0:00Welcome back to the boot camp, troop

0:01camp. Welcome back. We are steamrolling

0:04through this [ __ ] We have a lot of good

0:05information for you tonight. Really,

0:07really strong stuff. This is going to be

0:08really, really important concept. The

0:10way I'm kind of piecing it right now is

0:11I'm going through and I'm like taking

0:13all the pointer rules, which I've taught

0:14before previously on this channel, and

0:16I'm making individual episodes on them.

0:17Once I get through all the pointer rules

0:19in each lesson, then I'm going to make a

0:20recap of all of the rules step-by-step.

0:24But, we're going to do a deep dive on

0:25one of the rules today, which is not

0:27really anything

0:29new, but none of you probably know how

0:32to use it or how it works or any of that

0:34good stuff. So, I've already gone ahead

0:35and outlined a couple examples, and then

0:37we're going to go ahead and find some

0:38examples in real time. I don't want it

0:40to be cherry-picked. I want to explain

0:41the concept using something I've seen

0:43and then go back in here and find more.

0:45So,

0:46this is one of the pointer rules that we

0:48have. If you hear that noise in the

0:49background, it's Nina eating her food. I

0:51tried to distract her before I made the

0:53video. I doubt it's going to work. She's

0:54probably going to go nuts. It's like she

0:56knows when OBS turns on.

0:58Um that being said, the rule of pointers

1:02we're talking about today is the idea

1:03that you cannot We talked about this in

1:04episode number five. I don't know,

1:06whatever what a pointer video was.

1:09Uh we talked about one of the main rules

1:10being that you cannot have an implied

1:12move. This is also going with the

1:13untapped um FVG video. You cannot have

1:16an implied move

1:17without a pointer without an FVG or an

1:19untapped FVG. If you remember from the

1:21untapped uh FVG video, you understood

1:23that a bias range does not inverse. You

1:26don't change the way you want to look at

1:28the market until you get a pointer

1:30reacting to an untapped unfilled FVG um

1:33or you created one or whatever the case

1:35is. You're not looking for any type of

1:37new direction the market unless you have

1:39one of those happen. And you will not

1:40have a reversal if you don't have an

1:41untapped FVG involved somewhere in the

1:43picture between NQ and yes, whether it's

1:46a a newly created uh FVG or you're

1:48reacting to an FVG. Whatever the case

1:51may be, it it holds.

1:52Um what the [ __ ] is she doing, bro? Oh,

1:54I know she's about to cause some havoc.

1:56Oh.

1:57Anyways,

1:58um this particular rule is

2:01going to be really useful in

2:02understanding when we can refill new

2:04contracts after we do what's called the

2:06additive trim. I thought we were doing

2:08the additive trim today. We're not.

2:09We're doing it in the next episode. This

2:11technique

2:12is we're going to call it pointer range

2:14of control or PROC, whatever you want to

2:15call it. It's also in the indicator. You

2:17go in here, click this little guy in

2:18here. It's called the ECR, pointer range

2:20control, efficient candle range,

2:22whatever you want to call it. You can

2:23turn it on if you want to. Basically,

2:26it's a way to feather out and feather

2:28back in positions using a previous

2:30pointer. Now, the rule is this. We know

2:33that you cannot have an implied move

2:34without an untapped FVG without a

2:36pointer, right? And so, when you have a

2:39recently created bias like set, which is

2:42a pointer untapped FVG, when that

2:44happens, you can outline a pointer range

2:46control. This pointer range of control

2:48is valid until you create a new pointer,

2:50a new untapped FVG against you. You can

2:53continue to use this range as a way to

2:55refill positions. So, let's say

2:58again, if you don't know what an

2:58additive trim is, there's a video on my

2:59YouTube channel somewhere in there about

3:01it, but specifically, you can just wait

3:03for the next episode. Um but I want you

3:04to imagine that we're able to get out

3:06contracts somewhere in here, right?

3:07That's what I want you to imagine. We're

3:08able to capitalize on this move using

3:10the additive trim principle. You'll

3:11learn about that in the next video.

3:13Um well, we clearly see the bias the

3:15continues to the downside, right? And

3:17there might have been a pointer or

3:18whatever the case, but there wasn't an

3:19untapped FVG in this example. Oh, what

3:21is she doing, bro? There wasn't an

3:22untapped FVG in this example. We didn't

3:24come from any untapped FVG. So, even if

3:26there was a pointer, if anything, it's

3:27just a small retrace back on the inside.

3:30So, it's a way to get trim those

3:31contracts out, right? But, we never made

3:34a We never had an untapped FVG. We never

3:35had a pointer reacting to an untapped

3:37FVG. So, the bias range, the direction

3:39that we're looking to take in the market

3:40does not change. And you'll notice that

3:42price uses the same range of the pointer

3:44that formed off of a previous untapped

3:46FVG to justify and hold trades to the

3:49downside. And what we can do is we can

3:51if we come back into that pointer range,

3:53we can refill and re-add some contracts

3:55in case we want to get more

3:57more money on the line. It's a way to

3:58enter in positions using limit orders

4:00without ever having to actually wait on

4:02a pointer. This is how you see me do it

4:03all the time. So, you can do this as

4:05long as you do not have a new bias

4:07setting range. The trick is is knowing

4:09how to read the market with regular

4:11pointers and regular FVGs. We're going

4:12to get to this when we backtest to know

4:14when to not feather in those new

4:15positions because sometimes, right?

4:17Imagine you come in and we retrace and

4:19then we make, you know, we we come in

4:21deeply into this big pointer. If the

4:22pointer range is [ __ ] this big,

4:24right? And then we come in, come in,

4:25come in, come in and then make an

4:26untapped, then make a pointer. Well,

4:28then you lose money, right? On the

4:29original entry that you had in those

4:30contracts, right? You Whoops. You lose

4:32money because our entries were down

4:34here. And if you refill super early on

4:36the pointer range, well then if price

4:38moves up a little bit more, then creates

4:39new untapped FVG and then reacts to that

4:41with a pointer, well then you do lose a

4:43little bit more money. So, the trick is

4:44to use a little bit of context

4:45management skills to understand when and

4:47not when uh how to not do this and when

4:49to do it. So, I've outlined a couple of

4:51examples to you know, kind of explain

4:53this, but let's look at this um

4:55let's look at this move, right? So, we

4:56come in, we have our pointer, we have

4:57our volume, we have our additive trim.

4:59Then what we see, no [ __ ] untapped

5:01FVG, no nothing. It's just a regular

5:03FVG. No untapped, no nothing. We come

5:05in, we use the same range to displace no

5:07pointers, and we weren't given another

5:09pointer. This is one of those examples.

5:11I don't know if you guys have ever

5:12noticed when sometimes in the market,

5:14you don't get another pointer to enter

5:16on. So, like you'll see, you know, some

5:17crazy move. This is how a lot of you

5:18guys are complaining like, "Oh, there

5:20was no move. Like how was I supposed to

5:21get in?" It's because, you know, you

5:23have you're thinking in terms of market

5:25opens and closes, 9:30 market open for

5:27New York. You're only trading New York,

5:29but what if you know, there was a London

5:31pointer, right?

5:32And it's still valid and we we displace

5:34higher and then 9:30 hits, we manipulate

5:36back into the 9:30 window without ever

5:38creating a new pointer and a new pointer

5:40range of control, and then we refill off

5:41that pointer and then we go higher and

5:43there was never a new pointer. It

5:44doesn't have to give you a new pointer

5:45because it already did that back here,

5:46right? Why would it need to do it again?

5:48So, that's what kind of what I'm trying

5:49to get at here is um sometimes it is a

5:52way to get in a bias without ever having

5:54gotten on the original pointer. Um and

5:56this all goes back to our original

5:57rules. There's a lot of ways to take

5:59trades without ever actually entering

6:01the pointer. A lot of ways we're going

6:02to be doing this. So, this is one

6:04example of a Oh, did I delete all of my

6:05pointer range controls?

6:07Oh, don't tell me. Okay. Okay. So,

6:11I had three examples outlined here so we

6:12can kind of go through this. It was just

6:14the ones I could find as quickly as I

6:15could. And then we can see price

6:17delivers

6:18very, very inefficiently after this,

6:20right? When does this end? When you

6:22react to a new untapped FVG, we create

6:24new untapped FVG. This range control is

6:26no longer valid upon the exit of the

6:28bias, right? So, when that bias fails,

6:30you're no longer looking to take that

6:31type of trade. So, whenever we have an

6:32untapped FVG, Nina, holy [ __ ] She's

6:35biting my shoe. Oh my god. Whenever you

6:37have an untapped FVG and new pointer, we

6:39no longer use this as a range of

6:40control. So, obviously,

6:42beyond now, it's no longer going to be

6:43useful. We'll be feathered out of this

6:45position almost entirely at this point.

6:47Um and you'll notice when we come back

6:48to revisit it, we don't respect it the

6:49way we did before. So, we don't We can

6:51clearly see that the features in the

6:53market are supporting the rules. So,

6:55this is no longer a range of control

6:57that we're looking to take trades in.

6:58Just ignore this mess here. I don't want

7:00to delete my other ranges I outlined.

7:02I'll let this kind of play. We have a

7:03couple of other ranges I've drawn out

7:06here

7:07somewhere in price. Yeah, okay.

7:10It's a really, really cool way to

7:12participate in the market without

7:13without being there for those particular

7:16um

7:17ranges. It's pretty cool. It helps

7:19explain a lot of moves that you might

7:20not have seen before, and it goes back

7:21to our original rules, right? Knowing

7:23that we can't have an implied move

7:24without it. Um so, it's a really cool

7:26technique. We'll wait for us to come

7:27back in this range. I want to prove it

7:28to you. I urge you guys everything I

7:30say. It's not like some ICT like

7:31vagueness. I'm very specific about what

7:33I'm saying. Go test it yourself. Go find

7:35it yourself, okay? It's not going to be

7:37discretionary in this case.

7:40>> [snorts]

7:40>> Um there's a lot of rules to the MAC

7:42model, but once you know them, it's

7:43like, dude, it's it is the greatest

7:45strategy of all time. Boom. Okay, here

7:47we go. So, let's take a look here.

7:49What do we see happen? Let's take a note

7:51of where these untaps are and wait for

7:53our pointer. Okay, so we have a pointer

7:55right here. Notice this pointer,

7:575-minute swept pointer reacting to these

7:59These will go in in this next candle. We

8:01are We broke out of our FF Oops. We

8:04broke out Oh my god, bro. Holy [ __ ]

8:08You're cooking me here.

8:09There we go. We broke out of our FFGs.

8:13Oh my god.

8:14We broke out of our FFGs, and then we

8:16come back in and tap the previous

8:18untaps, right? So, these were untapped

8:20FFGs on the break. Just because you

8:22break doesn't mean you tap them. Then we

8:23come in and we tap them, and then we

8:25form a pointer after this. This is a

8:275-minute swept pointer from the last

8:29video, a pointer, and there might be one

8:31on the lower timeframe as well. You want

8:32to use the first one, right? The first

8:34pointer to the first untap is going to

8:36be the the best way to look at this. It

8:37also gives you a really tight range. So,

8:38there's like a 3-minute in here or like

8:40a lower timeframe. You can use that as

8:41well. You want to use the the the first

8:43pointer that happens off of an untap.

8:45Nina, no. Uh-uh.

8:47Uh-uh.

8:48Uh-uh.

8:50No.

8:51Bro.

8:52Nina.

8:54Bro, hold on. Come here.

8:57No.

8:59Holy [ __ ] bro.

9:01You You're cooking me. Go to bed. Bed.

9:04Oh my god. All right.

9:06I'm going to try to hold you for this

9:07video, but if you

9:09if you act up,

9:10if you're on [ __ ]

9:12if you bite me and you're on [ __ ]

9:14then you have to go back to

9:20to your bed, you [ __ ]

9:21Okay. 5-minute swept pointer.

9:24Um we can use this this this this

9:265-minute swept pointer

9:27as a way to refill contracts assuming

9:30that we break that that high. She's

9:32taking a [ __ ]

9:33>> [sighs]

9:34>> I'll be right back.

9:36Okay, sorry about that. Had to walk

9:38Nina. Thanks, Nina. You're the greatest

9:39dog ever.

9:42Okay.

9:44This pointer, this range of control

9:45we're looking at, right? This area to

9:46refill orders, it's a it's a regular

9:48entry, right? It's a regular entry

9:49model. But, what we can do is once we

9:52validate as a pointer using the swept

9:54pointer rule that you learned in the

9:55last episode, and we break that high, we

9:59clearly can see we're never going to get

10:01a invalidation of our bias until we come

10:04up into these untaps at up here, right?

10:07There may be some feathering down of the

10:08position as we fill orders inside of

10:10these FFEGs here, but we're never really

10:12looking for the opposite style of trade

10:14until we have like a a full reversion.

10:16So, like this is where we're really

10:17targeting

10:19um for our full TP. That's not

10:21necessarily the case. We're looking for

10:22more than that, of course, but this

10:245-minute swept pointer once it breaks

10:25that high, you can do a swept pointer

10:26test. You can see we break this high.

10:28So, our we probably take a half of our

10:31contract size here, the rest of our

10:32contracts on the break on whatever time

10:33frame uh I did the break on like that

10:35like whatever that best looked like.

10:37Let's just say we even entered there an

10:39extra set of contracts. Well, then

10:42basically this is a valid range of

10:43control until we get an untapped and a

10:46pointer, and we can continue to use it

10:47to justify and refill contracts. So, if

10:49like we're doing trims for whatever

10:51reason, then this this breathe back in,

10:53right? You see how we came back into

10:55this pointer range, we can fill more

10:57contracts and get a little bit more in

10:58on this and have more targets sitting

11:00here, right? You see how we're still

11:01justifying, and boom, right up into

11:03those untapped FFEGs. Um still no

11:06pointer against that. We're never really

11:07out of our bias till we have that

11:09pointer against us on whatever time

11:10frame that may be.

11:12We can see 4-minute pointer, and if it

11:14breaks that 1-minute low, that's a

11:154-minute swept pointer

11:17um

11:17if it breaks that low.

11:19There is no the new one anyways.

11:21Um so, it doesn't even matter. Okay? So,

11:23this range is probably no longer valid

11:26uh Nina. Oh my god. This range is

11:28probably no longer valid um just because

11:30we've consolidated probably made a bunch

11:31of different smaller ones in here, new

11:33ranges of control. When price is uh

11:36consolidating, you'll have two valid

11:38pointer ranges of control forming at

11:39like very quickly. So, the basically

11:41every time you see untap pointer happen

11:43happen happen happen, another sign of a

11:45consolidation. Our next episode we're

11:47going to be talking about uh

11:48consolidations more uh clearly. We're

11:50going to talk about all the rules behind

11:52them, how to identify them, how to not

11:53trade them, all that good stuff um

11:55beforehand. So, I think I had one more

11:57example and then we'll go ahead and look

11:58for our own in real time in case you

11:59think I'm cherry-picking. But again, I

12:01urge you to go and test all these rules

12:02yourself. They're fully valid. Um they

12:05will work without me. Just go see it

12:08happen.

12:09Don't uh

12:10don't take my word for it.

12:12Okay.

12:13I have another one coming up here. There

12:14was probably more in here, but I was

12:16just looking for New York ones. You can

12:17trade Asia, you can trade London, of

12:19course, but it's just going to be

12:20easiest to look for the volume in uh the

12:22New York.

12:23Okay, here we go.

12:25All right. So, notice they happen around

12:27the untaps, so makes sense.

12:29>> [clears throat]

12:30>> Come on.

12:33There we go. Okay.

12:36Boom. Okay, so here is our pointer um

12:42off of our untapped FFEG. There's your

12:44pointer off the untapped FFEG. This is

12:45the valid range to trade away from. So,

12:48as long as we don't create a pointer

12:51FFEG combo, we can continue to use it to

12:53justify trades. So, boom, there's a

12:54little refill. The reason why this

12:56doesn't matter is because it's already

12:58tapped by the time the pointer forms.

12:59Doesn't matter. And then you get another

13:015-minute pointer to the downside, we can

13:02use that to justify trades. You can tell

13:04it's also failed the the swept pointer

13:05test, also doesn't matter. We're using

13:07the same pointer range out. You're fully

13:09mitigating this um this this range once

13:12you create an untap and a pointer.

13:15Um so, whenever that happens

13:17um so, like there is multiple ways we

13:18could we could feather out positions,

13:20create the added trim, make money, do

13:21our risk management, and then refill

13:23those contracts we took off, and then

13:25queue back in again. Really really

13:27simple concept. 5-minute swept pointer

13:28could be a reversal down here if we

13:30>> [laughter]

13:31>> I didn't even remember. God, I swear.

13:34Could be a reversal. 5-minute swept

13:36pointer, go watch the video if you don't

13:37understand why that happened.

13:39Um but again, whenever there you had

13:40that that new pointer, that range

13:42disappears and is no longer valid. In

13:43fact, we actually had a new one right

13:44here, I think.

13:45Um

13:47Uh let me see. Might happen.

13:49I'm assuming there is.

13:51Uh yeah, so we have a new one that forms

13:53here.

13:54Um and you see we came back into it

13:56again, and we retested it. As long as

13:57there was no pointer in there, we can

13:58still use it to justify trades. Uh it

14:00doesn't matter anyways, it's mitigated

14:01now. So, that's a very simple overall

14:04view on how to use the pointer range of

14:06control. I've had a lot of people ask me

14:08about it, especially after yesterday

14:09when I mentioned it, so I wanted to make

14:11the video, get it out as quick as

14:12possible. It's really really simple,

14:13guys. It's just going back to original

14:14pointer rules and knowing you cannot

14:15have an inversion. You cannot have a

14:17bias change unless you have a new

14:19pointer, a new untapped FFEG. So, you

14:21can continue to use that same range to

14:23refill orders after you've done your

14:24added a trim. It's a really really cool

14:26concept. You just have to be careful

14:27with if you're if you have a big pointer

14:29that you're trading like a huge like

14:305-minute or whatever,

14:31um you have to be careful about finding

14:33the lowest pointer. Sometimes you might

14:34just use a 5, and there might be like a

14:363 or 2 or 4 or whatever, something on a

14:38lower time frame that might exist that

14:39could better represent when you'd want

14:41to fill, you get some more precise

14:42entries. Um and like I said, you could

14:44also create untaps while you're

14:46retracing into that. And if you do that,

14:47then create a pointer, well then you

14:49lost money on the retrace. So, you do

14:51have to be careful in with how you use

14:52it. Let's find an example. I mean, that

14:54was one example I found, just that

14:55little retrace and then the the retap.

14:57We'll find another example.

14:59Notice how we're not respecting this

15:01previous range like we uh did before

15:03with other ranges. Let's go to a new New

15:04York, and we'll find a new one. We'll

15:06see if we can find a good example of

15:07this. Nina. Oh my god.

15:11She's a [ __ ] She's a [ __ ]

15:14Okay.

15:16Boom. So, here's our new New York.

15:18>> [snorts]

15:18>> Um

15:20I urge you guys go back into some of the

15:21trades you've taken and see if there

15:23was, you know, or go back into some days

15:25where you thought that were untradable

15:26and see if there was a pointer range of

15:27control that was just a tap that you

15:29couldn't have been a part of. That's

15:30oftentimes what you'll see is like more

15:32than 90% of the time if you missed a

15:34trade that day,

15:35if you were on all day, then the biggest

15:37trades happen as

15:39manipulations into the macro, right? And

15:41so, if you know where the pointer

15:42happened in the previous session, as

15:43long as you don't get a new pointer, you

15:45can use that volatility like then from

15:47from 9:30 like that 9:30 window from

15:49previous sessions to make so much money.

15:51Like it's so free. You literally just

15:52set the level, and then you you just

15:53hold that [ __ ] and enter. Okay, so we

15:55have 5-minute swept pointer probably

15:56going to fail the test here. It's really

15:57really No, it didn't fail the test,

15:59actually. 5-minute swept pointer, so

16:00this is actually a valid pointer range

16:01of control. It could fail, obviously.

16:03Coming from a consolidation. I don't

16:04want to do any deep analysis on this

16:06just cuz like it's just going to be

16:07really

16:08brutal. There we go. You can actually

16:10see my old drawings in here from when I

16:12used to do all this stuff manually and

16:13stuff. It's crazy.

16:14Um

16:15I never got rid of those. But yeah, so

16:16when we're going to see those inversions

16:17are going to be at these untapped FFEGs.

16:19This is going to be a valid range unless

16:21we, you know, create a new pointer

16:22against us.

16:23Uh at this point we were previously

16:25consolidated. This is what I mean by

16:27using that prior logic to kind of not

16:29take trades. We wouldn't be even taking

16:31trades in here due to the consolidation.

16:32Going to have to explain this in the

16:33next video, but you can still see the

16:35lot of justifying until you have that

16:36new pointer, even though it's not very

16:38clean. Whoops, you can't even see. Even

16:40though it's not very clean, we never got

16:41a pointer, and we still used the range.

16:43Then we got a pointer, and now we're no

16:44longer going to use that as a range to

16:46take trades from, but we have a new one

16:47anyways.

16:48We'll look for a more clean one. We'll

16:49wait for a bit of a a wee retrace heavy.

16:53We're out of data. Let's go back a

16:54little bit um

16:56Let's go back. I don't know.

16:59Let's see. Let's go

17:01before

17:02any of this [ __ ] Let's go in here.

17:06>> [snorts]

17:07>> Yeah, bloody week this week, boys. Very

17:09bloody week.

17:10>> [snorts]

17:12>> All right. There we go.

17:14Nina. Oh my god.

17:15Do something, bro.

17:17I bought her a trillion [ __ ] toys. I

17:19spent a whole top-step pay on this

17:20little girl.

17:21She's pulling that [ __ ] she just

17:23chooses the most absurd things. Like she

17:25I came home last night, bro.

17:28I came home last night at 4:00 a.m. I'm

17:30not even going to lie, bro. And somehow

17:33I've gone golfing once in my life. Once.

17:36Once. I had a like one of those little

17:38[ __ ] tee thingies. I don't even know

17:40what the [ __ ] those are called in my

17:41pants pocket in my closet. She crawled

17:44underneath the closet door. I don't know

17:47how the [ __ ] that even happened, bro.

17:49How did you even get your skull through

17:50that [ __ ] She She dug herself in there,

17:53found the one pair of pants that had

17:54that [ __ ] in it. And then she pulled

17:56that [ __ ] out, she chewed it to a

17:57billion pieces. It was all over the the

17:59house, like little tiny fragments of

18:01this thing. Like it exploded or

18:02something. Like how the [ __ ] like where

18:05are you finding this [ __ ] at? Dead ass,

18:07bro. This dog is like it I'm not sure.

18:09She's nuts. She's nuts.

18:12Um she's going to have a lot more room

18:13though very soon. Not trying to announce

18:15anything yet. Some of you guys already

18:17kind of know, but she's going to have

18:18some more room soon, if you know what I

18:19mean. Um

18:22Okay, let's see if we can get a new

18:24pointer range of control. There is a

18:259:30 open. I'm not even going to check

18:26for news. We're not backtesting or

18:27anything. We'll wait for a really clean

18:28There we go. So, this is a 5-minute

18:30pointer swept pointer, so it's not valid

18:31till we break that low. So, you go like

18:33like contract size, and then or that

18:35[snorts] high, excuse me. We did break

18:36the high.

18:37As long as you don't make any new

18:38pointers, new untaps, or whatever, then

18:41it's still valid range of control. We

18:43did break the high though.

18:44Um

18:49That's pretty beautiful. That's pretty

18:51beautiful, chat. Come on.

18:54Swam in that [ __ ] Still no pointer,

18:56still no untap. A lot of consolidation.

18:57You would probably want to feather your

18:59size down. You wouldn't want to be in

19:00too crazy size in that. So, until we

19:02have an untap, till we have a pointer,

19:03it's still valid. We might have had one

19:04moving really quickly in this. Uh my

19:06chances are if it I mean, if we look at

19:08it and it it [ __ ] doesn't hold, then

19:10it we probably at this point had

19:11something. Let's Oh, what the [ __ ] Holy

19:13data loss.

19:15Let me [snorts] find a more clean

19:17example of this. Going a little bit

19:19quick here.

19:21I still want these videos to be too

19:22long.

19:23Um you guys have the attention span of a

19:25[ __ ] fly.

19:26So.

19:28Engagement's been pretty high though.

19:29You guys have been [ __ ] with the boot

19:30camp. You guys have been really rocking

19:32with it. I'm doing my best trying to

19:34grind them out, trying to make sure I

19:35don't have to make any more videos about

19:38these specific concepts again. I can

19:39just point to and say, "There you go."

19:41Um I do have backtesting videos planned.

19:43I also have um

19:45a whole plan to use the trading log that

19:47we have in the Discord. We have an

19:48indicator you can ask to a trading

19:50journal and a

19:51uh a Q&A where you can ask me direct

19:53questions all that kind of [ __ ] I plan

19:54on doing reviews on the YouTube channel

19:56with that. I also plan on inviting

19:57people that own the indicator to hop on

20:00episodes and I'll critique their back

20:02testing. I have whole plans for all this

20:03[ __ ] So, if you want to be involved

20:04with that, just let me know in the

20:05comment section. I'm happy to involve

20:08you.

20:08Okay, so 5-minute pointer. This is our

20:10range control. This is a fat range. It's

20:11like you don't want to use this type of

20:13range to re-justify trades. It's still a

20:15valid entry for longs, but

20:17very good entry for longs, but still not

20:18a range that you want to use to re-take

20:20trades. We can use it conceptually. It's

20:22just so fat, bro. Like it's so fat.

20:24Probably a pointer in there on a lower

20:26time frame. 3-minute pointer if we break

20:28that low, it becomes a valid swept

20:29pointer. There's your valid swept

20:30pointer. We are now looking for those

20:32justified shorts. We can use this as a

20:34range of control. This is a valid

20:36pointer range of control. This previous

20:38range is no longer important. It doesn't

20:39even mean anything to us anymore. We

20:40just refer back to the untapped FVG's.

20:42Obviously, this will fail when we have

20:44the closure of that new pointer. So,

20:46here is your range of control. Boom.

20:49Boom.

20:49Believe that was an untapped. If not,

20:51it's not.

20:52>> [snorts]

20:52>> Um I think it was.

20:55Yeah, and then we have another one

20:55anyways right here.

20:58Um

21:00probably context clues, probably

21:01consolidation.

21:03Till we have Was it on a lower time

21:04frame? Another one? Yeah, very very very

21:07consolidated in here. We ended up having

21:08another one right here. Very small

21:10moves. 5-10 point take profits. This is

21:13the new pointer range control. Just want

21:14to find a clean example of this [ __ ]

21:16Yes, we know pointers work, dude. Just

21:18come back into it.

21:19Okay, at this point it's already

21:20mitigated, so it doesn't matter. [ __ ]

21:22bro. Give me one re-tap. This is why I

21:24pre-recorded the I re-caught those I

21:27like manually found those before the

21:29video cuz I knew it would just take so

21:30long to find them in real time.

21:32Oh man, consolidated.

21:34Delivery of the pointer beautiful. The

21:36beautiful delivery of the pointer, but

21:37just [ __ ] example of what I'm trying to

21:39teach here. Come on.

21:40Come on, NQ.

21:48Okay.

21:52There we go.

21:549:30, boom.

21:57Uh 5-minute swept pointer. Failed the

21:59swept pointer test. Is this an untapped

22:00FVG we came from?

22:02Uh who knows.

22:05Looks like it.

22:09Yes, it is.

22:11>> [snorts]

22:12>> Failed the swept pointer test. 5-minute

22:14pointer to the downside. Assuming, you

22:16know, with context, we're just looking

22:17for this specific concept. So, I'm not

22:18going to go and take trades or anything.

22:205-minute pointer with an added trim uh

22:22most likely on the other equity as well.

22:24Um boom! There's that big move. This is

22:27still valid unless we make a pointer off

22:28these untapped and there it is. Trade

22:30ends.

22:31Consolidated draw.

22:33You got to be [ __ ] kidding me.

22:345-minute swept pointer.

22:37Brutal.

22:38Um

22:39Was there news? Oh, there might have

22:40been news. I'm not looking at this [ __ ]

22:42I'm just trying to

22:43Come on. Okay, so 5-minute inefficient

22:46break.

22:47Question mark? Yeah.

22:50>> [sighs]

22:50>> Give me something clean, son.

22:55Oh my god, bro. Okay, so right here. We

22:57have no data though cuz we're into

22:58all-time highs.

23:005-minute

23:02untapped.

23:06It's already going to make new ones

23:07anyways. I can't work with this, bro. I

23:09need This sucks, bro. We made a new one

23:11anyway. Oh my god. Give me a [ __ ]

23:13example of this, please.

23:16So much for the video being under 20

23:18minutes.

23:19Bro,

23:20come on.

23:22Okay, so here's one. 5-minute swept

23:24pointer passed the pointer test. This is

23:25the current range of control. Assuming

23:27we don't make one off this, we're just

23:28going to validate We have a new one. Two

23:30new ones. We're just going to keep using

23:32these.

23:33Uh

23:37Didn't really go anywhere. Didn't make

23:38any untapped, so it didn't really even

23:39matter.

23:40Never really breathed back into it.

23:42[ __ ] got to be kidding me.

23:44Oh my god.

23:45Uh

23:47Uh

23:51Dude, okay.

23:53I'm going to look for one more session

23:54before I just give up cuz it's going to

23:55take too much time. But, you've seen it.

23:57You get it. Go test it yourself.

24:00Uh

24:00>> [sighs]

24:01>> This is raw.

24:04>> [clears throat]

24:06>> Every single one, we've either not used

24:07it or came from a consolidation, didn't

24:09go anywhere.

24:12Okay.

24:13Uh let me see what we came from here.

24:18Oh, yeah.

24:21>> [clears throat]

24:23>> Come on.

24:26Okay, 5-minute right there.

24:31Oh, this is This should be good. There

24:33we go. 5-minute passed the swept pointer

24:35test.

24:36This one failed, so we're not going to

24:38use it.

24:39Please, you're not untapped FVG.

24:43Didn't make any low time frames, I'll

24:44lose my [ __ ] Oh, we did not. Yeah, we

24:47very easily could and they could also

24:48happen on the other equity.

24:49Um Oh my god. Okay, so this perfectly

24:52explains what I'm talking about. It's

24:53just taking [ __ ] forever to deliver.

24:55So, take a look. Let's read price. So,

24:57we had our 5-minute entry.

24:58Obviously, low contract size. We'll talk

25:00about this in another video, but swept

25:01pointer passed the test, added a trim,

25:04re-breathe back in, refill,

25:06and then you'd be getting out on this

25:07pointer here. So, you're basically

25:09making money in here,

25:11getting back into the discount, and then

25:12getting back out on the premium on the

25:14tap 5-minute tap of the pointer of our

25:16untapped FVG's. And then we have a new

25:18pointer range control that forms here.

25:20So, this is no longer a valid range. It

25:22may still use the range because it's

25:23consolidating, but this is our new

25:26area of interest right here. And it

25:28could still, you know, See, now we're

25:30justifying off that until we make a new

25:32untapped new pointer and it won't use it

25:34anymore.

25:35Um and then

25:36yeah, you just have to work with the new

25:37one.

25:38You can see that it supported it

25:41to a point. Obviously, we're

25:42consolidating, so it doesn't even

25:43[ __ ] matter. All right, we'll do one

25:45more day. Just one more day.

25:47Yeah, this video is like 35 minutes

25:48long. I love that.

25:51Just trying to teach, bro. Trying to

25:52teach this [ __ ]

26:00>> [snorts]

26:00>> It'll be a lot easier to do when we're

26:01back testing and I'm not just looking

26:03and cherry-picking examples of one

26:04concept cuz not one singular concept's

26:06going to make you profitable with this.

26:09I'm only trying to look for the

26:095-minutes, the most visible ones.

26:115-minute swept pointer did not pass the

26:13test yet. Another 5-minute pointer. If

26:14it does, this will be our pointer range

26:15control. Boom.

26:17There's your pointer. There's your most

26:19recent range control. Very fat.

26:22Uh [snorts] oh, was this the macro?

26:269:30 Okay, that was the 9:30 macro.

26:28Um

26:32That was our macro.

26:35Oh my god, this takes a minute, bro.

26:38That was our macro.

26:41Nothing happened. Another 5-minute

26:43pointer, probably another untapped.

26:50There's probably news, bro. Oh my god.

26:52Let me look.

26:54Let me look. Let me see what day was

26:56this.

26:57Obviously, we're not trading the days

26:58that have news.

27:00Um not not not trading the day, I mean.

27:02Not trading when news is delivering. Let

27:03me see. January 9th.

27:06Um Oh, yeah. We Yeah, we had news this

27:08entire time. So, none of this would

27:10actually have been traded. Literally, my

27:11bad. My bad, twin. All right, we're good

27:14to trade now. There was news all up in

27:16this [ __ ]

27:17My fault.

27:19Not trading that. Episode 1.

27:22Okay. Not sure if this is a 5-minute

27:24untapped

27:26reaction. It's not. Might be on the

27:28other equity though.

27:29There might have been something on the

27:30other equity. I want to look for clean

27:31examples though.

27:33Um

27:36Uh

27:39Okay.

27:405-minute pointer, no untapped.

27:43Oh, wait.

27:47Yep, right here.

27:51Man, we just moved too far, bro, for it

27:53to ever reuse it and then we

27:54consolidate.

27:55So, it's like we're not going to even

27:56get the chance to reuse it. Yeah.

27:59Lot of trades, but just no

28:01conceptual.

28:02Come on, bro.

28:05I'm going to give up here in about 20

28:06seconds.

28:07I got no patience for this [ __ ] Oh my

28:09god. Okay.

28:11W trades. W trades, but no

28:15>> [snorts]

28:15>> no reuse there.

28:27There we go. Whoops.

28:31>> [clears throat]

28:32>> Okay, probably 5-minute untapped

28:34reaction there.

28:35There's another one.

28:37Um

28:42Oh my god, consolidating, bro.

28:44Okay, this did end up working.

28:48Five Okay, this one passed the 5-minute

28:49swept test. So, this is the current

28:51pointer range control. If they passed

28:53the test, I believe it's off of an

28:54untapped. I believe still can fail due

28:56to the swept pointer and create a new

28:58pointer on a lower time frame in there

28:59and then obviously it doesn't count

29:00anymore.

29:02Holy consolidation, bro. Okay, doesn't

29:03matter. We ended up making a new one on

29:04a lower time frame.

29:06New 5-minute pointer. Another 5-minute

29:08pointer. Still just PO3, bro. Oh my god.

29:10This is

29:11I'm going to go back to this price range

29:13and probably teach PO3 cuz this is just

29:14beautiful.

29:15Um 5-minute right here. 5-minute pointer

29:17range control. Boom.

29:19Hopefully, we have an instant reaction,

29:21but no pointer. That's ultimately what

29:22we're looking for.

29:24Oh my god.

29:26Crash out.

29:28Bro.

29:32Dude.

29:34Dude, this is this is this is just so

29:35annoying.

29:38Oh my god, bro.

29:40I have no patience, bro. I have no

29:41patience.

29:43>> [snorts]

29:44>> Okay, 5-minute pointer. I don't even

29:45think we're reacting to anything. I

29:46think this is highs. Oh my god, this is

29:49so annoying.

29:51Oh my god. Okay, all-time highs. Great.

29:55Cool.

29:57I'm just going to look at all sessions

29:58at this point. I just can't be picky.

30:02I just can't be picky.

30:05>> [snorts]

30:05>> Okay, 5-minute pointer.

30:08Another 5-minute pointer.

30:14This is the of the previous range.

30:18Let's wait for London.

30:25Totally [ __ ]

30:34Okay.

30:37Don't go high, bro. That's the last

30:38thing I want. Okay, 5-minute swept. This

30:41will be our new range if we break that

30:43low.

30:45Boom.

30:46So, as long as we are going to go to

30:48those untapped FVG's, as long as we

30:51um

30:51don't create a new point and this is

30:53still valid. Boom, look at that. And

30:54this is perfect cuz it it's a new it's a

30:56new a new range. Wait, so we have a new

30:57one here and we came back and we

30:59re-tapped it and then formed a new

31:00pointer. It's pretty pretty cool and we
