0:00Most people open Claude and use it like

0:02a fancy Google search. That's like

0:04buying a Ferrari and only driving it 10

0:06km an hour. I build AI products every

0:09single day through my company Martel

0:10Ventures and I heavily use Claude in all

0:13my work. So, I'm going to walk you

0:15through 16 Claude hacks that will save

0:17you hours of time, grow your business,

0:19very important, and boost your

0:20productivity in ways that will blow your

0:22freaking mind. Let's get into it. Number

0:24one, the memory import. See, if you are

0:27still stuck on Chat GPT, so sorry to

0:29hear. Now, we got to migrate you over,

0:31but you don't want to lose your

0:32contacts. It'll bring over everything,

0:34your preferences, your history, and

0:36it'll transfer it over like that. It's a

0:38simple way to import everything you've

0:39done in Chat GPT and bring it over to

0:41Claude in less than 2 minutes. We go to

0:43our settings, we go to capabilities, and

0:46then start import. Claude then gives you

0:48a prompt and then you paste it into Chat

0:50GPT, then it gives you everything it

0:52knows about you. Got you. So, you take

0:54the output and paste it back into the

0:56Claude box, you click add to memory and

0:58voila, tout fini, you're done. Hack

1:00number two, model selector. Claude has

1:03three different power levels essentially

1:05and you got to pick the right one for

1:07the right job. So, you click the model

1:09selector at the bottom right and then

1:11you see we've got Haiku. This is your

1:13cheapest and fastest model. Then you've

1:14got Sonnet, best for everyday tasks.

1:17You've got Opus, that's best for complex

1:19tasks. Or you can select this little

1:21adaptive thinking thing so it picks

1:24automatically depending on the task so

1:25you don't have to think, but then you

1:27don't have as much control. I like to

1:28set my own control. So, for example, if

1:30you're looking for patterns and metrics,

1:32Opus crushes. It thinks way harder. If

1:35you're drafting an email response,

1:36Sonnet, it's awesome. And my favorite

1:39part, it's faster and it can give you

1:40different options. If you're trying to

1:41summarize 50 meeting notes, it's just a

1:43bunch of data, Haiku, instant, done in

1:46seconds. Next, hack number three, the

1:48Gmail connector. Dan, is it secure? Your

1:52security at home is a bazillion times

1:54less security than the team at Claude. I

1:56just want you to know that. So, stop

1:58asking me if it's secure and start using

2:00the tools to make yourself some money.

2:01You should just not be touching your

2:03inbox. You can literally do all your

2:05email through Claude. But first, we got

2:07to connect it. You go to customize in

2:09the sidebar, connectors, then choose

2:11Gmail, then log into it. Super easy.

2:14Click, log in, it's added. I ask Claude

2:16to find stuff, summarize it, draft

2:19replies for me, and for what it's worth,

2:21the Gmail inbox search sucks. So, how

2:24about we get the AI to search for us. If

2:27you want a cheat code and you have an

2:28assistant, what I do is I have a Claude

2:30account that is for my assistant and I.

2:33I've connected to my inbox and they can

2:35use that to search my inbox through our

2:37shared Claude account so that she can

2:39self-serve on any questions she would

2:41normally ask me, she can find it in my

2:43inbox. Power move. Hack number four,

2:46calendar connector. Similar, but

2:48different. Let me tell you why.

2:49Essentially, Claude connects your Google

2:51calendar and it can do a lot of cool

2:53stuff. Yes, it can schedule things. It

2:55can help you with meetings. It can find

2:57your free time. But even more important,

2:59it can help you analyze your time. So,

3:01same thing. We go to the same place on

3:03the sidebar, connectors, Google

3:05calendar, log in. Now, I can go into

3:07Claude and add something like, "Add 1

3:09hour time block sometime before Friday

3:11for me to review our next YouTube

3:12outline." It then creates the time block

3:14and let me know why it picked that time.

3:16An advanced move is to give it your

3:18goals for the quarter, maybe for the

3:20year, and then say, "Analyze my

3:22calendar, now analyze my email cuz you

3:24got that, too, and see if I'm spending

3:26the right amount of time on the projects

3:28to achieve those goals." Now, it became

3:30a business coach. And these are only two

3:32connectors and there's connectors for

3:34Slack, Notion, GitHub, Google Drive, and

3:36a bunch of others. Now, before we move

3:39on, if you're an entrepreneur and you're

3:40trying to keep up on all of this AI

3:42chaos, but you're maxed out on time, I

3:44totally get it. That's why I built my AI

3:46company OS Playbook, the exact framework

3:49that I use to plug AI into every

3:51department within my business. If you

3:53want it, it's yours for free. Just DM me

3:55AI business on Instagram at Dan Martell

3:57and I'll send it right over to you. Hack

3:58number five, artifacts. So, essentially

4:01what it is is working apps right in the

4:04chat. It essentially creates like little

4:06mini apps within the chat that you can

4:09use and change things around and just

4:10kind of iterate. I get asked every day,

4:12"Hey Dan, I got this idea. I want to

4:13hire a developer. How do I find the

4:15right person?" I go, "Look in the

4:17mirror.

4:18You are that person." Try it. Just say,

4:21"Build me this thing." and watch Claude

4:23build it. So, for example, you could

4:25say, "Build me a spreadsheet with sample

4:27data." and then make the columns

4:28editable, include the sales reps who's

4:30involved, the status of the sale, the

4:32product they sold, and any other

4:33information you think that would be

4:35relevant and then hit boom, enter, and

4:37then pow, it just creates these

4:39interactive apps in chat. So, it's not

4:42just like an information back and forth.

4:44Now, we're building things. Hack number

4:46six, interactive visuals. Now, this is

4:49my favorite because I used to take the

4:51data from Claude and then go visualize

4:53it in other tools. Now, I get to stay

4:54right inside the chat. Claude builds you

4:57live, clickable visuals that you can use

4:59explain anything. It's literally done

5:02what I call accelerated learning. So,

5:04for example, you can ask it to visualize

5:06the height framework, which is how we

5:08shoot our short-form videos. And if you

5:09want and need context on that, just

5:11check Slack. So, now it's going to use

5:12my Slack as a connector and it builds me

5:14this cool whole visual that I can click

5:16on and expand to learn more about what

5:17it is and it's all done by pulling the

5:19information and visualizing it. It's as

5:21simple as telling it, "Visualize this."

5:24Hack number seven, projects. Think of it

5:26like this. It's essentially a folder

5:29that's preloaded with all the context

5:31you might have around a project. See why

5:32it's called a project? And then you can

5:34actually invite other people to

5:35collaborate with you on those projects

5:38so that your chats and their chats are

5:39all in one place and you can kind of

5:41riff off each other. If you're on a team

5:42account, highly recommend you do. So,

5:44here's how How it. We go to the sidebar,

5:46then you click projects, then new

5:48project. [music]

5:49Now, I drop contacts in there. So,

5:51everything from internal documents to

5:53PDFs to anything I've downloaded, any

5:56instructions, copy-paste other chats,

5:58you put all that in the knowledge

5:59section. When you start chatting with

6:01it, it has all that reference material

6:03to be able to give you good answers. I

6:05have every one of my coaching calls

6:07transcribed. So, if I'm looking for an

6:09example, a story, a client, I can go

6:12into the project that has already linked

6:13up to that Google Drive and tell it to

6:15search every transcript to find examples

6:18or stories around this pain or this

6:19challenge, and that feeds me ideas for

6:21me to talk about in my content. And a

6:23pro move is you can create a system

6:25prompt that you copy and paste into the

6:27instruction box, which then essentially

6:29acts like what used to be called a

6:31custom GPT, so that you can get the same

6:33result over and over every time you come

6:35into that project. Hack number eight,

6:37voice mode. Now, we get to talk to

6:39Claude, cuz guess what? I can talk three

6:41times faster than I can type. So, it's

6:43super easy. On a desktop, click that

6:45little waveform at the bottom of your

6:46prompt bar. On mobile, just click the

6:48mic button. I do this all time. Well,

6:50I'm driving, I'm having fun. It's easy.

6:52And the cool part is it transcribes the

6:53whole conversation, so if you ever want

6:55to use that in something else, it's all

6:56there to go. The best part is you can be

6:58super messy in whatever you're thinking

7:00about, and Claude is smart enough to go,

7:02"Oh, you're probably talking about

7:03this." and give you a really great

7:04answer. Hack number nine, Chrome

7:06extension. Non-negotiable for me. The

7:08Chrome extension is a go-to tool. If

7:11you're a Claude user, please install it.

7:13So, what it does is it allows you to use

7:15your browser through Claude to automate

7:18tasks. So, the first thing we got to do

7:19is go to the Chrome Web Store and find

7:22Claude for Chrome and install it. And

7:24what it is, pretty much everything you

7:26do in your browser, the Claude Chrome

7:29browser extension could do for you. So,

7:30for example, if you got like a

7:31spreadsheet and you got all these

7:33numbers and you're like, "I wonder what

7:34the pattern is and what should I pay

7:35attention to?" You can just ask it. Then

7:37Claude takes a snapshot of the site,

7:39starts scraping everything, clicks

7:41buttons, works inside your browser, and

7:43it finds the insights. It does

7:44everything that you would have to do

7:46that you might not even know how to do

7:48for you automagically. Hack number 10,

7:50Cowork. This is where it gets nerdy,

7:52like my kind of people are sticking

7:54around right to the end starting now.

7:56What it is is Claude will take over your

7:58computer and do work on your computer

8:01while you step away. On your Claude

8:03desktop, so it's a separate app you have

8:04to install on your desktop, open up and

8:07you'll see Cowork. Open Cowork, it's in

8:09the top left. And here's a tip, make

8:11sure you toggle on computer use in your

8:13settings cuz it needs that to be able to

8:15do things on your computer. Then you

8:17just describe any task you need to be

8:19done and the steps that it requires and

8:20Claude breaks it down and executes step

8:23by step. So for example, you can say,

8:25"Pull last month's sales numbers from

8:26HubSpot, drop them in a Google Sheet,

8:28build a summary chart, and post on the

8:30team Slack channel before Monday 9:00

8:31a.m." and it'll take over control of my

8:33computer to do it all. It's like

8:35Claude's hands doing the work for you.

8:37Hack number 11, Schedule Task. This is

8:40one I use every day because there's

8:42things that I do every day that I just

8:43want somebody else to do for me, and

8:45it's Claude. So it's within Cowork, just

8:48type {forward slash} schedule, and then

8:50it'll allow you to schedule whatever you

8:51just typed. Things that used to be done

8:53by my chief of staff that honestly she

8:55doesn't have to do, I'll just set it up,

8:56schedule it, and nobody has to worry

8:58about it. It does that at the same time

8:59every day as long as my computer's open.

9:02So every morning Claude can read your

9:03inbox, it can send you a summary, it can

9:05figure out what's urgent, it can tell

9:07you what's new in the world, it can

9:08essentially do everything that you're

9:09probably doing every time you sit down

9:10at your computer anyway. Hack number 12,

9:12Claude Dispatch. We can essentially talk

9:16to Claude through Dispatch. Claude's

9:18made this super simple. Just go into

9:20Cowork, then you'll see a menu item

9:22called Dispatch, click it, you'll see a

9:24QR code, pull out the camera app on your

9:27phone, scan it, and it'll actually

9:29redirect you to the App Store to install

9:31the app, and then it'll connect your app

9:33to your computer. So So you might be out

9:35at dinner and realize you forgot

9:37something and you want to send it to

9:38your team so you can actually use

9:40dispatch on your phone to say, "Hey, go

9:42grab my Martel Ventures pitch deck and

9:44send it to Roddy and ask him to give

9:45feedback and then send an email to the

9:47team with all the updates." So now you

9:49can do all the co-work automations

9:51executing on your computer cuz you

9:52turned that little setting on on the go.

9:54Hack number 13, Claude Code. It's

9:57essentially an AI software developer

9:59that can code anything in plain English.

10:02A couple months ago I shut down my whole

10:04company for 2 days and taught everybody

10:07how to be a Claude Code engineer. If you

10:09want to do 10 times 100 times more work

10:11than anybody else, you have to learn how

10:13to build apps in Claude Code. And the

10:15cool part is is Anthropic has a full

10:16setup guide that'll teach everything to

10:18you and I'll link it up below. And look,

10:20there's two types of Claude Code.

10:22There's using it in the Claude app on

10:24your computer or you can actually do it

10:26in the terminal. Now if you don't know

10:28what a terminal is, that's fine. Just

10:29ask Claude and it'll tell you how to use

10:32it. I want you to know that AI is the

10:34only technology ever created that

10:36teaches you how to use it better. One of

10:38my CEOs, Todd, who's 60, he's not but I

10:41joke with him he is, literally used

10:43Claude Code to build a CEO dashboard.

10:45I'm telling you nobody heard from Todd

10:47for 3 days. Then he emerges out of his

10:49office and he brings us in there and

10:50he's got a TV on the wall and he's

10:52showing us this app he built. And

10:54essentially it's doing his job. Somebody

10:56that is not technical, not somebody

10:59learn how to code, he just knows how to

11:01talk. So this is cool but what if you

11:03want to do like coding stuff while

11:05you're on the go? Well, that's where

11:06hack number 14 comes in, Claude

11:08Channels. Essentially, you can use

11:10iMessage, Telegram, Discord to chat with

11:13Claude. So now you can code from

11:16anywhere as long as your computer's

11:17running. Anthropic put a full guide

11:19together help you set it up so I'll link

11:21it below again. But at a high level,

11:22here's what you want to do. First, you

11:23create your bot on Telegram, iMessage or

11:25Discord, pair it with Claude Code in

11:27your terminal, and then finally set up

11:29your API keys and skills. Now API keys

11:32is just something you're going to have

11:33to learn to do. It's like creating a

11:34spreadsheet if you've never created a

11:35spreadsheet. Once you learn how to do it

11:36once, you'll learn that it's just how

11:38all these computers talk to each other.

11:40Now, you can use Claude Code from

11:41anywhere and build stuff and iterate

11:43with it as long as your computer is

11:44running. So, just tell it what you

11:46needed to build. For example, my buddy

11:48Arturo was running late and he was about

11:50to miss a flight, so then he actually

11:52messaged Claude Code to check his email

11:53cuz he connected it and to look at his

11:55calendar cuz all the details were there

11:56and for it to check into his flight for

11:59him. A lot of people are using Claude

12:00Code like their own personal AI agent,

12:02but that's why I built my own platform

12:04called Apex. Essentially, it's like a

12:06digital twin. So, I have a guy named

12:08Kai, that's my guy, and he handles

12:10everything. But, it's way easier to set

12:12up, it's way more secure, and it gives

12:14you access and privacy to your own

12:16things and it can use all the language

12:18models and all the AI. So, if you're

12:19interested, just click the link in the

12:20description and check it out for

12:22yourself. Hack number 15, Claude skills.

12:24This is where you can train Claude to do

12:27a repeatable task for you exactly the

12:29same way every time. you turn anything

12:32into a skill is once you've got

12:33something going, you're working with

12:35something, you're asking to refine it,

12:36just say, "Turn this into a skill." So,

12:38to do this, just go on the left side of

12:40your sidebar and click customize,

12:42skills, and browse, and install. Or, you

12:45can create your own. And the cool part

12:46is is you can install other people's

12:48skills. Ton of them that are created for

12:50like legal, financials, HR type skills.

12:52There's literally thousands of them

12:54shared on GitHub. So, one of the most

12:56popular skills is one called Humanizer

12:58where it targets the 20 specific AI

13:00writing patterns that we all know exist

13:02and then it rewrites whatever your AI

13:04did in a more human tone. And last,

13:07Claude design. This one's going to turn

13:09everybody into a world-class designer.

13:11I'm talking pitch decks, one-pagers,

13:13landing page mock-ups, full apps, even

13:16motion graphics. As of the filming of

13:18this video, it is the newest release

13:19from Claude. So, if you want to use it,

13:21real simple, go to claude.ai/design.

13:24Now, just describe what you want and

13:26Claude will build you a draft in

13:27minutes. And it can even match your

13:29styles, brand guides, whatever you got,

13:31you can give it as examples and it'll

13:32match that as it designs for you. So

13:34basically, I want to visualize the main

13:36points of my book, Buy Back Your Time.

13:38So maybe I was creating a workbook,

13:39which already exists, but if I didn't, I

13:41could use this to visualize the points,

13:43so it take those elements out of my book

13:45and then create visual examples so it

13:48help people learn it easier. And then

13:49bada bing, bada boom, done. Like look at

13:52it. Not visually what I would do, but it

13:54gets me there. For most people, it is a

13:57game-changer. And this is the worst it's

13:58ever going to be. You don't think in 6

14:00months it's going to be better? 12

14:01months? 2 years? I think designers need

14:03to start learning how to use this. And

14:05they recently partnered with Adobe, so

14:07the whole design world is going to get

14:09mixed up big time. So I just overloaded

14:11your mind with a bunch of hacks, but

14:13here's the cool part. You don't need to

14:15do them all. Now you just know that they

14:16exist. So all I need from you is to know

14:18which one are you going to use today?

14:20Just leave a comment below and let me

14:22know. And look, if it doesn't work for

14:23you, that's fine. Go to the next one. AI

14:25can be crazy, but I trust that you can

14:28do this. You know, people message me all

14:29the time and they're like, "Dan, I feel

14:30like I'm behind." No, you're not. I have

14:32never felt ahead, and I just accepted I

14:35never will feel ahead. And the only

14:36question I got to ask myself is, am I

14:38doing the work that's going to keep me

14:39ahead? You're watching this, so that

14:41means you're part of this. And if you

14:42just do one thing from this video, you

14:45are more ahead than 99% of people. And

14:47remember, just DM me AI business and

14:49I'll send you over my AI company OS

14:51playbook. And if you want to go deeper

14:53on what AI tools to use, I ranked the

14:55best ones to make money in this video

14:57here. So click the link and I'll see you

14:59on the other side. Hey Clyde, tell me

15:01how cool I am. All right. You're running

15:03three entities from Cologne

15:05>> Whoa, whoa, whoa, Clyde, keep it secret.

15:07I'm in a room full of people, yo. I'm

15:08surprised, Dan. That's crazy. You're

15:10welcome.
