0:00The Labour Party are in utter shambles

0:03and they are absolutely terrified of

0:05what has just happened because one of

0:07the ex-commanders of the Special Air

0:09Service, the SAS, and the leader of a

0:12charity which manages and fights for the

0:15interests of our special forces

0:17personnel, he's just come out

0:19essentially calling this Labour Party,

0:21this Labour government, and Andy Burnham

0:23directly traitors and cowards who are

0:26actively betraying not only our country

0:28but our armed forces and our special

0:30forces servicemen as well. Now, if you

0:32want the news the legacy media won't

0:34show you, like and comment under this

1:00SAS chief, "Army witch hunts are putting

1:03Britain at risk. Special forces

1:05recruitment is suffering as a result of

1:07endless legal actions against soldiers",

1:10warns a former Special Air Service

1:12Brigadier. This is the man in question

1:15who's come out and spoken. He's called

1:17Ed But- Ed Butler. He is a former, a

1:20retired now, Special Air Service

1:22Brigadier, and he's the first head of

1:24its regimental association, essentially

1:26like a charity to fight for their

1:27interests, and he's just given an

1:29interview where he essentially calls the

1:31Labour Party traitors and cowards.

1:34"Witch hunts against British special

1:35forces put the country at risk from

1:37Russia", the head of the association

1:39that represents SAS soldiers has warned.

1:42Brigadier Edward Butler, a former

1:44commanding officer of the 22nd SAS, said

1:47that recruitment into the elite unit was

1:48suffering as a result of repeated legal

1:50action against its members, weakening

1:52its ability to keep the country safe.

1:55Mr. Butler, the new president of the SAS

1:57Regimental Association, accused the

1:59government of not having the backs of

2:01personnel and warned it was seriously

2:03damaging morale amongst serving troops.

2:05In the first interview by the head of

2:07this organization, Mr. Butler said the

2:09association was prepared to take legal

2:11action against the government to protect

2:13soldiers who served in Northern Ireland

2:15from prosecution under Labour's and

2:17Burnham's Troubles Act and was

2:19instigating steps to raise a fighting

2:21fund. You heard that correctly. Our own

2:24special forces charity are going to sue

2:28our own government for attacking our own

2:31service personnel. This is utterly

2:34pathetic that it's come to this, but

2:36it's good news that finally they're

2:38standing up and that they're getting the

2:40media attention they need as well. When

2:42details of this fighting fund have been

2:44released or announced, if there is a way

2:46for us ordinary people to donate, I will

2:49of course donate myself and make a video

2:51showing you how you can donate, too.

2:54Ed Butler also attacked the use of human

2:56rights law to pursue soldiers for their

2:58actions on the battlefield as Andy

3:00Burnham is preparing to bring the

3:02Northern Ireland Troubles Bill back

3:04before Parliament within just days as

3:06part of efforts to find, quote, "answers

3:08for the families of those who died

3:10during the conflict," essentially

3:12opening up the Troubles once again and

3:14putting British Army armed services

3:17personnel into prison. There are fears

3:20among members of the armed forces that

3:21the bill will reignite efforts to

3:23prosecute innocent soldiers for their

3:24actions in the Troubles from decades

3:26ago. Mr. Burnham is under pressure to

3:29scrap the bill entirely. So, why doesn't

3:31he just damn well scrap it then? What

3:33can he possibly gain from this? This is

3:35the problem with the Labour Party and

3:37it's the example it's an example of why,

3:39no matter what they do, no matter how

3:41well Andy Burnham might do on TikTok or

3:44on YouTube or when he speaks to normal

3:46people in interviews, he's still going

3:48to fail as a prime minister because he

3:50is fundamentally out of touch with

3:52British people. British people do not

3:55want those who served in our armed

3:57forces to suffer legal attacks from

4:00left-wing globalist human rights lawyers

4:02trying to put them in prison for doing

4:04their job and for doing what they were

4:05sent on missions to do. If anyone is to

4:08suffer from the actions of those

4:10officers, it ought to be the politicians

4:12who ordered those servicemen to do what

4:14they did, not the servicemen who are

4:16just doing their jobs. Andy Burnham is

4:19so dense, so stupid, and so arrogant

4:22that he can't even see this. And so he's

4:25still planning to put forward this bill

4:26despite the fact there is literally

4:29nothing to gain by it. All it will do is

4:32make the country realize, "Oh, hang on.

4:34Andy Burnham is just the same as Keir

4:36Starmer, isn't he? He also hates Britain

4:38and he also hates our armed forces."

4:41Oh, he isn't that different at all, is

4:42he?

4:43He's an idiot and this is going to

4:45destroy his polling.

4:46On top of that, members of the Labour

4:48Party themselves are even standing up

4:50and saying, "Don't do this." including

4:52Al Khan, who was the former Armed Forces

4:55Minister just a couple of months ago. He

4:56was Armed Forces Minister under Keir

4:58Starmer and he himself has a huge amount

5:01of experience within British Special

5:03Forces. He warned on Monday that this

5:05Troubles Bill could place British

5:07veterans in endless legal jeopardy. But

5:10of course Andy Burnham doesn't care. He

5:12hasn't given Al Khan a job. Why? Because

5:14Al Khan is terrifying to Andy Burnham

5:16because he's an actual patriot.

5:19Mr. Butler warned that some soldiers

5:21were deciding not to even apply for SAS

5:23selection because of lawfare and

5:25concerns about the persecution of

5:26soldiers after more recent operations.

5:28He said the very worst-case scenario is

5:30you have a completely whittled down

5:32Special Forces capability because no one

5:34would be prepared to join it and do

5:36these high-risk, high-return operations

5:38if their back isn't covered. It's not

5:40just a Special Forces thing. It's across

5:42the entire Armed Forces. If it gets

5:44worse, this will will very detrimental

5:46to national security. Essentially, why

5:48would anyone join the army or sign up to

5:51fight if they know that they aren't

5:53expecting a medal and a great big hug

5:55and a congratulations and a party when

5:56they come back home from overseas after

5:58risking their lives for their country.

6:00They're actually facing lawyers and

6:01police kicking down their doors and

6:03arresting them for violating the human

6:05rights of terrorists with guns and

6:07bombs.

6:09Mr. Butler spoke out amid fears that

6:11Russia could be preparing to test NATO.

6:14Last week, Russian foreign ministry

6:15spokesman said Britain and France were

6:17playing with fire by supporting Ukraine.

6:19Western intelligence officials have

6:20warned that Putin is waging a sabotage

6:22campaign and there is a risk of a

6:24miscalculation that could lead to a

6:27conflict. Mr. Butler, who was accused of

6:29murder in 2012 over his work in Northern

6:31Ireland before Kelp caught through the

6:33case out, said that the SES was a

6:35crucial part of Britain's defense, but

6:37that ministers were letting it down. So,

6:39Ed Butler, a brigadier of the SES and

6:41now head of the Special Air Service

6:44Association organization, right? This

6:46charity that basically works to protect

6:47their interest. He's been targeted and a

6:49victim of these witch hunts himself.

6:52Lawyers basically hounded him and

6:54destroyed his life for a year until the

6:56case went to court and the judge went,

6:57"Oh, no. This is ridiculous. Stop

6:59attacking and harassing this innocent

7:01man." And now the government are trying

7:02to expand the powers that allow for

7:05these men to be attacked like this.

7:07Speaking to the Telegraph, he said, "I

7:09think there's quite a serious question

7:11about the trust between the state of the

7:13between the state, the government, and

7:14the armed forces and quite how far that

7:16has been breached. Has the government

7:18got the special forces and SAS

7:20communities' backs? I think it's very

7:21questionable." His intervention is the

7:23first time a head of the Special Air

7:26Service Regimental Association has

7:27publicly attacked the government and is

7:29being seen as a warning shot to the

7:31Prime Minister from the SAS. The

7:33dramatic shift represents the deepening

7:35level of concern within the UK's closely

7:37knit special forces community over the

7:39Troubles Bill and the ongoing Heddon

7:42Cave inquiry into alleged killings by

7:44the SAS in Afghanistan.

7:46We're really serious about this because

7:48you're failing you're failing to

7:50recognize that you've got to have the

7:51backs of your servicemen and women. He

7:54was awarded the distinguished order uh

7:56service order in 2002 as well, basically

7:58a medal for good service. Has trust been

8:01broken? I don't think there is far to go

8:03before it is. Remember, trust goes both

8:05ways. And if you want to maintain the

8:07world's premier special forces

8:08organization, you've got to look after

8:10it. Mr. Butler was critical of the use

8:12of human rights law to prosecute

8:13soldiers operating in combat

8:14environments. He said soldiers were uh

8:17pursued through the prism of human

8:18rights law as opposed to the law of

8:20armed conflict and the rules of

8:22engagement from the Geneva Convention,

8:23describing this as totally inappropriate

8:25for armed conflict. Essentially, what

8:27the Labour government want to do is they

8:29want to make it legal to sue and put

8:32soldiers in prison for violating laws

8:34that you or I would normally have to

8:36follow. Like if you or I went out on a

8:38night out and saw someone with a gun, uh

8:41maybe a toy or something, and punched

8:42him in the face, well, guess what? We

8:44would go to prison because it wasn't a

8:45real gun. If that were a war, however, a

8:48soldier would shoot that person and it

8:50would be perfectly lawful under the

8:52Geneva Convention. But Labour and Andy

8:54Burnham want that soldier in that

8:56hypothetical uh situation to go to

8:58prison instead. They essentially are

9:01terrified of the idea of us having an

9:03armed forces because then that armed

9:05forces will be able to stand up against

9:07an evil tyrannical socialist government.

9:09So, they're trying to defang our armed

9:11forces and make them completely harmless

9:14so that there's never a risk of a Fabian

9:17communist or socialist government facing

9:19an uprising from within our own country.
