0:00One Nation doesn't only have the

0:01coalition rattled, they're now

0:03unsettling labor. And in response, labor

0:06is taking the low road of abuse and

0:08denigration, and they're treating voters

0:11like fools. Who could believe the Prime

0:13Minister would have the gall to say

0:15this?

0:16>> Across the world, hard-right populists

0:18are on the march.

0:20Peddling politics that is dangerous,

0:22divisive, and downright dishonest.

0:26>> Now, I'll come back to that word

0:27dangerous. I mean, this is a Prime

0:29Minister who ignored warnings about

0:31anti-Semitism and Islamist extremism for

0:34more than 2 years before the nation's

0:36worst ever terror attack at Bondi. Yet,

0:39he dares to call other politicians

0:41dangerous.

0:42Incredible.

0:44But also, he says One Nation and others

0:46are downright dishonest.

0:48That's how stupid Anthony Albanese

0:50thinks voters are. The man who said he

0:52wouldn't touch negative gearing and

0:54capital gains tax says One Nation is

0:57dishonest.

0:58The man who pledged to reduce your power

1:00bills by $275 a year says One Nation is

1:05dishonest.

1:06The man who said he did not fall off a

1:09stage, the man who claims he never made

1:13a crude melons joke, well, he says One

1:16Nation is dishonest.

1:19The man who said this,

1:21>> I've

1:22always been a man of my word.

1:24And and I believe that when you go to an

1:28election and you make commitments, you

1:31should stick to them.

1:33>> Yeah, that man dares to dismiss his

1:35political rivals as dishonest.

1:39I mean, just listen to him.

1:41>> They'll say anything and do anything to

1:42win votes. Bend any facts, peddle

1:44misinformation

1:46and disinformation.

1:48>> Say [snorts] and do anything to win

1:50votes? That'll be a proposition that

1:51Albanese at least understands.

1:54But it does get worse than that, as I

1:56foreshadowed. After One Nation rocked

1:58the ALP on the weekend by winning the

2:00previously safe Labor seat of Secret

2:03Harbour in that Western Australian state

2:05by-election, the federal government has

2:07switched to attack mode.

2:09>> Here I mean the threat to our country

2:11and its cohesion, its people and our

2:14economy posed by a dangerous and

2:16divisive coalition of chaos.

2:20>> One Nation has leader seeks to divide

2:23Australians and talks Australia down

2:27whether she is here or overseas peddling

2:31politics that is dangerous.

2:34>> Dangerous, [snorts]

2:35divisive, a threat.

2:38This is the language that Labor invokes.

2:41Pauline Hanson has hit back at this

2:43claiming the demonization of One Nation

2:45could lead to political violence.

2:48>> Yes, he is. You know,

2:50he's never called anyone else out as

2:53being dangerous, you know, and you know,

2:55a lot of people are in fear of what they

2:57don't understand and they've been

2:59misled about the truth about One Nation.

3:01It's happening constantly all the time

3:03in the schools and universities and the

3:05incitement that is happening is through

3:07our educational system and our Prime

3:09Minister who should know better than

3:11that.

3:12>> Now, this is a serious issue. Soon after

3:15that exchange, Hanson posted this photo

3:18of graffiti in Bendigo. "Kill Pauline

3:21Hanson", it says. And in my News 24

3:23documentary, The Fight for the Right

3:25last week, I showed you the rowdy

3:27protest targeting One Nation and Hanson

3:31and the staggering level of police

3:33protection required for a simple One

3:35Nation media conference. And Hanson

3:38spoke about security.

3:40>> Do you fear for your personal safety?

3:42>> No.

3:43>> Why not?

3:45>> I don't fear for it. I've um

3:48I'm concerned in certain parts areas

3:50that I I won't go in certain parts of

3:54Australia, by all means, but that's

3:56that's not unlike many other

3:58Australians, actually.

3:59>> of this in this country you won't go.

4:01>> Yeah.

4:02>> Where?

4:03>> Streets of Melbourne here.

4:05You see, every time I come down here,

4:07the the protest, and you see it you've

4:09seen it on the streets here. The

4:11viciousness, the nastiness, we've seen

4:14that, you know? And they've called last

4:16time I was here death, you know?

4:19>> These are polarizing times in politics.

4:22Albanese and Labor love to talk about

4:25lowering the temperature in politics,

4:27but they never do it. They love to dial

4:30up the animosity against their

4:31opponents. What they mean, I suppose,

4:34when they say lower the temperature

4:36is go easy on them.

4:38>> Parties like One Nation have no serious

4:40answers

4:42to problems. It is obvious that One

4:45Nation are not on the side of working

4:46people.

4:49>> The audacity of this bloke. He's made

4:51working families poorer,

4:53rents higher, homes harder to buy,

4:56electricity prices higher, taxes higher,

4:59debt higher, inflation higher, the cost

5:02of living higher, and he says it's One

5:04Nation that's not on the side of working

5:06people.

5:07Honestly, if I can use that word around

5:09the Prime Minister, honestly,

5:12he couldn't do more to boost One Nation

5:15if he tried.
