0:00He's back and Democrats aren't going to

0:02like it.

0:03>> What do you mean am I allowed to be

0:04here? Of course I'm allowed to be here.

0:05>> No, you're not. Are you Muslim?

0:06>> What happens when a lone independent

0:08journalist walks up to the gates of an

0:11Islamic city being built in the middle

0:14of Texas and gets confronted by the very

0:17ones under investigation.

0:20The answer is unfolding right now in

0:22Colin and Hunt counties. And what's

0:24emerging isn't just a land dispute. It's

0:26a pattern of intimidation, secrecy, and

0:30alleged fraud that state and federal

0:32investigators have been closing in on

0:34for over a year. And it looks like

0:37they're about to put a stop to all of

0:39this once and for all. Hey gang, it's

0:42me, Dr. Steve, your patriot professor.

0:44And today we're diving in to one of the

0:46most explosive stories brewing in the

0:49Lonear State, Epic City. It's a proposed

0:52402 acre master plan community out in

0:57Josephine, Texas, straddling Colin and

1:00Hunt counties. The project is bankrolled

1:03and organized by the East Plano Islamic

1:06Center, one of the largest mosques in

1:08North Texas through a private entity

1:10called Community Capital Partners. the

1:13pitch. Over a thousand homes, a K to2

1:17faith-based school, a community college,

1:20retail space, and of course, a mosque,

1:22all built around Islamic principles.

1:25Developers insist it's open to anyone of

1:28any faith who wants to buy in. But

1:31here's where things get interesting.

1:32Independent journalist Nick Shirley, the

1:35same guy who's made a career out of

1:37walking straight into controversial

1:38situations with nothing but a camera and

1:40some blunt questions, decided to go see

1:43Epic City for himself. He showed up, he

1:46filmed, he was peaceful, and within

1:49minutes he was surrounded. And then uh

1:52there was also a big federal

1:53investigation, I think, by the DOJ or by

1:55the FBI as far as there was a concern

1:58that Sharia law may be taking place

2:00here. And they did a full then they did

2:02a

2:03>> what?

2:04>> I'm not lying. I'm talking about the

2:05investigation that happened.

2:08>> I'm not lying.

2:09>> There was an invest in investigation.

2:10They found that no Sharia law was taking

2:12place

2:13>> with the investigation here.

2:15>> What do you mean am I allowed to be

2:16here? Of course I'm allowed to be here.

2:17>> No, you're not. Are you Muslim?

2:19>> No.

2:19>> This is property for the mosque. It's

2:21not for you.

2:24>> Hey, you're on private property. I need

2:26you on the other side.

2:27>> Okay. So, I can't be on this part. I

2:28can't be on this side of the street. Do

2:29you need to be on the other side of the

2:31rope or on the sidewalk?

2:32>> Just just cuz of private property.

2:34>> This is private property. Yes. Tell

2:35them.

2:36>> Okay. So, like they can kick me off the

2:38like property.

2:39>> Yeah. No, I understand. But I'm just

2:41wondering why.

2:42>> Public sign's right there.

2:43>> All right. I got you. All right. You

2:45guys just got kicked off of the mosque

2:46property, I guess.

2:53>> How you guys doing?

2:57Do you have the Is that the Quran?

3:00>> Nice. Are you Muslim?

3:02>> No.

3:04>> See what Islam is truly about.

3:06>> Yeah. I just got moved off and they told

3:08me I had to come on this side of the

3:09sidewalk.

3:10>> Very simple. Just on the other side of

3:11that yellow tank. Just on the other side

3:13and you're good. Okay. You can do

3:14whatever you want.

3:15>> All right. Yeah, you guys. We already

3:17got kicked off the property of the

3:19mosque. It's kind of weird. It is weird,

3:21especially given that this Islamic

3:24development is claiming to be fully

3:25welcoming and inclusive of everyone,

3:28right? Every American citizen.

3:31So why is an American citizen being told

3:34to leave by people who are clearly not

3:36from here, who are clearly foreign born?

3:39Moreover, if they're innocent, why not

3:42invite him in? Why not answer questions?

3:44Why chase him away? I mean, the last

3:47time that happened, it was certainly for

3:49good reason. It was to uh prevent the

3:52exposure of uh, shall we say, some

3:54rather nefarious activity in

3:56Minneapolis. Right now, Nick's

3:58confrontation didn't happen in a vacuum.

4:01This community has been the subject of

4:03jaw-dropping scrutiny for well over a

4:06year. Texas Governor Greg Abbott

4:08launched a full-scale investigation. 12

4:11state agencies simultaneously looked

4:14into Epic's operations and issued a

4:16cease and desist order after discovering

4:19Epic had been operating an unlicensed

4:22funeral home on its premises. In Plano,

4:25Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton filed

4:28a civil investigative demand. Senator

4:30John Cornin also got involved. He called

4:33on the DOJ to investigate. HUD launched

4:36a Fair Housing Act investigation in

4:38February because, as it turns out, you

4:40know, selling homes exclusively to

4:42members of one religion happens to be a

4:44federal civil rights violation. But in

4:47June of 2025, the Department of Justice

4:50actually closed its federal civil rights

4:52investigation in the center, saying that

4:54the Community Capital Partners, that's

4:56the company that's financing the

4:58venture, had affirmed in writing that

5:02the development would be open to

5:03everyone regardless of faith and that

5:05that satisfied their Fair Housing Act

5:08obligations. Epic City supporters

5:11celebrated this as a total vindication.

5:14And then in April 2026, a Travis County

5:17judge actually sided with the developers

5:20and ordered the Texas Workforce

5:22Commission to process Epic's fair

5:25housing paperwork. Ken Paxton's office

5:28immediately appealed and they got the

5:31ruling frozen at the 15th Court of

5:33Appeals. So, as things stand right now,

5:36Epic City is has come to a halt. It's

5:39not being built. Construction remains

5:42blocked again as of now. But Texans

5:44aren't waiting around on the courts or

5:47politicians. They're taking things into

5:49their own hands and in ways that no one

5:53ever imagined. But first gang, if you

5:56love books and you've ever seriously

5:58looked into making some really good

6:00money from home, I mean actually looked,

6:02not just wondered about it, this is for

6:04you. Because right now today there are

6:07people pulling 5 10 $15,000

6:12a month out of a $30 billion market

6:16you've walked past your entire life

6:17without even noticing. I'm talking about

6:20used books. And the only reason they can

6:23do it is a pricing gap sitting right in

6:26the middle of that market. Real

6:28documented and almost nobody's looking

6:30at it. So here's the gap. The same book,

6:33same title, same edition, same

6:34condition, you name it, is worth

6:37meaningfully different amounts depending

6:39on where it's listed. That's it. That's

6:42the whole thing. And people with no

6:44finance background and no tech

6:46background learn to spot it and act on

6:49it from a laptop at their kitchen table.

6:52Now, here's the part that got me. You

6:55never actually handle a single physical

6:58book. Not one. No inventory in the

7:01garage, no packing tape, no trips to the

7:04post office, no physical logistics

7:07whatsoever. The whole thing runs in your

7:09browser. You find the opportunity, you

7:12make a few clicks, and then somebody

7:14else handles the fulfillment completely.

7:17And this isn't a side hustle just, you

7:19know, to pad the grocery budget. People

7:21are running this full-time. A number of

7:23them walked away from jobs they never

7:25liked. So, I'm hosting a free training

7:28where my special guest is going to lay

7:30out the entire system. How the gap

7:32forms, how you find it, exactly what you

7:35do the moment you got one in front of

7:37you, start to finish. No theory, no

7:40filler. Go to bkprofit.com/turley.

7:47browser, scan the QR code on your

7:49screen, and reserve your free seat right

7:51now. Again, if you love books and you

7:53want to make some real cash from home,

7:56this is it, gang. You're going to

7:57absolutely love it. Click on that link

7:58below right now. In March, Texas

8:02Republican primary voters were handed a

8:04ballot question, Proposition 10, asking

8:07whether the state should ban Sharia law

8:10from being used in any Texas court or

8:12government proceeding. The result, a

8:16jaw-dropping

8:1794.8%

8:198% of Republican primary voters voted

8:23yes. 94.8%.

8:27In a state of 30 million people, most of

8:30whom are Republicans, from Amarillo to

8:33Corpus Christi, from El Paso to Bowmont,

8:35the verdict of the Texas electorate was

8:38delivered with clarity and final

8:40finality. This is American soil and

8:44American law and only American law

8:47applies here. period and a discussion.

8:50Full stop, as a certain autopen justice

8:53would say. What we're watching in Texas

8:56is a live test case for how far

8:58organizations can go to build parallel

9:02insular communities under the banner of

9:05religious liberty while dodging the same

9:08transparency and accountability every

9:10other developer in America has to

9:12follow. Texas bill uh Texas House Bill

9:154211

9:16passed in 2025 now explicitly bans any

9:21residential development from restricting

9:23home sales based on religion. That law

9:26exists precisely because of Epic City. I

9:29mean whatever you think about the

9:30mosque's ultimate intentions that alone

9:33tells you that lawmakers saw a real gap

9:35that needed closing.

9:38What we're seeing play out here is a

9:41radically cultural form of politics

9:43known as civilizational populism. We've

9:45talked about this a lot on this channel,

9:48and it's reshaping the entire landscape

9:50of Western democracies in ways that

9:52really neither the left nor the

9:54establishment right fully understands.

9:56Yet, this isn't your grandfather's

9:59culture war, right? This isn't an

10:01argument about tax rates or regulatory

10:04policy. This is something far deeper.

10:06It's a civilizational reckoning. People

10:09across the Western world are waking up

10:11to the fact that their way of life,

10:13their history, their faith, their

10:15families, their very identity as a

10:18people is not guaranteed.

10:21It has to be defended.

10:24Civilizational populism says borders

10:26matter, culture matters, heritage

10:29matters. And when institutions, you

10:31know, like the universities or the

10:34media, the courts, the administrative

10:36state, when they stop serving the

10:38civilization that built them, the people

10:42have not just the right but indeed the

10:44duty to reclaim them. And what's so

10:47extraordinary about this moment is that

10:49this isn't a fringe movement. I mean,

10:51you're watching it govern. You're

10:53watching it legislate. We're watching it

10:56reshape courts and shut down rogue

10:58institutions and defend sovereign

11:00borders and project military power in

11:03defense of western strategic interests.

11:05This is civilizational populism not in

11:09theory but in action. And then that

11:11brings us full circle with what Nick

11:13Shirley's doing. Nick's video matters

11:16because it's the human on the ground

11:18confirmation of everything the paperwork

11:21already suggested. You can read a 100

11:24press releases about securities

11:26violations and open meetings law, but

11:29watching a peaceful reporter get chased

11:31off a property because he's not a

11:33Muslim, are you kidding me? That's the

11:36kind of footage that cuts through the

11:38spin instantly. It's exactly the kind of

11:41grassroots independent journalism that's

11:43forcing institutions, state agencies,

11:46courts, even HUD to keep digging when

11:49the easy path would have been just to,

11:52you know, look away after the DOJ closed

11:54its file last summer. Obviously, this

11:57story isn't over. A securities fraud

11:59lawsuit is still working its way through

12:01Colin County courts. HUD's fair housing

12:04investigation is still ongoing. And now,

12:07thanks to independent journalists like

12:09Nick refusing to just take press

12:11releases at face value,

12:14the entire public is getting to see

12:16exactly how Epic City's leadership

12:18behaves when nobody's supposed to be

12:20watching. So, keep your eyes on this one

12:23because between the courtrooms in Colin

12:25County and the cameras on the ground,

12:28Epic City isn't just a Texas story

12:30anymore. It's becoming a national test

12:32case for whether transparency laws

12:35actually mean anything. when religious

12:37institutions with deep pockets and

12:39political allies try to build their own

12:41rules. And if Nick Shirley's treatment

12:43on that property tells us anything, it's

12:46that the people running this project

12:48still have a lot of explaining to do
