0:00Morning, guys. It's uh Thursday morning.

0:03We've had a good week so far. It's been

0:06um it's been busy doing this kind of

0:09rebrand that we're doing. Uh time is

0:136:00 a.m. and I'm going to go to the sea

0:16now for a little swim, get the day

0:19going. Uh and yeah, I find getting out

0:23in the morning kind of really helps.

0:40So before we get to the sele, I thought

0:43I'd cover what has been going on this

0:46week and where we're at in our journey

0:50of this kind of evolution of trigger

0:52fire into 2.0. As you know, last Friday

0:54I posted about how we're trying to go

0:55more upstream with our products. We're

0:58trying to get more ingrained with uh

1:01different departments. We're trying to

1:02become more sticky. We're trying to pull

1:05away from just being known as a sales

1:10tool and kind of a sales signal tool and

1:12more of a a all-encompassing social

1:16signal tool. And when I mean by social

1:17signal, I don't mean how you probably

1:19all think of us. I generally mean like,

1:22hey, there's been a crisis alert,

1:23there's been um a sentiment spike, a

1:26product has been launched by your

1:28competitor,

1:30um you know, you're you've got negative

1:32reviews based on XY Z feature, you know,

1:35things like that that are critical for

1:38uh companies to know and to use as part

1:42of their whole entire product road map,

1:44uh go to market strategy, things like

1:46that. We're trending very nicely. The

1:49kind of idea is that we're going to

1:50start to kind of complete this

1:52transition start of June, which means

1:54the website's needing to be completely

1:56redone. The old website is just not fit

1:58for purpose anymore given like the whole

2:01of the copy and the story and the

2:04narrative needs to change on the

2:05website. And so we're we're undergoing

2:08that and Pier is undergoing that. The

2:11whole product is needing to be redone as

2:13well. Um, and so Morgan and the

2:17developer team are working insanely hard

2:20to effectively redo what we've done.

2:22It's a whole makeover. It's a whole

2:25change in features. We're introducing

2:28agents into social listening, which is

2:30really, really exciting. It gives you

2:32summarization. It gives you action

2:34points. We're also introducing uh a

2:37workflow builder. And this is one part

2:40that I'm particularly excited on because

2:43now you can create your own custom

2:45agents off the back of social data and

2:48you can have them root these information

2:50wherever you want to. So it's insanely

2:53powerful because the biggest drawback

2:56about agents is they don't have access

2:58to social data and it's incredibly hard

3:00for them to get that. And what we're now

3:02giving them is the power to have all of

3:06this rich information that's been

3:08structured and feed it to these agents

3:10so that they can kind of create their

3:12own custom signals and then route that

3:15to wherever they want. For example, they

3:17can have an agent read every single

3:19tweet um that comes in and depending on

3:24what's being said, they could create a

3:25linear ticket for product, for example.

3:28Um, or they could send a text message if

3:32there's been a key risk word being

3:34mentioned, right? And maybe it's

3:36something about like there's downtime on

3:38the platform or something like that. Uh,

3:41and so that is what I'm hugely excited

3:43for is this workflow builder and agents

3:46coming into the platform which we're

3:48hoping to have at least an MVP or

3:51version one completed by start of June

3:55to build on everything that we've

3:57already uh already

4:05[Applause]

4:16Oh, now here's something that I've been

4:19thinking about. That is the new motion

4:22that we're doing. We're going to be

4:24deploying a it's like a salesass

4:27assisted motion, moving away from a PLG

4:30motion. And it's tough because we're

4:33changing something that's working like

4:34PLG is kind of working. It's just churn

4:37is high high. Um, you know, I feel like

4:42we attract the wrong customers with PLG

4:44a little bit. So, but not only that, I

4:46feel like the narrative is wrong as

4:48well.

4:50um in terms of like the way that we

4:52bring customers on board, how they're

4:54using us. So, there needs to be like an

4:56element of sales to help them with that.

4:57And I think that's what we're trying to

4:59accomplish and achieve basically. But

5:02then what we're going to be doing is um

5:05we're probably going to have sales

5:06people on the end of these these

5:07inbounds, right? And we get anywhere

5:09between like in theory we're getting

5:11over six 600 to,000 people sign up a

5:13month via trial. Now, that's going to

5:15deteriorate if you put a demo block in

5:17front of that, of course. So, let's say

5:2060 70% of that go. There's still higher

5:23percentage. And if you're closing 20 to

5:2525% of

5:26that at a higher ACV, it's more of an

5:30efficient motion that we have now. And

5:32then theory, we can start to do annual

5:34deals and things like that and really

5:36drive people and make this substantially

5:38better than anything that we're doing

5:39right now.

5:40So, the thought was like, do we go

5:42full-on salesled, close everything down,

5:45like change the pricings, hide the

5:47pricing, blah blah blah. No, I don't

5:48want that. I want to do more of like a

5:50salesass assisted motion, but I want to

5:52change away from PLG. And the thought

5:54process is to go into more of a salesass

5:56assisted motion. Anyway, let's go get a

5:58swim cuz it's pretty cold and windy. I

6:00don't know if you can even hear me.

6:20That is the swim done. It's windy. I

6:21hope you can hear me. The sea pool is

6:23closed. Annual maintenance. So, we have

6:25to go in the uh sea. Anyway, we're going

6:27to go home now and uh grab a shower,

6:30walk the dogs, and then get started with

6:32the day. We got a busy busy day. I got

6:34quite a few calls today. I got about six

6:36or seven calls and then uh some demos

6:38that I'm doing and then also I'm taking

6:40a few demos of some tools that I'm

6:42evaluating as well to help us with this

6:44uh potential shift in motion. So I'll

6:46keep you with me through the day from my

6:49side in terms of what be going on. I

6:51basically just started this whole GTM

6:54motion change. So I've started mapping

6:56out like everything including like the

6:58pricing packages which includes the new

7:00workflow builder things that we're going

7:01to be doing. um the whole user journey

7:04of like what it will look like, what's

7:06involved in the steps, uh if we close

7:09them, if we don't. So, we've got like

7:10the whole like sales and CS uh workflow

7:13basically

7:15um entirely uh mapped out as well. And

7:19then likewise like our whole content

7:21strategy and how we're thinking about

7:23it. And that's why I took the call with

7:24these people today. I've got another two

7:26calls. Can I get on that? Yeah, I think

7:29the the tour looks incredible by the

7:30way. Um it looks really looks really

7:33interesting and uh taking another

7:35company with this forecasting. Anyway,

7:37I'm just starting to gear us up and

7:39making sure that we have the correct

7:39tech stack to be ready for um more of a

7:43salesled motion. So that's been my focus

7:46point. Also wanted to show you an update

7:48on the veg cuz I thought this would be a

7:50good little antidote to the vlog. Here

7:52we have some green beans and tomatoes

7:54growing quite nicely. We got some

7:56potatoes and uh purple cabbage. And then

8:00look at these onions. These onions are

8:02looking good with some lettuce. There's

8:05the kids and wife and cabbage, kale, and

8:10carrots. Looking pretty

8:16good. There we go. What more do you

8:19want? I'll keep you updated. The uh plan

8:22is to get some uh

8:25what do you call it? Some bamboo so it

8:28can grow up. This video is hilarious.

8:29It's like, okay, we decide we're going

8:31to build this integration. It's in this

8:32chair. I'm fil.

8:41All right, guys. That concludes this

8:44week. Um, it's been a good week. I think

8:48we're really aligning nicely for the

8:51change in kind of motions and this

8:53hybrid motion. We just launched our new

8:54social listening capabilities which has

8:57uh boolean query capabilities, sentiment

8:59analysis and Reddit and YouTube in there

9:01as well. And we're now gearing up for

9:04additional socials to go in there. So we

9:05got podcasts, uh newsletters, so

9:07substacks going in there um which I'm

9:09excited about and some other kind of uh

9:12socials as well. I'm thinking that we're

9:13going to start to add review sites,

9:15forums, things like that coming down the

9:17line. Anyway, the focus now with the

9:18product is shifting on to actually

9:20creating uh a workflow builder inside of

9:22Triggery. So, you all know I'm a I'm a

9:24massive fan of building out flows and uh

9:27things like that. And I wanted to create

9:30a way for people to action this social

9:34data coming through through the through

9:35the course of automations and agents as

9:38well. So now we're actively working on

9:40building these and getting it into the

9:41platform and we'll hopefully have

9:42something in prototype uh by end of this

9:44month, start of June, which means we're

9:46going to have a completely revamped

9:47social listening, the ability to have

9:49agents listen to all of your social

9:51posts to surface, you know, different

9:53signals, risk detection on particular

9:55keywords being mentioned, sentiment

9:57spikes, sentiment trends, competitor

9:59intelligence, product launches that

10:01they've done, office expansions that

10:03they've done, people changing roles.

10:04It's going to be invaluable information

10:06for sales teams, marketing teams, and uh

10:09product teams as well. So really

10:11enabling that kind of go to market

10:13motion. So next week I'll bring you

10:15along for the ride as well. Yeah, it be

10:17be interesting to kind of keep doing

10:18this thing and just documenting this

10:19journey and see how it kind of

10:21transitions and and changes uh pace and

10:24as we learn new things.
