0:02the adults scan the territory for food.

0:07The forest is full of deer.

0:11They can be twice as tall and many times heavier

0:14than a single dhole.

0:17But if they work as a team,

0:19the pack can take them down.

0:24And the dholes can use the dense forest

0:27to turn the odds in their favor.

0:33A male chital with large antlers is more likely

0:36to get tangled in the thickets.

0:42The dholes edge closer,

0:44talking to each other to coordinate their attack.

0:49But their high frequency calls don't travel far.
