies in and people want the old stuff. People want the nostalgia. The adults want the shows that they saw as a kid. >> That's right. And they're the ones that
7:12can spend the money. And we know Galaxy's Edge is expensive if you want to do like the droids, the lightsabers. So, honestly, just seeing that, I don't think it will be too long before they do at Walt Disney World what they did at Disneyland, which is bring in the original characters, put them near the Millennium Falcon and all that stuff,
7:30and then keep the Rise of the Resistance area for the new characters. >> I agree. >> Yep. Here we go. >> Nervous. >> I was like, >> excited. I'm like sitting here like scrunching my thing in my hand. Nervous. >> Excited. Questioning my life choices at this moment.

8:12coaster with the Muppets. I'm going to give you two different rankings. Nope. This is the no remedies one. So, for motion sickness, I am giving it a 3.5 to four out of five. I'm leaning more towards a 3.5, but I it could be a four for some people
8:32if you don't do well like on Incred Coaster or things. It's upside down. Okay. So, that's why I'm saying it leans to a four. >> Um, okay. But the one thing it did give me was a headache. And so, I'm going to have you hand your mic really quick to Jessica >> because I want to hear if she got it,
8:48how she feels about like [music] the headache and body and stuff like that. cuz >> I totally felt it fine. Like it does it does push you around but it's totally fine. >> It hurt my head. >> So >> like it's going away but I also haven't had caffeine. >> Get ready to rock >> but it was good.

9:47know what I'm going to rank it, but I have to do it just to be sure. Also, I did just ride the Muppets, rock and roller coaster with the Muppets, so that could change how I feel about this. So, I may then I'll give you the perspective of, oh, if you've just ridden this, it may change it. But these two rides are
10:05so close together that that a lot of people try to match those two up with their um lightning lanes right next to each other. >> I did that yesterday. 11:30I get a little bit woozy. Now, if you get vertigo, this one could be a lot worse for you. If up and down stuff bothers you, this would be bad for you probably for your motion sickness. I just put that out there because everyone has different motion sickness triggers. And so, I just want to make sure that
11:49I'm not like telling you, oh, it's a 2.5 and then you're someone that going up and down makes you get motion sickness. So, there you go. That's >> my ranking. and we will see you guys later. 13:36like such a m It feels or seems like such a mild little but it gets you. >> It gets me. But I will say in the back I would probably get it like a 2.75. >> Wow. with my two Mountain Dews I drank during my and my Powerade that I drank a bunch of water. >> I was kind of sloshing around in my
13:57stomach and um I ended up getting it. I would say this was like a three almost a 3.5 just because of that though. So that's why I'm like giving all these caveats is cuz I want people to know don't drink a >> like chug a bunch of liquid and then go on this ride if you get motion sickness
14:15>> because that's going to make a difference. Man, this ride will really blow you away. Waka waka. It's cuz it's windy out. Plus, there's that whole wind scene in here. >> Are you done?
14:35>> Never. Never. All right. Next up, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. and we're not riding it because all the things I have to do throughout the day because of this trip I am on. I don't have time to do every single ride and we're prioritizing all the other ones. So, I can rank this one though cuz I've
14:57ridden it so many times. The ride part is the same at Disneyland [music] and Walt Disney World. The only difference is like the details. There's like different hidden Mickeys, that stuff, but not the ride. >> Yeah, >> ride's exactly [music] the same. And I've ridden it a lot and this one is definitely a solid three. >> Solid three for me.
15:17>> No question. She knows. >> Yep. >> Three. Exactly. [music] There's a lot of jerky movement. Um that's the big one. And then there's a scene where you are underwater that can get you with a screen and you feel like you're falling. I just close my eyes in there. But yes, it's a solid three. And that's it. That's all there is to
15:38it. [laughter] I've never tried a remedy on it. I'm not trying any remedies during this. I did think I would be trying Dramamine if um Muppets had made me really sick, but it didn't. I like that now it's Muppets and not Rock and Roller Coaster. Everyone called it Rock and Roller Coaster was Aerosmith, but now everyone's like
15:54Muppets. >> Muppets. Also, like we're both wearing Muppets. G. I don't know if I showed that. >> I forgot to show her fit because I need to >> backstage pad. >> She's kind of changed her fit from this morning. She changed her pants instead of her skirt. Yeah. But yeah, she's like, I'm with the band. She's like a
16:10roadie, like the ultimate roadie and animals her like favorite. And then she got her backstage pass. And then peep the nails >> done by her sister-in-law. [laughter] >> Yeah. So, and that's why her hair is like crazy today. The other videos I can't help you with why it's crazy, but >> called water parks and Florida heat >> and humidity.
16:30>> Yeah. >> So, anyways, that's our ranking for Mickey Eminy's Runaway Railway. A very solid three. Not budging. Not going down half, not going up half. It's a three. 16:51until you get old. [laughter] And this is one of those rides for me. I ride it all the time at Disneyland. Now, it is a little bit different like layout of the the rides here at Walt Disney World. So, I am writing it to give you a full honest review with Toy Story Midway Mania. I would never have thought even 5 10 years
17:14ago that this would be a motion sickness trigger. Okay, 10 years ago. I think 5 years ago I would have, but it is for me now. Especially if I just ridden a roller coaster like Incredic Coaster or Slinky Dog Dash. Then to come over here, it would have been a a little much. Now, I did not just eat. I went and had
17:33dinner. I didn't overeat. That's important to know. And now we're going to head on in. We're going to see how this one [music] ranks motion sickness-wise. So, let's go. You guys, forget the motion sickness ranking. I got best in vehicle. 1061,000. Also, I've never unlocked the tank at the Was that on the plate? That

18:272.5 for me. If I've just ridden something else that kind of makes me queasy though, it go jumps up to like a 3.5 to four. I will say I feel this one's smoother than Disneyland. >> Yeah. Oh, very much so. >> Way smoother than Disneyland's. Disneyland's it does get me sick even if I haven't ridden something else because
18:45it jerks you around a lot more. >> It feels more spinny. Like >> it does spin a lot more too when it's moving you around. So that's my ranking for Toy Story Midway Mania. Moving on. 19:20time, it jumps up to like four at that point. But it's like Mers at Disneyland. Um, for me it's got the open air and it's really not that fast and you're facing forward the whole time. It's and it's not actual spin >> whereas like teacups are like a full spin. So that gets me there. So >> alien swirl saucers, what did I say? Two

Like for me, if I get to a three, that means I'm actually like really starting to feel kind of queasy to the point where I'm like when I walk off, I still have a little bit of queasiness. If it's under a three, it's like, okay, as soon as I
19:57get off and like take a few steps, I'm good. So, there you go. That's a little more insight into my my ranking system that I have going on. All right, we're heading to Galaxy's Edge now because we got to do two rides over there for this video. Hold on. We got kind of a stream of people that

21:02in Walt Disney World to go walk a few steps away from Alien Swirling Saucers, which is right here, and all a sudden you're galaxy's edge. >> To me, >> space side. >> Yes. But at the same time, like >> weird. >> It's not as um it's like toy like cartoony
21:22>> to like an actual >> Exactly. And also, my thing is >> a big footprint. >> Oh. Oh, I've never noticed that before. >> The huge footprint. Um, but also it's like you don't get the the transitions that you do at Disneyland because it's really weird. Disneyland's actually one where they had a little more space in the area they put that. And so
21:45Disneyland has longer transitions into Galaxy's Edge Plus has three entrances. They only have two. Anyways, that's not what this video is about. This video is about how sick these rides are going to make me. And now we're going to lane Falcon Smugglers Run. And I'm not going to do an intro video. We're trying to
22:05get through the things. And I also I better find a bathroom cuz I drink a lot of water and specialty drinks. Non-alcoholic. You'll have to watch my Brown Derby video. Um cuz we ate there for dinner or I ate there for dinner. Tony had ice cream for dinner. I had more, but I'm not telling you. You have
22:24to look at my story. >> Okay. But [laughter] >> yeah, so dinner took longer than I expected. So, we're really trying to get all these done. >> So, I will be back after we ride Millennium Falcon Smuggler's Run, but it's the Mandalorian and Gru edition. The ship survived. My stomach did not.
22:46>> Okay, so first off, I was pilot left pilot, which means I'm doing the side. Literally what she said when I said, "What position do you have a preference?" She said, "Just not pilot." >> And then like we're trying to switch to that people in our group and they were like >> like guys, I hate to discourage people,
23:02but they were like blank stairs as we talked to them. >> Like this? >> No. >> Not even like a huh or what are you talking about? They're just like >> cuz I asked if do any of you guys want to be pilot? [laughter] And then they tell us to line up information and we're like literally
23:22they they just don't get it. And like we've ridden before they must not have. So we're like telling them but like the guys are like they're two steps Gretza too. And they're like anyways >> the one was off to the side even though we told them you got to be right behind. It was a little bit of a mess.
23:37[laughter] But I think we piloted very well. >> We actually did pilot very well. We had >> we did not crash at the end. We landed nicely. >> Had a really good landing. All right. So, this I'm going to give you my rating and then I will explain everything. It's a four for me. Could be a 4.5 at
23:54sometimes depending on your >> or is it very like if you were engineer would you have been lower? >> So, like this is a different mission than I've done before. So, it's hard to know cuz the old one you always fell no matter what, you know, like you have that big fall. So, it's a little it's hard to tell but I was pilot this time
24:11and it was a four and could probably be a 4.5. In fact, I thought it was going to be a 4.5. I had a traumatic flashback in this at the end and I'll explain in a minute. But you can't avoid the screen very much when you're pilot like that's what you have to look at when you're >> that's what you're direct how you're
24:30directing. >> Yes. And it's a digital screen. It's very obvious it's digital and there's so many things coming and going like you know and and we were talking about this like when you are driver like when you get most of the car you want to be the driver a lot of times that helps or you sit in the front so you can see that
24:45does not help in this case for me it's actually better in the regular version that I've done it was always better to be not even gunner but engineer was my favorite as far as the motion sickness because I would focus on the back of the seat and then that panel and I didn't have to like pay attention did engineer
25:02and it it's like that you just you just get to do cooler things because Grou is right there or whoever in the little screen >> on this one like the engineering used to be the most hated job and now like added new things. Yeah. And you get to pick the mission if you're on the right side. You don't get to pick it if you're on
25:17the left. But >> so anyways, >> but I don't think that would change for you is my point cuz they've made upgrades to engineer position but I don't think that would change. >> No, it wouldn't change how it fixed my motion sickness. Now, as I try to settle my stomach with a slow walk and the nice breeze over to Rise of the Resistance,
25:38I'll tell you my traumatic story. >> Oh gosh. >> Do you want to go up the ramp? >> Yes. >> Cuz I can't do stairs, guys. That's why. Not because of anything with my motion sickness. >> Hey, [laughter] >> baby. Cute baby in a little dress. white dress like she's
25:59>> and she had the most beautiful blue eyes and oh so so pretty, so precious. Okay, here's the story. It was opening day of Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland. >> I had ridden uh Smuggle. I had been engineer great. I had written like we did it multiple
26:20times this day. Okay. Um we had two reservations because you had to have reservations just to get into Galaxy's Edge. like it was this whole thing. Anyways, I rode again and I was Gunner. That one a little bit queasiness but not too bad that time. We had really good cruise. >> I know what that is. [laughter] >> Um
26:41so we go in at the end of the evening to do we're on a second reservation into land. Go in the evening like sweet I'm going to be pilot cuz I bet I won't get motion sickness on that. >> Oh [laughter] >> was totally wrong. I was pilot. I was the right-hand pilot. And also, this is a new game. People
27:00have not figured, you know, new game. This feels like a game. >> Yeah, it kind of is. Yeah, >> it's a new ride. >> We haven't figured out all the little stuff with it. I'm in with all of my Disney kids co-founders. So, there's four of us and two random strangers. So, now I am super queasy. gets to the end,
27:23>> the rides rides were landing and the ride breaks down. So, I'm queasy and we're stuck in this small space. >> Oh boy. >> So, when he was like taking a minute at the end, I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be, but I was like I just had a flashback all of a sudden cuz I didn't know that's
27:42how it was supposed to be. So, I thought we were getting stuck again. >> Oh my gosh. And I was like so sick. and where I was going to puke with the and >> like I made the best of it, you know, and I was laughing and stuff with people, but we get off the ride after they finally are able to get it where it
28:02lands and get us out. And they go, "Sorry about that. Hondao has a special mission for you. Follow me." And I am like, "Absolutely not. You five have fun. I'm out." >> Oh my gosh. >> They wanted us to go right back on. And I was like, >> "No, >> I am out."
28:24>> So, that was my little traumatic flashback I just had was to that moment because I didn't know it was going to pause like it did cuz it didn't doesn't do that on the original version. There's not that pause where like your stats go away and then he comes on and says something. So, I literally thought we
28:38were getting stuck again just now. >> But anyways, I'm giving you my ranking. Four could be a 4.5. Actually, right now I'm kind of wondering if like I think I'm going to have to wait a couple minutes to do >> I've got peppermints for you, too. So >> Oh, sweet. I'm going to have some peppermints. We're going to Let's stop

29:33all the comfort she has given me today as we do these. But going to have my peppermints and we're going to let my stomach stop for like half a minute so we can get over to Rise of Resistance cuz we only have so much time to do all of this stuff. Had my peppermints. Sipped a little bit of water, but not a
29:51lot. Now, I ride this ride a lot. So, that right there should tell you it's not too bad for me. Um, I actually really like this ride. I usually ride it once a trip when I go with um like friends or family. I I don't ride it a lot when Tony and I go just because of the fact that
30:12we are usually making content and also like I don't want to pay all the time for lightning lanes and stuff like that. So has to be a special reason for me. I do need to let you know this is the only part of this video that might have to do with the a sponsor like my hostess day is that um I didn't have to buy this
30:33one at this time. So, works out though because now we're testing where Tony is going through single rider compared to >> the lightning lane here. >> Yeah. >> And we're going to see what how it's how much time it saves her for that. So, she's already done. She's doing a whole single rider video for Walt Disney World. She did one for Disneyland in the
30:54past and now we're doing for Walt Disney World and she is going to see if it saves her um a lot of time. Now I probably could have done Single Rider but at the same time that doesn't you go to a different point. You don't do um the one part that does get me a little nauseous.
31:15And so I was like no I can't do that. you go to a completely different point to enter there. So, and that point is when they're evacuating you from the uh the planet. Thank you.
