0:34beautiful day. Rain yesterday, expecting
0:37big rain tomorrow. So, this is our day

0:45transmission. means it goes straight in
0:49and passes through like an arrow passes
0:52through the bullseye and keeps on
0:57flying.
1:00Transmission, the casting of
1:04seeds, the cosmic
1:12timing. Mhm.
1:14You can hear the river singing.
1:24Oh, I had a suggestion
1:29for
1:30transmission called the inner
1:33guru and I had a transmission
1:40suggestion
1:42for the guru disciple relationship.
1:46So we can combine them and likely I will
1:49speak a lot about Maharaji and
1:52I speak about your heart and your
1:58way. Let us look at all of that while
2:02we're sitting above the
2:04forest, above the
2:07river, in the
2:09mountains, the
2:11Pyrenees
2:16together. I've had in my life, I've had
2:20four major
2:21teachers. Dr. Fred Woo at Ohio State
2:25University, Columbus,
2:29Ohio. He he lit the
2:33spark. And then Manley Ph. Hall, Mr.
2:39Paul, complex and marvelous human
2:43being James
2:45Schwarz who introduced me to
2:49India and my true guru my sat guru
2:53Maharaji Hansraji
2:59Maharaj when I was
3:02with any one of them I was dedicated to
3:06what was going on between us and
3:09dedicated to them because they inspired
3:13me. That's
3:15why they pointed me in the right
3:19direction.
3:21They
3:22insisted that
3:24I continue continue to hone the skills
3:29of Dr. Woo, Dr. Fred Woo Tai
3:34Chi and he was a very amazing human
3:38being, a
3:40biochemist teaching at Ohio State
3:45University. And then Mr.
3:48Hall, well, he was wonderful, Mr. Hall.
3:54I only got to meet him three
3:58times and
4:00yet we were in
4:03communication all of the
4:06time. And I was
4:09always told where he was, what he's
4:13doing, told when he passed, before it
4:15went into the papers, before it was
4:17announced.
4:21And then James Schwarz who took me to
4:24India taught me a lot was both very kind
4:29and very
4:30rough, very
4:32rough and extremely kind and taught me a
4:36lot about India and
4:39devotion and with all of his
4:42roughness I have a lot of respect for
4:46what was given to me which was my
4:50own, but he unwrapped it. He helped me
4:53unwrap
4:54it to reveal it. I have a lot of respect
4:57for
4:58him. Don't want to see him again, as
5:01I've said many
5:03times.
5:04Uh very harsh
5:08personality and very kind and very
5:11knowledgeable. And then it was he who
5:15led me to
5:16Rishies. And there I was to meet
5:19Maharaji, my satguru, the true guru of
5:22my life, the one that I would remain
5:26with. And as Maharaji said when I met
5:29him, he said this is a
5:33university. All other schools are
5:35finished. Yes, Maharaji.
5:40Really there's nothing that is outside
5:43of you in the sense that all that you
5:47experience comes from I
5:51am
5:53being I
5:55am and ultimately that's the inner
6:00guru that's what appears to be the
6:03exterior guru only appears to be
6:05exterior everything is within your
6:08experience loved ones s challenges
6:15nature. I never saw Maharaji as an
6:18exterior
6:20being. I always saw him from my own
6:25heart
6:27and that we were inseparably not
6:31two. That I for sure saw in the mirror
6:34of his heart from the mirror of my
6:36heart. And remember when you hold one
6:40mirror to another mirror where it goes.
6:43It goes into
6:45infinity. There's no end to where it
6:47could
6:48go. Just no
6:51end. So that's how I looked in his heart
6:54and that's likely how he looked into my
6:57heart as
6:59well. And that's how I look into your
7:01heart too because there is a master
7:06within your
7:08heart. Your heart being inseparable from
7:12your
7:13mind and your mind being inseparable
7:16from your
7:17heart. That's called the alchemical
7:21marriage. You can't think
7:24without reference
7:27to love's wisdom.
7:31And once the marriage is complete, you
7:34can only
7:35think from the place of loving
7:40wisdom. And you can only
7:43love from an openness of possibility.
7:47That's the alchemical
7:50marriage.
7:52And my sense is that you have that
7:56experience often.
8:00Perhaps you think what it looks like and
8:03then you will never know because
8:06you're
8:08deciding the way things should look
8:11where you need to go when really all you
8:15have to do is strip away that very idea.
8:19Mhm.
8:21The two masters meet in the
8:23heart. And the difference between the
8:27master such as
8:29Maharaji and the disciples such as
8:33myself would be that Maharaji never
8:37asked these questions
8:39anymore. And I was a disciple still
8:44forming the way things should look in
8:47me, right?
8:51He showed me that that was
8:54useless and I grew into that
8:58uselessness in my estimation through the
9:01grace of Satcha which was running
9:03through both of us like this river runs
9:06through the
9:09mountains. When you meet your guru, your
9:13master, which means your servant really,
9:17it is because your heart has called. The
9:19master within you has called, as Roomie
9:22would
9:23say, the
9:26friend. Mhm. The
9:29friend, not the friend like your
9:31neighbors friends or the ones you went
9:33to school with, but the
9:36friend who really knew
9:40you. Why? Because they knew
9:43themselves.
9:45Mhm. So, it's a deeper kind of
9:47knowledge, isn't it? It's that
9:50alchemical I cannot think. I can only
9:54use my
9:55mind truly rooted in the heart of
10:00wisdom. I can only love
10:03openly and freely. We're not talking
10:06about
10:08sexuality. We're speaking
10:10about whatever it is that you experience
10:13love
10:17as. The inner guru is the one who
10:22hankers
10:25who
10:27desires living in
10:29love,
10:31being
10:34love, being open-minded.
10:41That one within you has called the
10:44master servant, the
10:49friend who has just completely taken a
10:51seat in your
10:53heart and inspires that inner master
10:57within
10:58you that serves the world in the way
11:02that they are
11:07being. And
11:11is with a person as they make the
11:15journey.
11:17Inseparable. Two
11:19mirrors facing each
11:21other moving into infinity in both
11:25ways. You look in either mirror, you
11:28will see
11:29infinity. When two hearts are
11:33befriended, I rarely use the word
11:36friend in terms of my relationships
11:41with
11:43SA and that is because Maharaji was very
11:47clear. If you get too close to people in
11:51a friendly manner, he would say, it will
11:55not feed the flame.
11:58When you are fully in a state of divine
12:02love with that
12:03person, then it
12:06works because friends and family,
12:09there's a mechanism in the brain that
12:11just turns off and really just turns off
12:17anyhow. And yet the the heart is in
12:20communication is in
12:23communion.
12:25Union. Mhm.
12:29However, I will speak the word
12:31friend this
12:34time because of sage room and
12:39shams. Out of that relationship came the
12:44whirling
12:45dervish poetry that lifts the
12:49world. A love that was so deep is so
12:53deep that nothing could splinter it.
12:57Nothing could shatter
13:00it. That's the relationship between guru
13:03and
13:06disciple. Remember that guru is a
13:09Sanskrit word. Guru meaning darkness, Ru
13:12meaning light.
13:14and the thread of
13:17centeredness within those pairs of
13:20opposites which
13:22is divine wisdom
13:27love. So everyone has the guru has the
13:32dark light.
13:46Take me from darkness to light, from the
13:49darkness of ignorance to light of wisdom
13:52and from poison to nectar. And that's
13:55the
13:57relationship relationship and it could
14:00be re Maharaji said I've been waiting
14:02for you for 40 I think he said 43 44
14:05years 42 years something like that and I
14:09was
14:1138 I've been waiting for
14:14you me too
14:17Maharaji and it's been a glorious way
14:20all the way to you I have met really
14:23good people who've led me to you. The
14:27inner guru is the
14:30one that has the eye of totality,
14:36equinimity, not
14:38equality, equinimity where
14:41everything
14:45everything has been brought
14:48into experience.
14:53through what we could say is
14:55love. As I look at the forest, as I look
14:58at the river, as I watch the car
15:00passing, as I feel the breeze passing
15:03the
15:05cheek, the inner
15:08guru is beckoning one to
15:14love
15:17wisely
15:19openhearted alchemical marriage.
15:25And when one
15:27will, the master is present, the master
15:30has
15:31emerged. And my sense is again that that
15:35happens many, many times in your life.
15:38Maybe even many times in a week, in a
15:43month, going
15:45unnoticed, which is fine because really
15:48we come to a place where it is
15:51completely unnoticed. It's just the
15:53natural way to
15:55live. But then we
16:00meet we meet the times when we doubt and
16:05we bicker with ourselves and complain
16:09about our life and other and that just
16:11happens. Okay. And yet we don't want to
16:15live there. We don't want to live there.
16:20Then the guru goes within the cave of
16:24the heart sits in samadei while one is
16:29complaining and meditating that that
16:32will stop and then when it does the
16:35master emerges again.
16:39Every time that one is being love, is
16:43being kindness, is being generosity, is
16:47being
16:48wisdom, and that's so
16:51often really it
16:54is. Then the master
16:57emerges out of the
16:59cave and is being
17:04alive and your guru, your master
17:09servant,
17:10friend in a different
17:13way
17:15lives to meet the master within you that
17:20has
17:21emerged and is very compassionate and
17:24loving. When that master has receded to
17:27the cave for meditation, getting in
17:30there
17:31attempting
17:34to enhance the fire of your
17:40love. Just an
17:42analogy, just a picture.
17:45You know when I first met Maharaji I
17:47came up to him face to face eye to eye
17:51and I said I want to be exactly like
17:55you and he said you will
17:58be and you know it was the mirrors
18:03automatically taking place reflecting
18:06into each other. The heart is a flawless
18:10mirror, the guru
18:14within, the master within every every
18:18soul. And perhaps some souls will have
18:21to live many lifetimes to even know that
18:25that is there because they're taken by
18:29the world. They're taken by the money.
18:31They're taken by the status. They're
18:33taken by the by the relationships.
18:36They're taken by what other people say.
18:39They're taken by the people at work.
18:41They're taken and they don't even
18:45recognize. There are some people on
18:48earth definitely who do not
18:51recognize that there's a living master
18:54of love in their heart that
18:57fundamentally guides
18:59them. And nature is the inspiration.
19:02Nature can be the guru. The river can be
19:05the
19:07guru. Whatever
19:09is relieving the darkness of ignorance.
19:13Ignorance meaning I am a body. I am a
19:16mind. I am my thoughts. I am my
19:19emotions. I totally reject all of this
19:22light of
19:24wisdom. That's called ignorance.
19:31and the light of wisdom meaning that you
19:35can
19:36see and what you're always what the guru
19:40always
19:43sees is that infinite reflective
19:48mirror between two flawless
19:53hearts. Now, if you take what I say and
19:56go, "Well, my heart isn't flawless.
19:58I It
20:01is." Your ideas about anything can make
20:05it look like it's not, but it
20:09is. The inner guru is the ultimate
20:14guide. The ultimate guide is the inner
20:17guru.
20:24And the
20:27friend is in the life
20:30to encourage,
20:33bless,
20:36direct,
20:39acknowledge that the master is within
20:42you in your
20:44heart. right there, married
20:48to an open mind that sees beyond its own
20:54ideas of duality and
20:59division. Mhm.
