Intro: Cardiff team meetup

0:00Morning all. Another vlog time. This one

0:02is going to be a good one. We are down

0:05in Cardiff uh meeting with our investors

0:08for an all day session, but we decided

0:10to get the whole company here together.

0:12So, we're all down here for the next 3

0:14days. We got some dinners. We're going

0:16to do some go-karting, some activities,

0:18some team bonding, some strategy

0:20sessions. It's going to be good. I'm

0:21excited for this one. I hate being

0:23remote. I wish I was in an office 5 days

0:27a week the whole time. But savvi we are

0:30not to to be that. So this is as good as

0:32we can get. There he is. Sexy CMO.

Meet the "CMO"

0:38Here he comes. Our resident in house

0:41CMO. Sit over there. CMO like we're

0:43interviewing you. Sit over there. Why

0:46don't you want to say hi?

0:49Hello Pier. Hello. Welcome to the team

0:51of hug. No, you don't get a hug. Here he

0:54is, our resident CMO,

0:57the world's quickest marketing intern to

0:59CMO position. No one's going to

1:01understand that your career career

1:03trajectory has been shocking. So, just

1:06run me through Peers's career journey at

1:08Trigger Fight for me. Peers came in as

1:09an unpaid, unqualified, frankly useless

1:12intern. Um, and has in within 3 months

1:15become the CMO of our entire company,

1:16running every aspect of our marketing

1:18strategy. Not effectively, but I would

1:20say like he he did do, you know, three D

1:23slide decks, so I was quite impressed

1:24with that. There there's there's there's

1:27rumors that he's doing a hostile

1:28takeover of the board as well. Slowly

1:30but surely. Yeah. He he is a complete

1:32beast. Yeah. The thing is your

1:35trajectory is gone the opposite

1:36direction. Yeah. Yeah, that's very true.

1:39You probably are coming off the board.

1:41It's completely downhill from here.

1:47So that's maybe down the line we go to

Strategy discussion

1:49specific blog on each so they can look

1:50more into like how they might use it for

1:52brand intelligence for like different

1:55industries or whatever it might be. Do

1:57you think we should have like a chat to

1:58AI and the AI is trained on the use

2:00case. So it could also they could also

2:02be like what else could I do?

2:05[Music]

2:14First day done. What's your thoughts? It

First day wrap-up

2:17is nice being in the office. So magical

2:19actually. Oh, here he is. I'm this way.

2:21You're that way. Well, we're going this

2:22way. You got to be in the vlogs here,

2:24man. I do like working as well. You were

2:25meant to be the man behind the vlog.

2:27Yeah, but I'm not with you all the time.

2:29That's the thing. So

2:31Like my life's not very interesting. I

2:33don't even have a garden. So, it kind of

2:34just Oh, that's pretty sad. Mine would

2:37be walking six steps from my bedroom to

2:39my kitchen table. Well, we're about to

2:41go go-karting now. So, we just spent the

2:44last six, seven hours in co-working

2:45space there. Um, just so good, man. I We

2:49didn't even do any specific sessions.

2:50Just feels so nice to chat and just be

2:53able to quickly get a conversation done

2:55and dusted. Fun fact about Cardiff.

Cardiff fun facts

2:58Doctor Who is produced here. So, a few

3:01things. Let's go over what Wales is

3:03famous for. Doctor Who, sheep, dragons,

3:06David, what's his name?

3:09Sex Bomb. Sex Bomb. Tom Jones. Not

3:13David. David. No, I got David Bomb. Tom

3:15Jones. And

3:18uh Welsh Cakes. I mean, I feel like I'm

3:21missing something that Wales is famous

3:24for. I mean, they love their rugby. This

3:26is like coming home for me. I've spent

3:27this is the longest place that I've ever

3:30sp I've lived in multiple different

3:32countries, multiple different [ __ ]

3:35schools when I was younger. Like 20

3:36different schools. This is the longest

3:38place that I've actually lived in one

3:40time.

3:43Now I don't live here anymore.

3:45I've moved again.

3:48[Music]

Go-karting arrival

3:58There we are. We're here.

4:01Hugo, welcome. Talk talk to me through

4:04this car.

4:07What music are you listening to here?

4:08Some gangster music. The uh the You

4:11can't Can you see it? The bump was big.

4:15This is the El Grand. I made a little

4:16pit stop my cheese. I did all mix. I We

4:19saw you stopped off at the uh at the

4:22sweet shop. We were like, "Is that

4:23Hugo's L Grand?" Uh and it speaks to you

4:26in Japanese, I hear.

4:28Have a listen.

4:39That's very good. Ready to steal some

4:41MQLs from sales team.

4:44[Applause]

4:45CS: Ready to burgle customers.

4:49You've got long hair. You must tie it

4:52into a low ponytail and ensure it is

4:54tucked securely inside your race suit.

4:57If you have your hair

5:00Well, they can't hear us, but we're

5:01about to go.

5:12[Music]

5:14We need to build that.

Race results discussion

5:17Well, well, well. The intern

5:22Max,

5:24then this person, then Hugo.

5:28There he is. It's pretty embarrassing

5:30for you, B. That's very embarrassing.

5:32Can I just say lap time does not mean

5:34pole pos like that you were necessarily

5:36in pole position. It doesn't mean I was

5:37No, but what I will say is you only

5:40completed 12 laps. Hugo only completed

5:4310. I did 13. Yeah. So that's what I

5:46mean. I did two more laps than Hugo in

5:48the same amount of time. What's this

5:49mean? But you had you had more.

5:52Oh, that's the time off. So because you

5:54had more time to do it quicker. So look.

5:56So he got faster lap time, but Max had

5:57two more laps. So Max was way faster.

6:00I was Yeah, I was I was one behind Max

6:03and then Hugo was two behind me. So,

6:09[Music]

6:18are you being cheeky?

6:21Where's daddy? Let me see daddy.

6:25Okay, but can we talk to daddy together?

6:29Okay.

6:32Spa sauna sesh all done. Now we're

Spa/sauna session

6:36heading out for some food. Can I just

6:38say a steam room best place to have a

6:41onetoone. We just had we had a group

6:43chat there. That's probably the most

6:45productive chat that we've had. It just

6:47was flowing. Really enjoyed it. So let's

6:50crack on.

Dinner time

6:56Dinner time.

6:57Sorry everyone. I should explain. For

7:00some weird reason, I call Hugo my

7:03cheese. I just realized I did that. I

7:04called Pier CMO and I call Hugo my

7:07cheese. Very bizarre. I didn't even know

7:09where it started, but it started. We

7:13know the CMO became if rose through the

7:16ranks. Putting you right on the spot

7:17right now. Yes. Do you think we should

Series A funding discussion

7:19raise a series A or not?

7:24Let's see how the pivot goes. Huh? Let's

7:26see how the pivot goes. Here we go.

7:27Let's ask another question. Decision we

7:28made for us. Do I'm limping behind here.

7:31Do you think that we should raise a

7:32series A or not? Go straight to series

7:34A. Mhm.

7:37Do you think we should raise one?

7:41I think it depends how quick it just

7:43depends how quickly we want to move.

7:44Right. There we go. That's the question.

7:47Like how I think it's all in the VC. If

7:49we can find a VC that gives us

7:50distribution, then I think we're game

7:52on.

7:54How quickly do we want to move? But

7:56also, how much strain is it going to be

7:58on each of us like taking it that far?

8:00If that makes sense. I agree. Anyway,

8:02everyone, welcome to lovely Cardiff.

8:04Isn't this pretty? Hello. Hello, mate.

8:06Three.

8:09[Music]

Nando's dinner

8:13All right. Went Nando. Uh, so that's

8:16chicken. I I realize I have to explain

8:18cuz I think 90% of my following is

8:21American watchers is American. Know what

8:23Nando? I think people know what Nando

8:24is.

8:25the US. Let us know. Let us know

8:28if you're from the US. Do you know what

8:30Nando is? Tell me the most excited thing

8:36about the pivot that we're doing.

8:40The most exciting thing. The most What

8:42is the the single most? Very large

8:44deals. Huh? Very large deal.

8:47Sorry, my ass is very dirty. You are.

8:50There we go. Do you know what I'm

8:52excited for? I'm excited to start seeing

8:54people build very elaborate workflows

8:57and closing deals with it because Max

9:00has been very powerful with his N

9:02content and it would be cool to see

9:04people doing a similar style of things.

9:06Social work, huh? Social workers. Social

9:09workers. The thing is he is not going to

9:11be able to post about NA10 anymore. It's

9:12going to be very contradictory sort of

9:14thing, isn't it? He's going to be

9:15effectively pushing maybe like a mini

9:17competitor.

9:19No, I think so. You need to stop being a

9:21fanboy. the tools are different, but um

9:24if you're wanting to use social media,

9:27you're going to use us because we're

9:29doing a lot of cool stuff with agents.

9:31That's what I'm most excited about, like

9:33real embedded like real time embedding

9:36storage uh with the agents, rag

9:38retrieval on demand without needing to

9:40do this thing, not be technical. So

9:42someone like him can use it. Not

9:45technical but highly skilled predicting

9:49road map predicting competitors road map

9:52consumer intelligence. Bangal

Pivot excitement talk

9:57okay here we go everyone. This is Nando.

10:01If you're a vegan I do apologize.

10:05Salad dressing. That is an obscene

10:08amount of dressing. Honestly it's the

10:09most delicious thing you ever taste in

10:10your life. There we go. And we also have

10:12a plate of wing roulette.

10:18Stunning.

10:22[Music]

Thursday morning workout

10:34Morning all. This is the uh Thursday day

10:38of the basically all day VC meeting and

10:43uh what's the time? 7:00 a.m. Going for

10:45a little workout with the team.

10:49Little gym session, swim, sauna before

10:52the day. Let's get to it.

10:56Much last night.

10:58The worst snorer. And I got it all on

11:00record. Did you? cuz I had I have a

11:03sleeper and it's literally the AI is

11:05like looks like you did looks like you

11:08had a [ __ ] at night. Yeah, I had a good

11:11You know why that is? I had a really

11:12good night cuz you're

11:16Oh my god. It's like 2:30 2:45 3:30.

11:20I've just spent the whole morning

11:21singing pit bull songs to him as well. I

11:24woke him up right

11:27should

11:29be quite aggressive though. doing like.5

11:34to maintain

11:37very powerful man.

11:40We're actually discussing

11:42we really want to get an office but the

Office location discussion

11:45challenge is is that we all live in very

11:50all over all over the place. So it's

11:52like where do you put an office? There's

11:54no rhyme or reason. You could do London

11:56but then it gets very expensive. Um, but

12:00we really want office cultures and we

12:02love meeting up. So, well, there's a

12:04question for the viewers is where do you

12:06think the best city to open an office in

12:08the UK, if the UK at all? Yeah. Where do

12:11you think that we should open an office?

12:13In the UK, if the UK at all,

12:16there's also a lot of talks about us

12:18just coming over to the States, coming

12:20back home to Florida, which is where I

12:22used to obviously be, and uh getting out

12:26of this miserable island.

12:31[Music]

Investor meeting recap

12:33Successful day though. Uh good meeting

12:35with our investors River Capital going

12:38through the new road map uh everything

12:41like that which is exciting. What did we

12:44talk about in the meeting? We discussed

12:48our various pivots and iterations of the

12:51product so they could timeline it

12:53properly and fully understand where we

12:55would come from and where we are going.

12:57We then discussed or demoed the new tool

13:02and what that was going to be all about

13:03and the capabilities of that tool. And

13:06then we also discussed

13:08potential customers

13:11where we want to lean into in terms of

13:12ICP um and the KPI the the end goal for

13:17us. We talked about that. Yep. That was

13:19really nice. But like just the last

13:21couple of days being working with with

13:24all of us, like it's just God, you get

13:26things done faster. Just being able to

13:28take your headphone out and be like blah

13:30blah blah blah like and then you can

13:32just answer it quickly. Like it's so

13:34much better. Like so much better. We're

13:38now going for dinner. So we're heading

13:40to a steak place. Steak place. Um it's

13:42been a meat themed

13:45food session this right still got some

13:47Nando in the fridge.

13:51So have you I don't know CMO his got

13:53some Nandos. He wants to chow down in

13:55the sauna. Are you going to take it to

13:57the sauna CMO? Are we I think sauna one

14:00to We should do a sauna podcast. A sauna

14:03one to one. That'd be quite a good I

14:05felt like our oneto ones that we've had

14:07in the sauna.

14:09Or technically it's a 3:1 but that

14:11sounds a bit weird. Um threesome we had

14:14in the sauna sounds a bit dodgy.

14:17uh has been very good. They've been one

14:20of our more productive. They're good

14:22chats in there. The steam obviously does

14:24something to the brain. One of my like

14:27things that I'm really ruminating on a

14:29lot is finding the right is is is

14:32finding the right type of people to have

14:36help us. So building out the advisory

14:38team, building out the board that can

14:40come into the business and accelerate

14:42our business far beyond what we could do

14:44without them.

14:48[Music]

14:50So, we just had a lovely steak myself. I

Steak dinner reflection

14:54had the filt. You had the filt. Hello.

14:57CMO. Pier Pier had the

15:03CMO. What did I had? I had the ribeye.

15:08Ribey. But one of the things that we

15:10were talking about um which I didn't do

15:12much filming in there because sometimes

15:13you got enjoy the moment was the journey

15:15that we've been on already with trigger

15:18fire. So many memories already and we

15:19were kind of thinking like Jesus 5 years

15:22down the line when we're hopefully a lot

15:24bigger and and whatnot. Like it's just

15:26crazy to think how awesome it is to run

15:28a business basically. So if you haven't

15:30done it, we will think it's probably

15:32give it a go. It's fun. It's fun. It's

15:34stressful but can confirm it's good fun.

15:37You know, here we are all in a hotel

15:41alive still in a hotel. In a hotel still

15:43chatting and you can see like they got

15:45the laptop set up. We're all The work

15:48never stops. But do you know what? It's

15:49not work when you enjoy it, is it, Hugo?

15:51I fully agree with you, Max.

15:55So, that is the end of uh the trip.

Hotel work session & wrap-up

15:59Yeah. Um well, we've got to we've got

16:01back home tomorrow. Back home tomorrow.

16:02So, we'll do a little bit of footage and

16:04bit of filming tomorrow, but that's

16:06pretty much everything covered there for

16:08for for this week's vlog. Um, the good

16:10news is you'll be with me next week as

16:13always, but the week after that, we're

16:15going to be bounce back together again.

16:17We're going to be in London filming some

16:19podcast stuff and uh lots of I have a

16:22dinner to go to. I wonder if I can

16:24sneakily get some footage there as well.

16:26Oh, I think you can go. Yeah. Can't say

16:27much more on really, I don't think, at

16:29the moment. So yeah, to be confirmed at

16:32a later date. Chowo chiao.
