1:05on crutches now, able to take steps. And

1:08the next big step that is no crutches.

1:12>> I'm looking at probably real Well, I

1:15could like do it right now, but it's

1:17just not good to do it right now. So,

1:18probably like I'd say I I want to say a

1:20week or two.

1:20>> How is the adjustment been to this life?

1:24>> I will say it is the hardest thing I've

1:27ever went through in my life. Nothing

1:29could have prepared me for full knee

1:30reconstruction surgery. It's been It's

1:33been rough, to be honest. It sucks.

1:34>> Especially like such a young age, right?

1:36>> Yeah, no, it's terrible. The the um the

1:38surgery, the pain after the surgery, and

1:40then the physical therapy is like

1:42honestly probably the worst part. Yeah,

1:43it's not fun at all.

1:44>> So, what's like a day of physical

1:46therapy look like for you?

1:48>> So, I wake up probably like I'd say like

1:509:30. And then I have my physical

1:52therapist come to the house, puts like

1:54machines on me, like uh What is the

1:56machine that like makes your muscles

1:57like brr brr?

1:58>> [laughter]

1:59>> It's a uh ah ah

2:00>> you're I can picture it.

2:01>> you know what I'm talking about, right?

2:02>> Yeah, I can picture it.

2:02>> it on me cuz basically basically I got a

2:04quad graft surgery, so my my quad

2:07doesn't work anymore. So, I have to

2:08completely retrain the muscles in my

2:10leg. Then he'll just sit there and he'll

2:11like try to like bend it to like points

2:14where it can't bend to anymore just cuz

2:16you got to like break it up the the

2:18tissue and stuff. So, it's just a lot of

2:20like painful stuff. I did squats for the

2:21first time this morning.

2:22>> How many hours does that take?

2:24>> It's like an hour and a half a day.

2:25>> Okay.

2:25>> But then I also got to do stuff by

2:27myself throughout the day. It's just

2:28it's like a full-time job.

2:30>> Do you think you would have been this

2:30committed a few years ago? Like have you

2:32matured to the point where you're taking

2:33this [ __ ] as serious as possible?

2:35>> Mm.

2:35When you can't walk, it's like okay, I

2:37got to get up. I got to go to physical

2:39therapy.

2:40>> incentive.

2:40>> Like yeah, like I got I can't walk. I

2:42can't I can't wash myself in the shower

2:44and stand up. I can't put my clothes on.

2:46It's like all right, you got to do it.

2:47>> travel, right?

2:48>> Um

2:49>> Can you fly?

2:50>> Yeah, I think you can, but I haven't.

2:52>> Okay. Um I mean, that would be a pretty

2:54big part of the job.

2:55>> Yeah.

2:55>> So, what does Lacy's 2026 look like in

2:58your mind? What do you have coming up?

3:00What do you want to accomplish?

3:01>> The next big thing I have is I was just

3:03um on the a Netflix show called Sidemen

3:06Outside. Pretty sure by the time this is

3:08out, it'll be out. So, I'm not leaking

3:09anything, I don't think. But um yeah,

3:11they're they're going to announce that

3:12within the next few days. So, that's

3:13going to be a big thing that I'm like

3:16working for and doing content around

3:17because the whole show is like 7 days

3:20and that was a lot of fun. So, I'm going

3:21to be doing a lot of stream content

3:22around that. After I'm done with

3:24recovery hopefully back to traveling,

3:26going out of the country. Um going to

3:28Belgium, also going to London and then

3:31honestly, just going to kind of I kind

3:32of just play it by ear.

3:33>> So, you already shot that?

3:35>> Yeah, it's been shot for like 3 months.

3:37>> Okay, yeah. So, Netflix they like to

3:39edit it all, make it all perfect, right?

3:40Yeah, super professional. Got it. And

3:42you had a lot of fun.

3:43>> It was so much

3:44>> can't reveal like any detail at all.

3:46>> No, I can't really say much, but it was

3:48it was a lot of fun.

3:48>> What are your plans? You said you're

3:49going to do like these Sunday watch

3:51parties on audience. We have a big time

3:53NFL audience. I mean that's what I do.

3:55That's kind of been my thing is picking

3:57the game. So what do you have coming up?

3:58>> Yeah, so that started honestly last

4:00season. So I watched football my whole

4:01life. Huge fantasy guy, too. Two years

4:03ago is when I like I really started like

4:05streaming full-time and had a really

4:08hard time balancing like watching NFL

4:10Sundays and like the games and the

4:12primetime games cuz I would have to be

4:14live. So last year I started doing watch

4:17parties where I would just basically

4:18have my face on the screen, have a

4:20scoreboard under like just to show where

4:22it is, maybe like a live play-by-play in

4:23the corner and I just watch the game

4:25live with like my chat and they just

4:27went crazy. Like I'm talking 50, 60,000

4:30people and like there was a game, I

4:31forget which game it was. I think it was

4:33the Bears playoff game, the one where

4:34Caleb Williams

4:35was at like 70,000 viewers in that game.

4:37Just at the end of it just because

4:38people want to see like my reactions.

4:40It's also probably because I put a lot

4:41of money on the games. So they like to

4:43see if, you know, I lose money or make

4:45money.

4:46Um, but yeah, I'm definitely going to be

4:47doing those every single Sunday.

4:49Playoffs going to be huge. Got a lot of

4:51stuff playing for the NFL season.

4:52>> Yeah, are you going to do like big

4:53events or you just going to keep it to

4:55your

4:55>> I like to keep things in my community to

4:56be honest. I I'd probably for the Super

4:59Bowl I'll probably go all out and do

5:00something crazy. Maybe if the Steelers

5:02make the playoffs, but other than that

5:03I'll probably just stick to

5:05my stream.

5:07to like some like older people, like

5:10parents and stuff. Well, it starts with

5:12the the Mark Wahlberg thing.

5:17of a young guy like the kind of Mark

5:19idiot, you know? Like that's they don't

5:21understand and I'm trying to explain

5:22like no, he can just do anything and his

5:24audience kind of follow like he doesn't

5:25need that. Like it's just like some give

5:27and take there. So describe like what

5:30you do on a day-to-day basis with your

5:32audience and what they're tuning into

5:33and what they kind of like out of you

5:35and then what happened with Mark

5:36Wahlberg as well?

5:37>> I'm a I'm an idiot, I'm going to be

5:38honest. Like on a day-to-day basis it

5:40consists of me just like picking my

5:42nose, scratching my ass. Things people

5:45can relate to I feel like. Like we're

5:46all like let's be honest, we're all

5:47sitting in our room, middle of the

5:48night, watching a movie, scratching our

5:50butt cracks, and smelling our fingers,

5:51right? We're all doing that. So, I just

5:53feel like I'm more open about those kind

5:54of things. Um but, I definitely do also

5:57put a lot of effort into into my streams

5:59and content that I plan. There's 7 days

6:01in a week, I'm live all seven most of

6:02the time, about 8 to 10 hours a day, I'd

6:04say. Maybe

6:05three or four of the days, I have

6:07nothing planned, where it's just, okay,

6:09maybe I'll go live, just talk to the to

6:12my community, like

6:13>> And how many people are watching that,

6:14usually?

6:15>> When I'm not doing anything planned?

6:16Yeah. Probably like 12 to 15,000.

6:20Um and then, maybe I'll play some like

6:22video games with like with the chat,

6:24they'll watch me play, maybe I'll have

6:25like a challenge where uh I I like to do

6:27this thing where I game, and every time

6:29I die, I have to like take a hit of Just

6:31just basically just just me like showing

6:33my personality. Um

6:36and [clears throat] but then on the

6:37days, you know, then maybe there's a few

6:38days a week where I do have planned

6:39content. It might be a collab with

6:40another streamer. Maybe I'll have an

6:42athlete or a celebrity come on stream.

6:43Maybe I'll, you know, plan going on a

6:45trip

6:46out of out of the out of the country. Uh

6:48the Mark Wahlberg situation, it's just

6:50like

6:51and I get what people are saying, but

6:53the way I've always done my streams is,

6:56if I'm doing like a collaboration with

6:58someone, I want it to feel like genuine

7:00to me. I want it to be like, okay, you

7:02want to be here. We we talk beforehand,

7:05you know, we're we're we know what we're

7:06doing, and this one in specific, it was

7:10more of just like someone from his team

7:12contacted someone from my team. I had no

7:14contact with him at all. Had like very

7:16specific requests, like, oh, you have to

7:19watch this trailer, you have to talk

7:20about this movie. You only have 1 hour

7:22time limit, and then yeah, and then he's

7:24gone. And I was like, okay, well, can I

7:26do can we do this on stream? Uh no.

7:29Like just like like not letting me have

7:30the creative control on my stream.

7:32That's just not something I like to do.

7:33I I want to be able to do what I want to

7:35do, and I feel like if you let me create

7:38the way I create on my stream, like

7:39it'll be better for whatever they're

7:41trying to promote anyways. Like they

7:42were like just having him come on and

7:44talk about his movie and then saying,

7:46"Oh, you also have to have your friends

7:47that live in the house come on stream as

7:49well."

7:50>> That's a weird request, too.

7:51>> Right? It's like, "Okay, are you is it

7:53me that you really care about or no?"

7:55So, that's why I was just like, "All

7:57right, I'm just not going to do it."

7:58>> And they kind of we're trying to box you

7:59in and your audience kind of appreciates

8:01you when you're being your full

8:03authentic self.

8:04>> Yeah, like I'm not going to Yeah, I just

8:05it was it felt more it felt more like

8:07you have to do this, you have to do that

8:09in exchange for he'll come on your

8:10stream, which I get that's that's a way

8:11of business for a lot of people and

8:13probably for Mark as well because, you

8:15know, he's been doing it for so long.

8:16So, a lot of his stuff is just

8:18definitely business like, "Oh, I'll

8:19promote this and you guys get this." But

8:21me personally, it's just not how I like

8:23to run my business. So, that's all it

8:25was. Um but I definitely did get a

8:27little like I probably shouldn't have

8:28said it on stream at first, but when I

8:30saw like it all break down like in front

8:33of my eyes while I was live and I'm

8:34getting texts like, "Oh, like these

8:36rules." And I'm on stream getting these

8:37things and I'm like, "Okay, never mind.

8:39I just don't want to do

8:39>> I've been on stream I haven't done that

8:41many, but like I'll get hit up like

8:42something that happened in the stream

8:43and then I got to respond on the stream.

8:44It's kind of weird.

8:45>> I know that's exactly what it was. I was

8:47like I was just there and a bunch of

8:49stuff I saw a tweet. I was like, "Okay,

8:51wait a minute. I was supposed to do this

8:52on the same day." And then I get a text,

8:54"You have to have the core boys in the

8:55stream." And I'm like, "Okay."

8:57>> No, I would have aired that out, too.

8:59>> But now I have these whole this whole

9:00like generation of of people who

9:03obviously because Mark Wahlberg is like

9:04a acting legend.

9:05>> mom thinks you're a dumbass.

9:07>> I I I think I'm a dumbass. That's the

9:09thing. I know I'm a dumbass. That's just

9:11me. That's how I've always been.

9:26personal and I'm I'm going to be honest,

9:27he probably doesn't even know. Like I

9:28don't even think he knew he was doing a

9:30stream with me.

9:31>> Exactly. That's I doubt he even knew he

9:34was doing a stream with me.

9:35>> Bro, like and and you have a bunch of

9:36people in the middle it kind of

9:37convolutes everything and it's not

9:39really them, right? If you were talking

9:42"Do your thing, you know what I mean?"

12:14blew up. I didn't like the business

12:15practices so I took ownership of this

12:17podcast, kind of reformulated it with

12:20Marcus over there and uh now I like I'm

12:22head of the business, right? With him,

12:24you know, we we partner it, but it's a

12:26lot more responsibilities, but it's so

12:27much more fulfilling.

12:29>> And so many less things get convoluted

12:31and messed up when other people aren't

12:33>> Yeah. There's so much There's actually

12:34less stress doing more work.

12:36>> When we were first like trying to figure

12:38it all out, it was very stressful cuz

12:42it was like, "Okay, we just had If we If

12:44we had a YouTube shoot, all we had to do

12:46was show up." The If we showed up,

12:48everything was set up. We had the the

12:50creative was playing. We didn't even

12:51know what video we were shooting half

12:52the time. We would just show up and

12:53shoot it. It felt like a job, honestly.

12:55The very start getting things going like

12:57the the hardest thing that we had to do

13:00and because none of us have ever done

13:01this was opening a bank account.

13:04>> Never opened a bank

13:05>> Well, like for for our group.

13:07>> Yeah.

13:07>> Like

13:08>> That was the hardest part?

13:09>> figuring out like, "Oh, we got to make

13:10this a a business."

13:12>> Oh, yeah.

13:12>> Like this is a business bank account.

13:14Oh, now now all our YouTube revenue has

13:16to go into this bank account. So that

13:17was like That was like a hard part where

13:18we were like, "Okay, we got to sign

13:19these papers. We got to do this. We got

13:21[laughter] to do that."

13:22>> That doesn't sound that hard.

13:23>> No, but but when we're trying to all

13:25figure this out, it is. It was. And then

13:27we're we're trying to figure out oh, we

13:28got the YouTube now.

13:29>> Six of you couldn't do it that fast.

13:31>> I don't even think we ended up doing it.

13:33We had someone else [laughter] do it for

13:34us.

13:34>> I just like passed the

13:36the group bit. Well, I I would think it

13:38would go six ways.

13:40>> Well, yeah, but it was just like like

13:41then we had to get like the cards and

13:42stuff, like the business cards. Like the

13:45>> could be hard. I get it. Yeah.

14:09the best chef. Everything I've ever made

14:11turns out good.

14:14experience in the food category. Like

14:15I'm like an expertise when it comes to

20:57like a Twitch watcher, like a Fortnite

20:58watcher, and I only watched Clix and

21:00Aiden Ross. Those were the only two

21:01streamers I watched. I would like donate

21:03little like $5 messages to him and just

21:05like troll him and just like say some

21:06like something mean, like just a troll

21:08like if he died in the game I'd be like

21:09haha that's why you died. Like you suck

21:11or something like that and then got to a

21:13point where I was doing it so often his

21:15chat started to like recognize when I

21:17would donate and they would be like oh W

21:19Lacy and then eventually he invited me

21:21to play Fortnite with him and we played

21:23a game of Fortnite the clips went viral

21:25cuz I was posting my own clips of just

21:27me donating to him and they were doing

21:29like a couple hundred thousand views

21:31just me like donating. Played the clips

21:33got like a couple million views of us

21:34playing and then I started streaming.

24:27the subathon, living in a studio

24:29apartment. It was my first year

24:30streaming. I had no money to my name,

24:32and someone came in my chat, and my

24:35subathon was about to end. I wanted it

24:36to keep going. They said, "I'll donate

24:38you $3,000

24:40in gifts if you take a picture in a red

24:44in in a thong, and post it on Twitter."

24:47I negotiated a little bit, got it up to

24:494,000. $4,000. That's That was three

24:52That was 4 months of my rent at the

24:54time. I just moved to Dallas. I'm

24:56pursuing becoming a full-time streamer.

24:58I'm like, "Okay, this is a lot of money.

24:59This is more money than I'm seeing in a

25:00month."

25:03into a thong, put them on, took the

25:05picture, posted it, got my $4,000. Then

25:07the person refunded it.

25:40got refunded. So it all worked out in

25:42the end.

27:47So, growing up, my dad was very strict.

27:51A lot more strict than he is now,

27:52because obviously, like I said, it's

27:53it's developed into more of like a like

27:56yeah, he's obviously my dad, but like

27:57we're like he's like my friend. But,

27:59growing up, it was it was strict he was

28:01very strict in terms of he didn't want

28:04me on the computer. And I would be like

28:08playing Fortnite or playing a video

28:09game, playing 2K for 10 hours, 12 hours,

28:13sometimes 15 hours a day, just cooped up

28:15in my room. Some days I wouldn't even

28:16leave my room. And he was very strict on

28:19like

28:20you cannot like you've got to do

28:23something. Go go outside, go hang out

28:25with people, go go get a job. When I

28:28started to see a little success with the

28:30streaming, I had to make sure that I had

28:33something to show for it, if that makes

28:35sense. I couldn't just be like, "Dad, I

28:36want to drop out of college and pursue

28:38playing video games for a living." So, I

28:40did

28:41There's Thanksgiving. I think this was

28:432022

28:45or 2023 Thanksgiving. Everybody in my

28:48dorm went home for Thanksgiving and I

28:49stayed in my dorm. I was the only person

28:52everything the whole dorm was empty. It

28:53was dark except for my room. I did a

28:5614-day stream. So I was live for 14 days

29:00straight.

29:01And over the course of those 14 days due

29:03to a lot of factors, you know, it was

29:05TikTok's blowing up. Click Clicks rated

29:07me.

29:09Bunch of stuff. I got I made $33,000 two

29:13weeks. I skipped Thanksgiving with my

29:14family for it. I came home after

29:15Thanksgiving and I I showed my parents

29:18the $33,000 in my dashboard and first

29:21thing my dad said was where's the money?

29:23And I'm like

29:24how do I explain to him I get the money?

29:27It's not here yet, but I get it. He was

29:29like okay, well and then I that's when I

29:31brought up. I was like I want to drop

29:32out. I want cuz at that time I was

29:33averaging like 800 viewers on Twitch. I

29:35was like I want to take a I want to take

29:37a gap year try to take a break from

29:38college and focus on streaming full-time

29:40and go to Dallas. Surprisingly like I

29:42was very very surprised because they

29:45immediately supported me. I was also

29:46giving up a scholarship I had. $25,000

29:49per semester scholarship that I had

29:50which was like crazy because that was

29:53over half of what my tuition was.

29:55And they were just immediately

29:57supportive and they they were like yeah,

30:00you can do it. We we believe in you.

30:02Worst comes to worst you fail, you come

30:04back home and you go back to school. And

30:06I was just super surprised because I did

30:07not think that's how it would go. And

30:09then within the next week they were

30:10helping me sit down online looking at

30:13apartments in Dallas looking where to

30:14move to.

30:17all the Fortnite pros were going cuz

30:19ping. So I was Clicks told me move to

30:23Dallas. Let's like come here. So that's

30:25what I did. My mom drove with me and all

30:27my stuff all the way from Pennsylvania

30:30to Dallas. Helped me move in help me get

30:32my apartment set up and then within a

30:33month I moved out of that apartment cuz

30:35it was terrible. It was infested with

30:37bugs. It was like it was like $700 a

30:40month in Dallas and then I moved in with

30:42Clicks.

31:11iPad. And then my dad found the credit

31:15discussion. And then when he found out I

31:17was failing school, that was an even

31:19worse discussion. So yeah, everything

31:21got cooked, yeah.

33:18we were just sitting there and we were

33:20talking to our two other friends who he

33:23one is his name is TK. We came up with

33:26the idea of the keycap to put on a

33:28keyboard. Over time the collectible

33:30style kind of just came out of it. Like

33:32oh wait, we can make these kind of

33:34mystery boxes where if you pull this one

33:37it's very rare. It's like a collectible

33:39now.
