0:00hi sup guys my name's obvious I'm

0:10currently a chemical engineer

0:11undergraduate University of Manchester

0:13and then she got an internship at BMW

0:16lined up the application versus was a

0:19couple stages first stage was you know

0:20initially you apply CV and you write

0:23covering that too as well and the second

0:25stage is a telephone interview the third

0:27one be in the video interview and those

0:29are the stages and at the end you get

0:31told you feel successful sometimes you

0:34get put in the waiting list too but I

0:36think is really important for engineers

0:39that you really put themselves out there

0:40and get these internships because when

0:42you think about being employable

0:44companies want to know that whatever

0:48you've learned whatever you've you know

0:49got from a degree that's all good

0:51academics a good that you can have those

0:54qualification and they know that you

0:55know the knowledge but you get an

0:57internship is actually improving that

1:00you know what you know and it can

1:01actually make a difference

1:05some of my tips for success for an

1:07interview

1:08tip number one I say be consistent

1:11really it's a really lengthy process you

1:13have to apply to many companies the

1:14competition is awesome right

1:16tip number two I'd say is prepare just

1:20literally put yourself out there in the

1:23position that that you'll always always

1:26have an edge over like your competition

1:27because it's a lot of fun addition right

1:30now as it is so really what I say is go

1:34out there look at seminars look at

1:35different research that people are doing

1:38really find out what's actually going on

1:40in your field so tip number three is

1:42something to do I would say with the

1:44cover letter and actually writing up

1:45your answer to their questions

1:48we'll cover now you we don't want to be

1:50that but that letter which is literally

1:54boring is lychee him saying you know

1:55present saying him her saying and this

1:57on that interest here passion there

1:59really what you want to do is do your

2:01research into the company and really

2:03develop what they do and why you think

2:06that would actually be helpful for you

2:07to to work with in the future and what

2:10really stimulates you and in those words

2:12is actually away from to prove your

2:14passion so instead you say I'm

2:16interested and passionate proven

2:18research and put that into your letter

2:20and that already proves it for you so

2:22that would be my third tip my name is

2:24obvious and I'm Bart a student and

2:26square network hey guys thanks for

2:32watching don't forget to like and share
