1:01today, very important episode. Today, we

1:03are starting pointer techniques. Today,

1:04we are starting to talk about some of

1:06the way we're going to size in, how

1:07we're going to actually trade using the

1:09MAC model. We're going to be going in

1:11and doing a little bit of backtesting, a

1:12little bit of um kind of testing

1:14previous implied moves and how we could

1:15size on them, all that kind of good

1:17stuff.

1:18That's going to be our main focus today.

1:20The best way to teach techniques is just

1:21to get our [ __ ] hands dirty, right?

1:23Getting in the backtesting. We're not

1:24going to do any deep backtesting. We're

1:25just going to talk about specific

1:27techniques. It might end up being deep

1:28backtesting. I I don't really know, bro.

1:30I'm just kind of winging this one. So,

1:31let's get into it. Let me share this.

1:33There we go. Okay. So, um I should

1:36probably also get news open, too. I'm

1:38not going to lie, but

1:40if there's news and we fumble, then it

1:41is what it is. I'm also on a janky

1:43setup, so I apologize if the recording

1:45is dog [ __ ] but we need to learn.

1:48So, anyways, we're coming into a

1:49Tuesday. I did a little bit of

1:50backtesting in here before on Monday,

1:51but we're going to start on the Tuesday.

1:53Uh matter of fact, people are going to

1:55give me [ __ ] if I if I don't start

1:57on on a [ __ ] random time.

2:00So, we're going to do that.

2:01>> [clears throat]

2:02>> Let's just go back a little bit more.

2:05Um bro, you saw the data ahead of time.

2:07Um bro,

2:09cooked. All right. Let's get to work,

2:11boys. Let's get to work. Let's go ahead

2:13and I only when I'm backtesting, I only

2:15backtest the 9:30 to 4:00 p.m. uh

2:18key open just because

2:21going to be the most volume. Um if it

2:23seems like I'm anxious or nervous right

2:25now, it's because I am off like three

2:27scoops of Bucked Up. I'm [ __ ]

2:29[ __ ] myself right now. I look like I

2:30took a fat [ __ ] before this. Probably

2:32going to have to pause the video and do

2:33another one, fortunately. Coming at our

2:359:30 open. I don't know if there's news.

2:36I'm not going to check. There might be

2:38news. If there is and there's something

2:39weird that happens, then we're going to

2:40go ahead and um we're going to go ahead

2:42and uh double take that. So, let's talk

2:46about the trade so far, the day so far.

2:48We are actively in an implied move. This

2:51implied move was a open um probably

2:54lower timeframe pointer. Um macro

2:56breakout. Not even in this case.

2:59Probably something beforehand.

3:01Breakout on the 9:30 window. Obviously,

3:03we're not going to trade the 9:30

3:04window. We have a 5-minute pointer um

3:07closing within these this FFEG set. And

3:09then we have to check the other equity

3:11to see if it's tapping into a um

3:14it's tapping into an uh a untapped um

3:17FFEG. We are not I don't even think that

3:19set was untapped. Actually, this set was

3:21untapped, but we have not created a

3:23pointer on uh NQ.

3:26Um and then ES as far as ES is

3:27concerned, let's run this back. Let's

3:29run this back and see if this was

3:30untapped when we came into it.

3:32If it is, we're going to go and take

3:33this pointer to start our bias chain

3:35here.

3:36Um okay, so yeah, we're coming into an

3:38untapped FFEG. We're coming into this

3:40untapped FFEG. There's the tap, and then

3:42we have a pointer uh efficient

3:44validation of that um

3:46of that FFEG. Now, so this specific

3:49pointer is what we call a SMT pointer.

3:52If you go to ES, you'll notice that

3:53there is no pointer here. It's just like

3:55um an inefficient closure through these

3:57FFEGs. Typically, you'll see this type

3:59of thing when FFEGs hold. There's so

4:01many FFEGs. When you see a lot of FFEGs,

4:03you want to kind of think rejection or

4:05struggle or even consolidation. Now,

4:07we're coming into another untapped FFEG.

4:09Uh this is not an additive trim

4:10situation.

4:12It's a weak pointer. This is one of our

4:13weak pointers. The weak pointers that we

4:15have are SMT pointers. One equity has a

4:17a pointer, the other one doesn't. Swept

4:18pointers. What else is there? Um uh

4:22pointers that have already made the move

4:23to the next FFEG. Those are what we

4:24consider our weak pointers. So, our job

4:27is to make sure that we use that context

4:29and not go overly size. So, on this

4:31particular video, I'm going to be using

4:33a 5-10 split. So, in this case, we're

4:35going to be using five contracts to the

4:36downside.

4:37Um and as far as targets, let's talk

4:39about techniques when we're in a MAC

4:40trade, okay? We're taking a pointer,

4:415-minute pointer validation. There might

4:43have been something on the lower

4:44timeframe um off of that untapped FFEG.

4:47Um

4:48I kind of like this. The problem being

4:51we can have a rejection off of this FFEG

4:53instantly. So, I always like to measure

4:55the risk when it comes to this next

4:56trade. What is the minimum size um the

4:59absolute minimum size pointer required

5:02when we're looking at this? Like, what

5:03would be the bare minimum loss that we

5:04would see if the pointer validates here?

5:06Well, find the bottom of the untapped

5:08and find the first little point of where

5:11that pointer could potentially form

5:12right here. So, at minimum, we're

5:13looking at a 40-point loss at minimum.

5:15This is not a really good situation to

5:18go in if you're going like 10 contracts

5:20because this is the minimum size, right?

5:22It could literally [ __ ] wick down in

5:23here and then point break. Like, that

5:25would suck, but the the minimum the

5:27minimum loss that we could see from from

5:28this entry would be

5:30the entry to here. So, the minimum loss

5:33would be 30 points. The maximum loss

5:34would be 37 points, right? So, we're

5:36looking about 20 25 Wait, what was the

5:39original one? I didn't even [ __ ]

5:40look. Like a basically 30 to 40-point

5:43loss if this trade fails. So, we don't

5:45want to go high size in that. All right,

5:46that's the minimum amount that we could

5:48lose on that.

5:49Um and the max amount that we could lose

5:50on that if the pointer happens right

5:51here. So, as far as risk management is

5:53concerned, the way we want to take our

5:55trims, we have three types of trims. We

5:57have the trim at the FFEG at or near EQ

6:00range. So, you want to use a untapped

6:02FFEG around the EQ range. So, basically,

6:05you're assuming the consolidation.

6:07If we can predict not predict, but if we

6:09it expect it to consolidate or if it

6:11will consolidate, um which oftentimes

6:13you kind of have to test to see, then

6:16it's going to do it off of the untapped.

6:17So, we use the untapped as a way to

6:19de-risk out of a position. Now, notice

6:21that this range is not very large,

6:23right? $85 if we went full contract size

6:25here. So, this is a bad example, but

6:27theoretically, you would use the

6:29untapped FFEG EQ range to take a trim if

6:32we were to consolidate. That way, you

6:33can get contracts off. Now, another way

6:35we're going to take trims if we're

6:37coming from an SMT.

6:38So, like let's say you see this high

6:40back here. Let's say we took this high,

6:41but ES didn't. Well, then we're going to

6:43use the lows associated with the highs

6:45as a longer form take profit. So, like

6:48any lows attached to the the highs or

6:50highs attached to the lows, we're going

6:51to use as a take profit. They're just

6:53easier to get when you've SMT'd a high

6:55or a low. It's a lot more guaranteed

6:57it's going to be a way that we're going

6:58to exit uh contracts. Another way we're

7:00going to exit contracts is doing

7:01additive trims. So, I will be teaching a

7:02little bit of that today. Taught it in

7:03the last video, but we're in this uh

7:05short now.

7:06Again, we can fully find a reason to get

7:08out of this trade if we have a pointer

7:11off of an untapped. You'll see on this

7:12lower timeframe, we have a 3-minute

7:13pointer off this untapped uh FFEG. We're

7:16going to go and take five contracts

7:17again on this short. So, we lost like 50

7:19bucks there.

7:20Um and then now at this point, we're

7:22going to looking at our trade here and

7:23saying, "Okay, what can we do?" Well,

7:24not a whole lot, right? What I like to

7:26do is I want to size in when I have

7:29those additive trims. I'm going to take

7:30those extra contracts when I have those

7:31additive trims. We can go to that

7:323-minute pointer again and kind of see

7:34if ES is also a pointer. If it is, we're

7:37going to take 10 contracts. So, notice

7:38how it is a pointer. So, we're going to

7:40go back to uh our NQ. We're going to go

7:42ahead and size in an extra five

7:44contracts to make this a full bias

7:46trade.

7:47>> [snorts]

7:47>> And then what I like to do, we'll go

7:48back to our 5-minute timeframe. We're

7:50going to find an untapped FFEG, which is

7:53where we're going to reject from if we

7:54will, and we're going to use this as a

7:56small trim point, right? Because we've

7:58already had two candles to cause two

8:00PO3s. So, we're going to go and use this

8:01as a trim point. Let me just take take

8:03off a standard amount, right? Don't You

8:05know, there's no correct answer when it

8:06comes to trims, but whatever you do, do

8:08it consistently. So, in this case,

8:10because we lost 50 bucks, I'm going to

8:11go and just like set in like three three

8:13contracts here, right? So, at minimum,

8:15this is going to be like a $200 little

8:17move here uh that we're going to be able

8:19to get here. Unless, remember, you want

8:21to think about the FFEGs as the traffic,

8:22right? We have our targets, which are

8:23the untapped FFEGs. There's our trim.

8:26There's our little contracts being sent

8:27off there. We're not coming from an SMT,

8:29so we have no other reason to get out.

8:31If the trade goes flat here, we kind of

8:32walk away with about 200 bucks in our

8:33pocket, which is nice cuz we lost 50

8:35bucks in that previous trade. So, here

8:38is another technique. Okay, we have a

8:405-minute pointer reacting to an untapped

8:42FFEG. We have an untapped FFEG on the

8:43internal range. Sell-side sweep,

8:45untapped pointer validating the

8:47untapped. Basically,

8:48how do you treat this? We're already in

8:50a trade. We already have enough capital,

8:52enough risk in this trade. We're not

8:53going to just allocate more risk because

8:55of one simple reason. Nothing has

8:57changed about the narrative of this

8:58trade since we were given that 3-minute

8:59pointer entry or wherever that entry

9:01was. Was it the 3-minute? I don't know.

9:03Who knows where that was, actually.

9:06I don't know why it's not showing now.

9:07The [ __ ]

9:09>> [snorts]

9:09>> It was somewhere in there.

9:12It did not Oh, it was a 4-minute. Okay,

9:14I'm smoking that [ __ ] Anyways,

9:16the

9:18there is nothing that's different about

9:19this trade now. There's nothing that's

9:21um

9:22essentially from our entry, nothing's

9:24changed. You don't want to add any extra

9:25risk to a trade unless you are able to

9:27guarantee the additive trim. So, if we

9:29have an additive trim, for example, on

9:31this trade, then we would 100% want to

9:33add extra risk. Um but yeah, so at this

9:35point, we have no reason to do anything.

9:37If we had a swept pointer in the other

9:38equity, which we might have, then we

9:40could use that to de-risk our contracts.

9:42Let me just go back and see if that was

9:43the case. Okay, look. See this 5-minute

9:45swept pointer right here? We could have

9:47used the data coming from this buy-side

9:49sweep. If you look to the our swept

9:50pointer video,

9:52um I'll put a little tag up there if you

9:54haven't watched it yet. We can use swept

9:56pointers at highs to de-risk our trades,

9:58and that typically happens like this.

10:00So, what we could have done there, go to

10:01that 1-minute timeframe and use these

10:03candles to let go of contracts. So,

10:05since I'm lagged here, I'm on

10:07a L setup, I'm just going to go and

10:08reduce my contract size

10:09cuz we will essentially if we could

10:12create you know untapped FVG in here,

10:14then we're going to you know um maintain

10:16that bias to the downside. So, this

10:18point, nothing has changed. In fact,

10:19this is a good example of point of range

10:21of control. We had We did not have a

10:23point to the downside here. We came back

10:24into that original pointer. If we go to

10:26ES, I almost bet you that we probably

10:28pulled into that that pointer. There it

10:30is. There's the pointer. There's the

10:31pullback into the pointer. See that? So,

10:34something to keep in mind there.

10:35Keep that in mind. We'll go back to NQ.

10:39No reason to get out yet. I'm going to

10:40maintain my bias in this trade.

10:42Um

10:44No other trims at this point. Um we've

10:47got to keep track of our PO3, our PO3

10:49count, another 5-minute pointer. This is

10:51a 5-minute swept pointer. So, what we

10:52can do is we can use the data from the

10:55high to test whether or not we want to

10:56stay in this trade. I didn't actually

10:58figure out which high that was. Um okay,

11:00so we're going to reduce our contract

11:01size here. We're going to take half of

11:03our contracts off here. That was a big

11:05dump, plus we made a FVG in there. So,

11:08not something I want to hold cuz if we

11:09use that FVG and then create a pointer,

11:12then obviously we're going to have an

11:13inverse on this on this trade.

11:15There's [snorts] our untapped. We'll see

11:16if we get a pointer from here to reverse

11:18our bias. Boom. Okay, we're going to

11:20close our trade here.

11:21Um I'm probably not going to take the

11:23entry. The reason why is we have a

11:265-minute pointer reacting to our

11:27untapped FVGs. It's a swept pointer, and

11:30we have a big-ass set of FVGs in here.

11:32So, I'm going to avoid the short. Also,

11:34I just don't like how we've been

11:36trading. It's very choppy. So, going to

11:38avoid the trade to the downside. That

11:39doesn't mean it's bad. I'm just going to

11:41avoid it personally cuz what happens is

11:43the 5-minute swept pointers into FVGs of

11:45doom

11:47will usually turn into consolidations.

11:49So, got to be careful about that. So,

11:50I'm going to avoid that. That was a

11:52pretty good call there.

11:53Um but the bias did change. Um there's

11:55probably just lower timeframe pointers

11:57in there. Um I'm probably good to trade

11:58again. I'm just going to Like I said,

12:00you guys, I'm not looking to backtest

12:01like crazy right now. I'm just kind of

12:03in here. I'm not doing anything too

12:04deep. I just want to explain some of my

12:06thought process, you know, kind of put

12:07you in the perspective of it. Again,

12:09same context here, 5-minute swept

12:11pointer. Um if it breaks that low, what

12:13the [ __ ] What was that, bro?

12:16Oh, bro.

12:18Okay, another 5-minute swept pointer.

12:19Same exact thing here. Um this will

12:21break if we get inefficient closures

12:23over the all these FVGs. The reason why

12:25I don't want to take this is it's

12:26because it's a lot easier to flip one

12:27FVG than it is to flip 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8,

12:30all that. If you look at any

12:32consolidation, if you study

12:33consolidations, they're built out of a

12:35[ __ ] ton of FVGs, right? And so, I don't

12:37want to sit here and just like

12:39[ __ ] like take the entry on a

12:415-minute swept pointer after another

12:425-minute swept pointer after all that

12:44[ __ ] FVG nonsense and have to gamble

12:46on inefficient breaks and all this. I

12:48want to wait for it to reduce them down

12:50to one common set. So, I'm not going to

12:52take trades in that. And sometimes you

12:53just need the volume to displace. You

12:55just need it to come out of nowhere and

12:56just let the market do its thing. This

12:58is PO3 if I've ever seen it.

13:00Um

13:01we [clears throat] need to wait

13:01obviously for the high to clear, but we

13:04have a 5-minute swept pointer

13:06with an additive trim here at the high.

13:08We do want to check ES just cuz of the

13:09way the wicks look. We want to check ES

13:11to see if we've already tapped into

13:12something.

13:13Um

13:15Okay, we're inside of FVGs. So, this

13:17move is not guaranteed. We're not

13:19guaranteed to move to that untapped FVG.

13:21We're stuck in the FVG. So, this is a

13:235-minute continuation from an untapped.

13:26Um I I I would add half my risk. I

13:28wouldn't go full size in this. I'm going

13:30to add half my risk, and then we can use

13:32the data from this swept pointer to

13:34de-risk the trade, right? To kind of

13:36take contracts off if it doesn't look so

13:37hot. So, we'll kind of see how it looks

13:39here. Um if we end up having an

13:41inefficient break, I'll close a I'll

13:42close like two or three contracts. If we

13:44close the FVG, I should have done that.

13:46I'm going to go and reduce my I'm just

13:48going to get out of this trade.

13:49$100 loss on that. And 5-minute pointer

13:51to the downside. Look at that. So, we

13:53have a re-entry to the downside here. Um

13:55this one's not as bad because we're

13:57coming from that untapped. I'm going to

13:58go and take this trade full size. Um and

14:02we have that new untapped on the inside

14:03of the range. I'm going to take this

14:04trade full size. Yep, we have two

14:07pointers correlated with one another, so

14:09we're going to take this full size. And

14:10then I will go over my targets. I'm

14:12going to take full size here. My first

14:14trim is going to be at the untapped FVG,

14:17and then the rest are not an SMT or

14:19anything like that. Um I have no other

14:21targets. We're just kind of inverse on

14:22the pointer that you know, may or may

14:24not follow. I hate how TradingView does

14:25that. They like literally [ __ ] gaps.

14:28I don't know why I don't know why it

14:29does that. There might have been a move

14:30to the untapped FVG on ES

14:33um that I missed.

14:35Uh I don't want to go back. It's going

14:36to reset my

14:37um No, it's not untapped. So, I don't

14:41think we have anything to worry about.

14:43Oh, wait. What was this even from? And

14:45did we even tap it? Oh, I'm [ __ ]

14:46smoking here. We didn't even tap an

14:47untapped FVG. This is my bad. This is

14:49what I mean. Kind of speeding through

14:50this. This is not a trade. There was no

14:52untapped FVG. I'm smoking that [ __ ] My

14:54bad. Disregard what I just said. It's

14:55[ __ ] stupid.

14:57Completely ignore that. Um now, this is

14:59valid. This is a 5-minute um Is that a

15:01swept pointer? Yeah, 5-minute swept

15:03pointer reacting to that untapped FVG.

15:05Again, not going to take this even

15:06though it is a bias setting trade,

15:08mainly because of the a million FVGs in

15:10here that we would [clears throat] have

15:12to flip in order for this to break down

15:14to the next set. It could go to this

15:16untapped FVG. There's a chance. It's

15:18just not a higher probability trade. I

15:19want

15:20Why am I in longs?

15:22Okay, got it. Um 5-minute pointer

15:25reacting to untapped FVGs. What I like

15:28about this trade is that we are

15:29basically just on this 1-minute um FF uh

15:32inverse FVG. So, if we can get a

15:36um

15:36if we can get a what's it called? A

15:38mitigation of it, then this would be a

15:41pretty good trade to to take to the

15:42upside. So, I'll take half my size here.

15:45Um this is a continuation style trade.

15:47If you remember from the continuation

15:48video when I talked about

15:49consolidations, we have PO3 here. The

15:51reason why I'm okay taking this is

15:52because if we get an inefficient break,

15:54then we can guarantee the additive trim.

15:57And what this means is that then we can

15:59uh have that extra guaranteed risk. We

16:01want to only take continuations with

16:02guaranteed risk. We'll check ES.

16:05Um okay, I'm going to actually run that

16:08back. If you look, ES does have those

16:10FVGs there. So, I'm going to continue to

16:12avoid this for now. You got to check

16:14both equities. It's an important habit

16:15to get into. So, I'm not going to be

16:16taking this long, but if that 1-minute

16:17flips, you could see a big gap. It did

16:19not flip. So, there is how we can kind

16:22of use context to avoid shitty trades.

16:23And again, we're still PO3. I'm not

16:25looking to take uh anything else until

16:27we get that. These little gaps will

16:28happen. Look at that. See, this is what

16:30I talk about, right? Pointer move not

16:32sustained.

16:33This is what you need to understand

16:34about MEC is the pointers will move

16:37price. You will move to the untapped

16:38from untapped from pointer, whatever.

16:40But where Where will we pull back to? If

16:42we pull back immediately, was it worth

16:43the entry? Of course not, right? Cuz

16:45then you have to do a lot of trim work,

16:46and it's stressful, and it's annoying.

16:48So,

16:49we have PO3, so we know we don't want to

16:50take any trades until we can take a

16:52higher low not associated. So, we're

16:53going to be targeting waiting for a New

16:54York PM high to take trades back into

16:56the range. But we can't take

16:57continuations. Now, this could be a good

16:59continuation if we have a pointer on the

17:01other equity, like somewhere in here. No

17:03pointer. There might have been a lower

17:04timeframe in here. We're going to sit

17:05out on this since we lost our um

17:08our bearings in there. We have no

17:09untapped FVG, so this is just kind of

17:11just sitting here.

17:14Um

17:16We're going to wait for that New York PM

17:17high to be taken, or if we can get a

17:18good reaction here, this would be a

17:20clean uh clean entry. Again, I'm going

17:21to avoid this. Not reacting to anything.

17:23It just looks like dog [ __ ] Look at

17:25that. See, this is how we can avoid

17:26shitty pointers. It just takes context,

17:28guys. That's a 5-minute high. I don't

17:30know if um

17:31I don't know if that was the one I I was

17:32waiting for. Oh, it's a completely

17:33different high. So, we're we're free to

17:34take trades back into the range now.

17:36Totally fine to do so, but as of now,

17:38we're just kind of chilling.

17:40Um I'm not Like I said, I'm not doing

17:42hyper-specific backtesting right now.

17:43I'm literally just

17:44just like kind of reading price and kind

17:46of giving you my feelings on stuff.

17:48I'm giving you some techniques.

17:50There might [snorts] be, you know,

17:50entries in here I'm missing. You know,

17:52I'm not doing any anything too deep at

17:53the moment. I'm kind of just looking at

17:54the 5-minute. So, this is a really good

17:56um a really good entry. There was

17:57probably some pointers in the lower

17:59timeframe in here somewhere between both

18:01equities. You have 4-minute and then

18:03inefficient break. So, we have a

18:04potentially good move here. We're coming

18:06to the end of day

18:07um on this on this day here.

18:10I've seen nothing I'm really interested

18:12in

18:13at this point.

18:14Like I said, just kind of

18:16seeing the techniques as they come. Not

18:17doing any full crazy backtesting.

18:20Um okay, yeah, we missed a trade. We're

18:22just probably going to chill on this

18:24until we get our new day here.

18:27Uh 3:50 window. We're going to go and

18:29just ice it. We'll move to the next

18:30session. Hopefully we get some better PA

18:32in the next session. But yeah, so with

18:34that that big one was just kind of

18:35talking about reading those pointers

18:36before they um before they fail. I

18:39always say this, but most pointers can

18:40be recognized as failing pointers before

18:42you take them. And that's because we use

18:44the FVGs to create context. Um

18:47If you run the indicator fast enough,

18:49bro, sometimes it'll Oh, whoops. It'll

18:52kind of bug out with this. It's just a

18:53TradingView error.

18:54Um okay, so this is already We already

18:56have an ongoing implied move. This is a

18:58beautiful trade already.

19:00Um

19:01this is a weak pointer because we've

19:02already made had the transition to the

19:04untapped FVG from the untapped FVG. So,

19:06we're going to go low size in this.

19:075-minute pointer reacting to untapped

19:09FVG. It's a continuation on EQ range. Um

19:12we're going to go light size in this.

19:14I have no trims, no targets. We're just

19:15using the uh pointer that forms as a

19:18result of it as a way to trim. If this

19:19was a swept pointer on the other equity,

19:20it would be a good trim point. But this

19:22is one of those trades where you just

19:23kind of have to let it ride because you

19:25don't have that much size in. And this

19:27is definitely letting it ride, I will

19:28say. We're definitely letting our nuts

19:29hang on this one a little bit. We'll see

19:31if there's any pointers reacting to that

19:32untapped FVG. If I missed it on the

19:34other equity, we'll check. Let's see ES.

19:37Doesn't look like we have anything. Very

19:39close, but no cigar. Um yeah, nothing in

19:42there.

19:43I'm going to go and avoid this for now.

19:46Um okay, 5-minute swept pointer. I don't

19:48know if this is tapped or untapped

19:49before.

19:50Looks like untapped. 5-minute swept

19:52pointer. We're going to but it's

19:53reacting to an untapped FFEG. So, here's

19:56what we have to do. We have to use the

19:58pointer to de-risk on. I always say it's

20:00better to to um

20:02it's better to keep the trade that's

20:03already winning versus take a trade that

20:04could lose because you can you have

20:06guaranteed profits at this point. So,

20:08what we're going to do is we're just

20:09going to automatically reduce our

20:10contract size on the fact that there's a

20:12pointer. But then what we're going to

20:13Whoops.

20:15That sucks. Okay, well, I accidentally

20:16added a contract. So, reduce our size

20:18there.

20:18>> [laughter]

20:19>> This is just not accurate at all

20:20anymore. Let's run this back. Wait, is

20:22this going to remove all my data from

20:23this back test?

20:25I guess it doesn't really matter since

20:26we're not back testing. Sorry for the

20:28lighting by the way.

20:29Um

20:30my bad.

20:31>> [laughter]

20:32>> My bad. Um let's run this trade back.

20:34We'll do actual data

20:36um and when we do back test and stuff,

20:38but for now

20:39just bear with me.

20:41Okay, let's go back to where we were.

20:43We're going to take two contracts off at

20:45the pointer and then we're going to use

20:47this fact that it's a sweep pointer from

20:48an untapped tapping into an untapped.

20:50There's our tap

20:51So, now what we want to do is we want to

20:52see if we need to reduce our risk given

20:55the fact Oh, I just bought all the

20:56contracts back. Okay.

20:58Let's just close the trade. We're just

20:59going to trust that one on that. And

21:01we're going to go to the 1-minute time

21:02frame and we're going to see how we

21:03react to that untapped FFEG. Um if we

21:06break the high, then obviously we are

21:07validating to the upside. This is a

21:08valid entry to the upside right here.

21:10And we're actually given another

21:115-minute pointers. This is another

21:12beautiful opportunity to take a trade to

21:14the upside. Regular pointer at this

21:16point. If we have um

21:18good little

21:20uh inefficient break and move to the

21:22FFEG, we're going light contract size in

21:24this. We got weak pointers. So, we're

21:26going to go light contract size in this.

21:27Not an SMT. Targets at the untapped FFEG

21:30at EQ range. I like to go really really

21:32early on this just cuz it's always a

21:33good idea.

21:34>> [snorts]

21:34>> We have that little EQ line as an idea

21:37where, you know, we would expect price

21:38to consolidate somewhere in the range

21:39using these on taps. So, we're just

21:41going to play it safe. We're going to

21:42use this guy right here cuz as price

21:44develops, EQ range will narrow in. We're

21:46just going to take off two contracts at

21:48this untapped. It's very discretionary

21:50at that point. Um oh, whoops.

21:53Okay. [laughter]

21:54I guess the 5-minute didn't close or

21:55something.

21:56Um so, it doesn't matter. I don't know

21:57what that was.

21:59That was so weird. What was that? Okay,

22:02so this is a big sweep pointer. So, we

22:03wouldn't even done anything on that. So,

22:05this wouldn't have been a trade. There

22:06was There was no 5-minute pointer there.

22:07I guess I was behind on data or

22:09something. That was not an entry.

22:10Apologies. But we have a 5-minute

22:12reacting to those on taps. We're going

22:13to go and take this trade to the

22:14downside. We have a continuation mold to

22:16the downside.

22:17Take this to the downside. We're going

22:18to set another little target here.

22:21We're going to do this at the next

22:22untapped. These are targets. Obviously,

22:24if ES had some as well, I can't really

22:27check cuz I'm only on a laptop, but when

22:29we're doing our official back testing,

22:30we'll have both equities up at the same

22:32time. And we're going to do our best to

22:33kind of see where those on taps would

22:34be. So, if I got it wrong, I got it

22:36wrong.

22:37Um but we have that 5-minute sweep

22:38pointer or 5-minute pointer reacting to

22:40those uh on taps. We have a 5-minute

22:41sweep pointer here. So, now we need to

22:44use the sweep pointer reacting to a

22:45standard FFEG to see if we need to

22:47reduce our risk. Um at this point, we're

22:49getting consolidated data on the draw.

22:51Sell side sweep move higher, buy side

22:52sweep move lower. So, we're getting a

22:54little bit of a consolidated uh data on

22:55the draw. I'm going to reduce my risk a

22:56little bit just because not as fun to

22:59trade.

23:00I don't want to be in on a heavy loss

23:02here. There we go.

23:03Not any reason to add any extra

23:04contracts. I'm not going to do any trims

23:06because we are light contracts. So, I'm

23:07just going to wait on a uh pointer or

23:11whatever the [ __ ] may happen. So, this

23:13might have been news.

23:15Maybe not. There might have been a

23:15pointer.

23:16Uh

23:19Okay, there are many pointers to exit on

23:20here. Hope you guys realize all these

23:22pointers are valid exits. So, we would

23:24call this PO3 somewhere in there. $50

23:26loss, but we reduce our risk because we

23:27lowered our contract size. That's a

23:29technique. Basically just like kind of

23:30reading the market using that sweep

23:31pointer, the data on the sweep pointer

23:33to control your risk. At this point,

23:35we're PO3'd. We don't want to trade till

23:37we collect a new draw. That draw being

23:39the low. That draw being the high. Until

23:41then, we can take continuations, but

23:43we're already in a continuation that we

23:44missed. So, this may eat and we just

23:46have to kind of sit there and watch it.

23:47This is part of back testing, guys. Like

23:49this is chill.

23:50Okay. Good little continuation. This

23:52sucks though because

23:54even though we're not in the trade, you

23:55have to understand when uh you're

23:57looking at a continuation from

23:58consolidations, you want to make sure

23:59you can guarantee risk. This is a little

24:01bit sucky, right? Because we have these

24:02FFEGs here. Uh we did move to EQ range

24:05to the same EQ range. This is a little

24:06bit sucky cuz we have these FFEGs here.

24:07We can't guarantee risk. You know, you

24:09can throw a little light conies in here

24:10if you've got a buffer.

24:12You've got to use a little bit of

24:13discretion when you're trading. You got

24:14to understand that not everything can be

24:16perfect rules. You know, I understand

24:17people aren't going to execute

24:18perfectly, but use a little bit of

24:20discretion. If you have a big buffer,

24:21just take the pointer. Like at a certain

24:23point, if you have, you know, if you

24:24have 2K buffer, be a little bit you

24:26know, discretion about what you're

24:27taking. But if you have a 10K buffer,

24:28just [ __ ] take every pointer, dude.

24:30Like who cares, bro? Like it doesn't

24:31matter at a certain point. Like

24:33with my trading, bro, like what I'll do

24:35is I'll build a a big buffer by waiting

24:37for, you know, these perfect setups and

24:39then I just drag my nuts with every

24:40pointer cuz yeah, sometimes it sucks,

24:41but you can be way more like confident

24:43because sure you'll lose money, but the

24:45wins are always bigger than the losses.

24:46The reason why we worry about it in the

24:47beginning is because your drawdown is

24:48going to eat your dick. So, we got to be

24:50careful about that. So, this is totally

24:52fine if you want to take it, but

24:54we're going to avoid it. It's a 5-minute

24:55sweep pointer. You can use that data.

24:56Another 5-minute sweep pointer. Again,

24:58same context here. You want to use the

24:59data on the draw. What is good is we

25:02could have a transition here, right? We

25:03could have a additive trim move if we

25:05get a 1-minute and a 5-minute

25:07inefficient break. You got to think

25:08about these legs. What's holding back

25:10this leg, right? If we have like let's

25:12say this is a This was previously a

25:13bullish leg, right? Because it's an uh

25:15IFFEG, but basically you want to think

25:17about it. It's previous bullish order

25:19block. It's FFEG sets are in here. In

25:21order for this low to essentially

25:23dissolve and the order block to

25:25dissolve, the highest and lowest time

25:26frame FFEGs need to break for the whole

25:28thing to come crumbling down. I mean,

25:30all of them need to break for it to come

25:31crumbling down, but you get my point.

25:33So, you can use the highs of the sweep

25:35pointers to read that data. See how

25:37we're trading into those FFEGs. Very

25:39consolidated. I'm going to avoid this,

25:40right? We're already avoiding it from

25:41avoid, but it's still valid. Like it's

25:43still a pointer in the direction from an

25:45untapped. So, it's still a valid move.

25:47And there's your next move to the

25:48untapped. Like I said,

25:50we'll see if we get any pointers coming

25:51from that. Ooh, this is just not real,

25:53bro. Not a pointer.

25:55Guys, come on. Let's Let's apply a

25:57little bit of logic there. Not obviously

25:59a pointer.

26:00>> [laughter]

26:01>> Dude, is this Is this a pointer? Yes,

26:02it's a pointer, but brother, literally

26:04what is this wick? Crazy wick. Um Like I

26:08said, I'm not looking at news or

26:09anything. I'm just kind of

26:10free balling this one. Freeing the nip

26:11here.

26:13>> [sighs]

26:13>> Um

26:15Okay, there might be a pointer share

26:16between the equities. This is a

26:18untapped.

26:19Uh

26:20Ooh, wait. Is that a pointer?

26:22Oh, come on, bro. This might be one on

26:24like NQ or something, but I think I have

26:26a bunch of stuff drawn in NQ. So, there

26:27might be a move from this or not. So,

26:30we're not going to we're not going to

26:31take a risk on it. It might Sometimes

26:33the minis and micros are offset a little

26:35bit.

26:36Okay, so we are getting a pointer to the

26:38downside, but we're not getting a

26:39reaction or anything. So, we're not

26:40going to take this trade. This is a

26:41structural pointer, I believe. Unless we

26:43are. Ooh, okay. So, we would have to

26:45have the pointer be on ES though.

26:48We are reacting to that low. There we

26:51have pointers, but I would say this is

26:52PO3'd. We're going to go light contract

26:54size on this obviously. If we can do an

26:55additive trim, then this is valid. Can't

26:58really do an additive trim. I'm going to

26:59avoid this.

27:00I'm going to go ahead and avoid that.

27:02>> [snorts]

27:03>> Um we're going to see if we can get a

27:04continuation going on in there. Ooh,

27:06beautiful trade. Beautiful. Beautiful. I

27:08avoided it. I wouldn't have taken this.

27:10Um but totally fine from a macro

27:11perspective. I just worry about where it

27:13will land. I would rather take the risk

27:15on the continuation that would present

27:18that can guarantee me risk like this guy

27:19here. This is This is going to be good.

27:21I'm going to go ahead and go full

27:21contract size in this.

27:23Whoops, I just opened my calculator.

27:25We're going to go full contract size.

27:26This is an additive trim. What I'll do

27:28is I'll probably add an extra 10

27:29contracts on this. Set a limit order

27:30here at the low

27:32um for 10 contracts. We're going to move

27:33there as long as we don't have any

27:35nonsense on ES

27:37to worry about. Let's check ES.

27:40We might have some nonsense. Maybe not.

27:43Ooh, okay. Well,

27:45we're just going to pray.

27:46>> [laughter]

27:47>> Basically in real time, we would have to

27:49use ES to trim, but you get you get what

27:51I would do here.

27:52Um yeah, this is a beautiful trade.

27:54We'll see how this prints.

27:57Dude, literally so clean. I'm going to

27:59reduce my risk a little bit here

28:02because we're tapping into the on taps

28:03at EQ range. So, that one little

28:05transition uh netted us a rack or maybe

28:08not.

28:10400 500 bucks basically. That's fire. We

28:13liked it.

28:14We like that.

28:15At this point, we're just waiting for a

28:17pointer reacting to an untapped to get

28:19us out of the trade. We reduce our risk

28:21on the untapped uh at EQ range. Other

28:24than that, we're just chilling.

28:25>> [snorts]

28:27>> Um no pointer range control we could

28:29have added on, I don't think. Yeah.

28:31Actually, wait. No, there is

28:32technically.

28:33Oh, wait. No, never mind. Yeah, we're a

28:34little bit far off from there. Close,

28:36but no cigar.

28:37Beautiful [snorts] trade. Literally a

28:39fantastic trade. Not an SMT. Actually,

28:41we are trading in an SMT. ES took the

28:42high. So, we can actually set targets at

28:44the lows. Whoops.

28:46associated to the high. So, we have the

28:47high. We can set targets at the lows

28:49associated to the high. It's always a

28:50good idea. You can use it or its

28:52untapped FFEGs between either equity.

28:55It's very discretionary. Just gives you

28:56the option to be able to reduce your

28:58contract size.

28:59So, we're going to do that. We're going

29:00to see if NQ or ES has a better

29:03look to it. Um like a better way to take

29:06profit on those.

29:07Um there's no on taps. I would actually

29:09set my trim

29:10but uh at this low here on ES right here

29:12because we have that untapped. I like to

29:14use the FFEGs. It's always a good idea

29:15cuz you're going to respect the FFEG

29:16before you respect a high or low. It's

29:18kind of always what's going to happen.

29:19So, we're going to keep our limit order

29:21there, but we would want to use ES first

29:22and foremost. Not going to add any risk

29:24on this because we can't create a

29:26additive trim.

29:27Um

29:28we might get a pointer or something

29:30going on here. See, this is what I mean.

29:32See how we're using the FFEG before we

29:33respect the high or the low? This

29:35happens all the time. Let's see if ES

29:36took out that low

29:38if we would have done our trims in

29:39there. Exactly what I mean. This is

29:41literally bar for bar. This is bar for

29:43bar what I'm talking about. It's It's

29:45It's writing itself in real time. Uh

29:47another thing we could have done in here

29:48technique wise

29:50this is my bad since I'm kind of

29:51managing a bunch of things at once is we

29:53could have used this 5 minute swept

29:55pointer digging into these F F E G's

29:57using the low here to reduce our risk on

29:59the 1 minute time frame if we pulled

30:00back we could have lowered our contract

30:02size that's something we could have done

30:03in there. So in hindsight that's what we

30:05would have done. I am going to reduce my

30:07risk because that's what we would have

30:08done

30:09and then if there was a pointer before

30:10this then I would have done our full

30:11exit and there's our pointer right here

30:12so we're going to take our full exit

30:14before this even happened. So obviously

30:15a much more profit would have been

30:17generated from this short. It's just I

30:18was too late. We're going to take this

30:21off there.

30:22Okay, so we're already in an implied

30:23move so we're just going to have to wait

30:24man.

30:25Is what it is brother. Is what it is.

30:295 minute swept pointer. Not a fan of

30:31this 5 minute swept pointer. I mean same

30:33context from before 5 minute swept

30:34pointer on tap F F E G. We can use this

30:37right? But why do I not care about

30:39testing the swept pointer? Because at

30:41the end of the day we have to flip these

30:42guys. These are what's going to be more

30:43important in this test of the swept

30:45pointer. So I don't give a [ __ ] about

30:46the swept pointer. I don't care about

30:48the swept pointer. I'm not going to

30:49throw any crazy risk at that. Cuz you

30:51need [snorts] to break these in order

30:52for price to fail and boom there you go.

30:54That's how you avoid shitty pointers.

30:56Now this the upside has a lot of an

30:58easier opportunity with a swept pointer

30:59cuz all we have to do is flip the five

31:01or flip the four. So that's really it.

31:04But we have no untapped transition so

31:07nothing we can do.

31:08See move not sustained because there was

31:10no there's nothing to work with there.

31:12Same right here 5 minute swept pointer.

31:14There's that low being taken. We

31:16validate the swept pointer so this is

31:17currently the point of range of control.

31:19Right here boom boom boom.

31:22I'm geeking right now. Hopefully you

31:23guys are learning bro. Hopefully you

31:24guys are are are tapped into this [ __ ]

31:26I'm going crazy. There's your point of

31:28range of control. If we get a um

31:30a transition here it'll be it'll you

31:33know remove that point of range of

31:34control and there we go we have another

31:355 minute swept pointer continuation. I'm

31:37going to go and take this

31:39low contract size because it's swept

31:40pointer and then we'll use the swept

31:42pointer to de-risk our trade.

31:44Let's see [snorts] how we trade on this.

31:45We did pull away at first we'll see if

31:48we can break it. We need to break it in

31:49order to validate it and we can't create

31:50a pointer in that time and if we do

31:52it'll remove the point of range of

31:54control. We did technically break it so

31:57on that one equity. I hate how it does

31:58that. Okay, so we did break the swept

32:00pointer so this is currently a valid

32:02point of range of control.

32:03These are all valid.

32:05We'll just see how far this takes us.

32:07We have to kind of be careful between N

32:10N M N Q and E S cuz I don't know where

32:12the untaps are.

32:13It's just kind of a a little gamble

32:14there's an untap here at 698275.

32:17Um so we'll see.

32:21We'll see how we move here.

32:26Um

32:28a little bit choppy here at these lows.

32:29Pointer reacting to the F F E G not an

32:31untap F F E G so I'm not going to get

32:32out of this trade. They're oh we might

32:34have pulled down we might have created

32:36the untaps so I didn't even realize on a

32:38lower time frame on the other equity.

32:44I'm a smoking.

32:46Oh there's a 1 minute there was a 1

32:49minute right there. That pointer was

32:50right on that 1 minute untap. So our

32:52loss would have been a break even right

32:54here at that pointer. Totally fine.

32:56Tapping into that point of range of

32:57control. I don't think it's valid

32:58anymore cuz we had that that untap so

33:00not going to worry about that. Again

33:02we're going to avoid all this trading

33:03this is P O 3 now.

33:05Just a bunch of swept pointers of hell

33:06here. I don't care about them because we

33:08have these big F F E G's and not a lot

33:10of time. I don't care about this. I

33:11don't care. I don't these are not high

33:13quality trades. I'm going to avoid these

33:14at all costs.

33:16>> [snorts]

33:16>> Look at that. Boom.

33:18Boom boom boom. Not fun these are not

33:20fun trades to take and there's 350

33:22window anyway so we're not we're done.

33:24None of this is tradeable here just

33:25because of the 350 window. So we're

33:27going to do side of this.

33:28We're going to go ahead and move on to

33:29the next day. How long is this

33:30recording?

33:31About to become black real quick.

33:3330 minutes.

33:35Ooh.

33:36Okay, we'll do one more day.

33:38I feel like I'm showing a lot of

33:38techniques so far.

33:41I think I've done a pretty good job. I

33:42might make a separate video on some of

33:43the techniques but I wanted to do

33:45kind of give you guys a little bit of a

33:47view of MAC since a lot of you guys have

33:48just kind of been learning the concepts.

33:49You guys have seen it in action.

33:51Um

33:52Holy [ __ ] this is some crazy news I F F

33:55E G. Disregard those always.

33:57Um okay so 5 minute swept pointer 5

33:59minute pointer. Again if there's news we

34:01might get cooked. I I don't have no idea

34:02I'm not checking. 5 minute swept or 5

34:04minute pointer reacting to untap F F E

34:05G's. Check E S.

34:07Same exact look. Um be careful when

34:10you're taking a pointer into untaps

34:12right? In this case we're not so we're

34:14just going to take our full size but you

34:15got to be careful because if we're

34:16coming into these untaps you could see a

34:17crazy rejection you have to analyze the

34:20width of the loss you could take at

34:21minimum. So width of the loss we could

34:23take here is 85 points if we're tapping

34:25into an untap which we're not because

34:27this wick came in here and invalidated

34:28all these F F E G's. So we could create

34:31them but then we would have we would

34:33pull back into them and then react to

34:34them and get a lower loss. So we're

34:36always going to respect the pointer

34:37rules.

34:38>> [snorts]

34:38[laughter]

34:39>> Yo look at this. This is when the sizing

34:41eats. Correlated pointers on tap bro

34:44this is when the sizing eats. We're

34:46going to reduce our contract size on the

34:48untap F F E G. It's just always a good

34:49idea.

34:50Not by that much should have done like

34:52two or three. Whatever you want to do

34:53just do it consistently. Anything in

34:55here could be a valid reason to get out

34:57since we're reacting to those untaps.

34:59Think those that was a pointer. 5 minute

35:01swept pointer we can use that to reduce

35:03our risk. We'll check E S see what we

35:05look like.

35:06Um

35:08Man this is probably just one of those

35:09situations.

35:11Um dude that doesn't even look like a

35:13pointer. Like brother.

35:15Making my job hard. What on earth is

35:17that bro? No it's not.

35:21Come on.

35:23Bro.

35:24Come on. Okay 5 minute swept so we can

35:26use the swept to de-risk our trade.

35:28We're obviously late to that. If it

35:30created low time frame inefficiency then

35:31I would reduce my risk. I would also

35:33reduce the risk on the inefficient

35:34break. So we're going to reduce our risk

35:36a little bit. Secure some profits. Um

35:39we'll see if it ended up creating that F

35:41F E G. Did not create the F F E G. It

35:42might have been a point of range of

35:43control.

35:44On one of the equities.

35:47Another 5 minute swept pointer. We're

35:48going to use this one to reduce our risk

35:49as well cuz think about it right? What's

35:51holding back this move? These F F E G's

35:53and we're going to trade off this low

35:54and see how we react. Let's go to the 1

35:56minute time frame. Do we fail on those F

35:58F E G's? Let's see.

36:00We break the low we're going to leave

36:01this time frame and now we're just going

36:02to revert back to pointers. We might get

36:04a swept pointer again but so far it's

36:06still valid. Eating bro. Literally this

36:09is the sauciest video I made so far.

36:10Like holy [ __ ] And I won't [snorts]

36:12even get allegations of scamming and

36:14lying and cheating and larping because

36:16you saw me click the the [ __ ] wick in

36:18real time bro.

36:19I'll even show you there's nothing

36:20around me.

36:21Nothing around me. Okay?

36:24Practice what I preach. Okay?

36:285 minute pointer reacting to untaps

36:29there's our closure. Make it you make.

36:32That simple guys. It is literally that

36:34simple. So I don't know how much that

36:35day was but that was pretty [ __ ]

36:37good. Yeah this day is past your eval. I

36:39passed your eval in one day. Not bad at

36:41all literally not bad at all. Fantastic.

36:43Um if you have any questions in the

36:45comments below please leave them. I know

36:47it's a lot since a lot of you guys are

36:57Also if you guys don't know in the

36:58Discord let me see if I can pull it up

36:59on screen. This could be a little bit

37:01this could be some tech hold on.

37:03Give me a sec.

37:04How do I do this though?

37:06How I do it though? Where the Discord

37:08at?

37:09Where the Discord at?

37:10Dude I'm so black right now.

37:12Holy [ __ ]

37:14Okay take a look boys. Show you guys

37:16what we got going on. I'm as we're

37:18getting deeper into the MAC model I know

37:21that a lot of you guys are going to be

37:22back testing and be trading and have

37:23questions. I want you guys to know that

37:26we got this right here.

37:27Mink. Can you see this?

37:30You can't see me but just hear me.

37:31Listen to my voice. I'm going to guide

37:33you. So we have real tripper only chat

37:35here the indicator. You get access to

37:36this if you just connect your Discord to

37:37the indicator. Um there's a trade

37:39journal section where you can input your

37:40trade journals. There's tons of them in

37:42here and I actually go in here and reply

37:43to them personally and I'll kind of let

37:45you know what I'm thinking about all of

37:46them. Sometimes I don't get to all of

37:48them but I'll leave commentary on things

37:50that have open commentary. If it's

37:52you're doing something [ __ ] like

37:53right here.

37:54Kind of just giving you guys advice all

37:56types of stuff.

37:57So I don't know how many of these are

37:59there. There's a [ __ ] ton bro. There's

38:01so many. Same thing here we have um

38:03ask MAC research which I got to go

38:04through tomorrow. Um we have tons of

38:07questions that you can just directly ask

38:09me. It's the best way to you know ask me

38:10specific questions. Some people are

38:11[ __ ] okay? And then obviously the

38:13chat here which are people that are

38:14actively trading MAC to the greatest

38:16degree. So if you if you want use it. I

38:19will be using the people in here to um

38:22to

38:23bring on to videos. We're going to have

38:24calls with people. We're going to be

38:25doing all sorts of stuff. I want to

38:26involve you guys. But yeah I think

38:28that's it. I'm black right now. Let me

38:29let me go back to the Actually let's

38:31just end the video.

38:35me. Whatever.

38:36Enjoy. I'll see you guys later. Bye-bye.

38:38Oh [ __ ] I definitely said the end word

38:39there. Whatever.
