0:11so today I'm going to talk about the
0:15weather this is an important topic
0:17because everybody talks about the
0:20weather if you are learning English you
0:23need to know how to talk about the
0:26weather so let's start with sunny
0:28weather sunny weather is my favorite
0:31type of weather when it's sunny outside
0:34I'm happy for me hot weather is better
0:38than cold weather some people don't like
0:42the heat but I don't mind the heat it
0:45can be uncomfortable but for me that's
0:48okay
0:49some places are too hot though for
0:52example the city of Las Vegas is really
0:55hot in the summer I like hot weather but
0:59not that hot in really hot cities you
1:03need to stay inside during the afternoon
1:06in the u.s. most buildings in hot cities
1:10have air-conditioning ok now let's talk
1:14about cloudy days I hate cloudy days
1:18when the Sun is not shining I feel a
1:21little sad because I love sunny days but
1:25cloudy days are normal every city has
1:28cloudy days some cities are always
1:32cloudy like London I can't live in a
1:35cloudy city
1:36I need sunshine do you like sunny or
1:39cloudy days more okay now let's talk
1:43about rainy days for me rainy days are
1:47the worst I love being outside so this
1:51is why I don't like the rain when it
1:54rains I can't do anything outside I have
1:58to stay indoors all day some people
2:01really like the rain my wife likes the
2:04rain but only when she's inside she says
2:08that the sound of the rain is calming I
2:11don't agree
2:12I don't like the sound of the rain it
2:15reminds me that I can't go outside of
2:18course you can go outside when it's
2:21raining but you need to take an umbrella
2:24if you don't have an umbrella you get
2:27wet sometimes it starts raining when I'm
2:30not home and I don't have an umbrella
2:33with me this is the worst I don't like
2:37getting wet also when it rains it can be
2:41dangerous to drive many people have car
2:45accidents when it rains when the streets
2:48are wet you need to drive slower if you
2:52don't you can have an accident
2:55on rainy days there are a lot of car
2:59accidents I don't like driving in the
3:02rain all right now let's talk about
3:04windy days some cities have a lot of
3:08wind and this can be good or bad if you
3:12live in a hot city the wind can be good
3:15because it cools the city down but if
3:19you live in a cold city the wind can be
3:22bad because it makes it even colder if
3:25the wind is really strong it can cause
3:28problems sometimes trees fall down
3:32because of the strong wind usually I
3:36prefer days that aren't windy okay
3:40lastly let's talk about the snow it
3:43doesn't snow in my city so I don't see
3:47the snow often some years my family goes
3:51to the mountains in the winter to ski
3:53and snowboard I like the snow but I
3:57don't want to live in a snowy city it's
4:00too cold and life is more difficult in
4:03the snow I have some students that live
4:06in really cold cities during the winter
4:09the temperature can be minus 20 or minus
4:1330 degrees Celsius for me that's crazy
4:17I don't like the cold another bad type
4:21of weather is stormy weather in the u.s.
4:24we have some bad
4:26storms like hurricanes and tornadoes
4:29I've never seen a storm like this before
4:32but I've seen many thunderstorms
4:35these storms are not that bad but I
4:38don't like lightning lightning can be
4:41scary okay that's all for today leave a
