0:00don't be a baby hey guys it's me again
0:08Douglas and my cousin Tracy she's a lot
0:12older than me she had a new baby yeah
0:15and she's so cute or at least she was so
0:20cute until she got a little bit older
0:21now she's a little bit older she's still
0:23just a little baby but but before you
0:25know she was just so quiet and she
0:27barely ever opened her eyes and and she
0:29just looks so nice and calm and peaceful
0:32but now man she is mad all the time if
0:38you pick her up she'll go and if you try
0:41to feed her as you go and if you you
0:44know try to play her there she go and
0:46yeah you get the picture she's just
0:48crying crying crying all the time she's
0:50always crying she's always upset she's
0:53always complaining about something and
0:55and she can't talk yet so we don't
0:57actually even know exactly all the time
0:59you know what she's complaining about
1:01but one thing is for certain she is
1:04complaining a lot and you know the thing
1:07with babies is they don't know any
1:08better they don't they don't have any
1:09way to cope with you know what's going
1:12on they don't have any way to
1:13communicate what they want other than
1:14just to cry and so it's it's okay with
1:17babies you know it drives us crazy
1:18sometimes but it's it's kind of okay for
1:21babies to cry like that but it is not
1:24okay for you or me to complain like a
1:27big ol baby mm-hmm
1:30no because here's the thing I I don't
1:32want to be a baby but I find myself
1:34complaining a lot like a whole lot like
1:38my mom tells me to go clean my room
1:40fine I'll go clean my room or my you
1:44know my teacher gives me an assignment
1:45uh an assignment and I just I complain
1:49all the time or I like sulk or I'll just
1:51be kind of grouchy about whatever I got
1:53to do and that's not what God wants for
1:56us the Bible says that we should do
1:58everything without grumbling or
2:00complaining and like I said I know in my
2:02life that can be really hard to do
2:04because if things don't go exactly the
2:06way I want them to go I get grouchy you
2:08know just like just like my cousin's new
2:10baby you know she gets grouchy if she
2:12doesn't have enough milk or she
2:14let's get picked up but she doesn't get
2:15picked up but whatever whatever she
2:17there's little baby you once the only
2:19way for her to get it fixed is to crying
2:22but that's not the same for us you know
2:24when things don't go our way we can do
2:26something about it we can either to help
2:28to try to fix it or we can just change
2:29our attitude or especially you know we
2:31can pray to God to help us to to to do
2:34the things that he wants us to do and to
2:36do it happily
2:37you know without grumbling or
2:39complaining because here's the thing
2:41there is nothing in the whole wide world
2:42that you can do that will be made better
2:45by complaining about it you know what I
2:48mean everything gets worse when you
2:50complain not better so I don't know why
2:52we always want to complain I I always
2:54want to complain but it doesn't do us
2:55any good does nobody any good so my
2:58challenge to you guys today is that no
3:00matter what life throws your way you
3:01know whether it's chores or assignments
3:03or just whatever that you would live
3:07your life without complaining and just
3:10see what happens I'd be willing to bet
3:11that your life will get a lot better
3:14even if you have to do all the same
3:16things you had to do before if you don't
3:17complain about it I'll bet the things
3:19get better I'm willing to bet on that
3:22because God wants us to do everything
3:24that we do without grumbling or
3:26complaining because here's the thing is
3:28even here on earth God wants us to have
3:31a good life you know God's got a plan
3:33for you and if all we do is complain
3:35we're never going to be able to live the
3:38awesome life that God has called us to

4:17easy to understand and by God's grace
4:19and the generosity of some really cool
4:21people like you I get to do that so I
