0:18I'm telling you, man, that barbecue
0:20sauce changed me.
0:21>> It was barbecue sauce.
0:23>> No, no, it was an experience. The smoked
0:26paprika was really interesting, and I
0:29think there was molasses
0:30>> You analyzing lunch now, too?
0:34>> We should probably move. We got combat
0:36training in 20 minutes.
0:38>> Training ground gamma, right?
0:40>> Yeah. Automaton combat drills.
0:43>> They upgraded the battle units over
0:45summer. Apparently, the support course
0:47redesigned the targeting system so they
0:48can adapt to individual combat patterns,
0:51which sounds totally awesome.
0:53>> Which means they finally might last
0:54longer than 30 seconds.
1:02Come on, Sparkler. Girls' locker room is
1:04past the stairwell.
1:06>> I can show her the way.
1:07>> No, Deku. You won't.
1:10>> Gotcha.
1:12>> We'll meet these idiots at gamma.
1:14>> We'll save you to a spot.
1:16>> A spot? It's combat training, not a damn
1:19picnic, Deku.
1:21>> See you there.
1:24Don't be late.
1:29>> You ate enough?
1:31>> Yeah, yeah. I saw the sampler plate.
1:35>> I also saw you spend 10 minutes talking
1:37instead of eating half of it.
1:43Your training uniform should already be
1:44in your locker. Yeah, your Rozu probably
1:47checked it three times.
1:49And if the sizing's wrong, tell support
1:51before you try to fight in it.
1:53Last thing you need is some loose strap
1:55catching you while you're throwing those
1:56plasmoids around.
2:04There.
2:05Girls' locker rooms are
2:09>> Attention students. Due to an unexpected
2:12technical malfunction affecting the
2:14autonomous combat units, all training
2:16exercises in training grounds beta,
2:19gamma, and delta are canceled until
2:21further notice.
2:22>> Oh, you've got to be kidding me.
2:25>> Support course personnel are currently
2:26investigating the cause of the sudden
2:28system-wide glitch. Students are advised
2:31not to approach, activate, or interact
2:33with any autonomous training units until
2:35further inspection is complete.
2:37There is no indication of a wider campus
2:39security concern at this time. Further
2:41instructions will be provided by your
2:43homeroom instructors.
2:47>> [sighs]
2:48>> Of course.
2:49First real training session you get with
2:51us and the damn robots decide to crap
2:53out.
2:56No, I'm not disappointed because I
2:58wanted to show off.
2:59I wanted to see what you could actually
3:01do.
3:06Stop your smiling.
3:10Huh?
3:14That's a text from Aizawa.
3:16Return to dormitory area and wait for
3:18revised afternoon instructions.
3:21Oh, fantastic. An entire afternoon of
3:24sitting around.
3:27Come on. No point in changing now.
3:35Oh, yeah. Support will figure it out.
3:38They've got Hatsume over there.
3:40Either she fixes them or somehow gives
3:42the robots jet engines.
3:47That's still weird, though.
3:49The automaton systems aren't all linked.
3:52not completely.
3:53Gamma uses the newer units. Beta still
3:55has half the old combat models.
3:58Delta's mostly rescue simulations.
4:01For all three grounds to GLITCH AT ONCE.
4:03>> BAKUGO, KAMINARI, STAR.
4:07>> Where the hell are those idiots running?
4:13>> I saw what just updated us.
4:16>> Yeah, we know. Training's canceled.
4:18>> Uh not that part. Uh the other part.
4:21>> What other part?
4:23>> A beach day, BAKU-BRO.
4:25>> WHAT?
4:26>> YEAH.
4:27>> No way in hell Eraser Head said beach
4:30day.
4:30>> Uh not exactly. Since our training block
4:33is unusable and tomorrow's evaluation is
4:35delayed for equipment recalibration,
4:37Aizawa said Class A has the afternoon
4:39free. Bro, we haven't had a real free
4:42afternoon together in ages. We're being
4:44allowed to use the supervised training
4:46beach near Mustafu. You've never seen a
4:48Japanese beach, have you, Star?
4:53Bus is leaving in 35 minutes. We change,
4:55grab towels, sunscreen, whatever else we
4:57need, and meet out front.
4:59>> You should probably grab something
5:00comfortable. It's pretty warm today.
5:03Swimsuit, too.
5:04>> She knows how beaches work, shitty hair.
5:07>> Right, right. Beach clothes, dorms, 35
5:10minutes.
5:11>> We should probably hurry.
5:12>> Race you.
5:13>> Hiroshima, just too late.
5:15>> HEY, WAIT UP.
5:19>> IDIOTS.
5:22WELL, come on, Sparkler. You heard him.
5:25Apparently, we're going to the damn
5:26beach.
5:32>> Sunscreen, check.
5:34Towels,
5:35check. Beatbox, check. Volleyball,
5:39check. Drinks, multiple bottles, first
5:42aid, Aizawa has first aid, snacks, I
5:46brought some. Midoriya, what? You are
5:49the best beach wife. What?
5:52>> If you two don't shut up, I'm going to
5:54throw both of you under the damn bus
5:56before we even get on it.
5:59>> Star's not here yet.
6:01>> She'll be here.
6:03>> I wonder what American beach clothes
6:04look like.
6:05>> Clothes.
6:07>> Yeah, but
6:08>> If the rest of that sentence gets weird,
6:10I'm beating the ever-loving crap out of
6:12you.
6:15>> Woah.
6:16>> Oh.
6:17>> Shut up, you idiots.
6:19>> That bikini is
6:21really red.
6:23>> Good save.
6:26>> Star, you look
6:28>> Choose your next words carefully.
6:30>> Summer ready.
6:32>> Acceptable.
6:33>> Uh Kacchan?
6:35>> What?
6:36>> Are you okay?
6:37>> And why wouldn't I be okay?
6:39>> Your ears are red.
6:41>> It's 90° outside, you dumbass.
6:44>> Well, your ears weren't red 30 seconds
6:46ago.
6:48>> Just get on the bus.
6:50>> We're still waiting for Aizawa, Bakugo.
6:52>> Unfortunately, I'm already here.
6:56Bags underneath, no quirks in the water,
6:59no unsupervised swimming beyond the
7:00marked boundary, no property damage,
7:03and no fights with civilians.
7:07Everybody on the bus.
7:14>> Now, this is what I'm talking about.
7:16>> The water looks great.
7:19>> [sighs]
7:20>> Who's ready for volleyball?
7:22>> We just got here. Give us a
7:23>> I'll team up with Star.
7:25>> Deku.
7:26>> I
7:28thought I'd try.
7:29>> Me and Midoriya versus you and Star.
7:33>> [sighs and gasps]
7:34>> Fine.
7:37Sparkler,
7:38you played?
7:42>> Good.
7:43Try to keep up.
7:46>> Oh, yeah?
7:48>> You think I'm the one who has to keep
7:49up, huh?
7:50>> Well, Star's hand-eye coordination is
7:52probably excellent because of how much
7:54precision her quirk requires.
7:56>> Midoriya, you're on my team. Stop
7:59complimenting the enemy.
8:00>> Now, just shut up the both of you and
8:02serve the damn ball.
8:03>> Asui, hold on. Hold on. We didn't bring
8:06this beautiful beatbox for nothing.
8:08>> God, I can't believe you still have that
8:10old piece of crap.
8:11>> Hey. Sometimes Spotify just doesn't cut
8:14it.
8:23HERE WE GO.
8:29GOT IT.
8:32SET.
8:33MEDLEY, SPIKE.
8:37>> TOO OBVIOUS.
8:38>> LEFT.
8:39>> I GOT IT.
8:41>> YOU CALL THAT A RETURN?
8:43>> IT'S still in the air.
8:44>> Kirishima.
8:47>> Sparkler, YOURS.
8:52>> WOW.
8:53POINT.
8:54>> OUR POINT, NERD.
8:57>> THAT WAS AWESOME, STAR.
8:59>> YEAH.
9:00NOW, just keep doing it until we win.
9:16>> [sighs and gasps]
9:18>> I
9:20hate
9:21both of you.
9:23Star,
9:26I thought we were friends.
9:27>> She picked the winning side.
9:30>> You picked her.
9:32>> We all know she wanted to be on my side.
9:35>> Ugh.
9:37I'm never moving again.
9:39>> I'll go get the drinks.
9:41>> Best beach wife
9:44ever.
9:46>> I'm going to get the drinks.
9:54>> I can feel my heartbeat in my knees.
9:57>> That's because you've got garbage
9:58stamina.
9:59>> I have incredible stamina.
10:01>> Then why the hell are you lying face
10:03down in the sand?
10:04>> Recovery position.
10:09>> You good?
10:13I know you can handle yourself.
10:15Doesn't mean you don't need water.
10:20Yeah.
10:22That was a hell of a game back there.
10:24Good work, Sparkler.
10:26I wonder what else you're capable of.
10:29>> I'm back.
10:30>> Water.
10:32>> What the hell?
10:34How many drinks did you bring?
10:36>> I wasn't sure what everyone would want.
10:38>> So, you brought your entire fridge?
10:40>> Uh no, not everything.
10:42Just a selection.
10:45Water, sparkling water, lemon sparkling
10:48water, sports drink, blue sports drink,
10:50orange sports drink, green tea, iced
10:52coffee, iced tea, lemonade, cola, zero
10:54sugar cola, melon soda
10:56>> Medoria, bro.
10:58>> I panicked.
10:59>> Over beverages?
11:00>> Well, Star's American.
11:02>> What the hell does that have to do with
11:03anything?
11:04>> I didn't know what she normally drinks
11:05at the beach.
11:06>> I don't think America has one federally
11:08approved beach beverage, Medoria.
11:11>> I over thought it.
11:12>> Shocking.
11:14>> Star,
11:15please just pick whatever you want.
11:19>> That one.
11:20>> Oh, that's great. I brought three of
11:21those.
11:22>> Of course you did.
11:24>> I'll take the blue sports drink.
11:27>> Water.
11:30Thanks.
11:35>> [sighs]
11:40>> This is nice.
11:41No villains, no exams,
11:43no cameras following Star around, no
11:46combat robots trying to punch us.
11:50We probably need days like this more
11:52than we realize.
11:55Hey, Star.
11:56First beach day in Japan?
11:58Official review?
12:05You were on my team.
12:07Of course you had fun.
12:09That is the most Bakugo way to flirt I
12:11have ever heard.
12:12>> Finish that sentence and I will bury
12:14you.
12:15>> Manly.
12:21Dude, look at that.
12:23>> Oh, the sky is beautiful.
12:25>> Orange, pink, purple.
12:28Star, your whole hero aesthetic is
12:29getting challenged by the sunset.
12:31>> And the sunset's losing.
12:37>> It's weird thinking this is our last
12:39summer at UA.
12:40>> Yeah.
12:41>> Don't get sentimental.
12:43>> It's hard not to.
12:44>> Then do it quietly.
12:50>> It really did go fast, didn't it?
12:53First year felt endless and then
12:54everything happened. The war,
12:56reconstruction, second year, work
12:58studies, and now
13:00>> graduation's actually coming.
13:03>> Yeah.
13:08Weird for you, too, huh, Star?
13:10Get here right when we're all realizing
13:12we're about to leave.
13:16>> Have you thought about what you'll do
13:17after the exchange?
13:22Right.
13:23I guess there still is time.
13:25>> I've got my plan.
13:27Pro hero, obviously.
13:29But then
13:30action movies.
13:32>> Action movies?
13:33>> Well, think about it. Professional hero,
13:35occasional movie star. All my own
13:37stunts.
13:38>> You'd forget your lines.
13:40>> I'd improvise. You know
13:43I can actually see it.
13:44Thank you.
13:46You see, I'm picturing big cinematic
13:48explosions behind me and
13:50>> Cinematic, huh?
13:51So, not real explosions.
13:53Huh.
13:55Pathetic.
13:56>> Fine, fine. We'll hire you. Explosion
13:59consultant.
14:00>> Uh no, no, no. Executive explosion
14:02consultant. And Stark can do the
14:04fireworks for the premiere.
14:09>> Exactly. And Midoriya can teach.
14:12>> Huh?
14:13>> I want to teach at UA.
14:15>> Seriously?
14:16>> Yeah.
14:17And not immediately. I still want to
14:19work as a hero as long as I can.
14:22But eventually
14:23I want to come back here.
14:25>> Since when?
14:26>> I've been thinking about it for a while.
14:30The embers are fading faster.
14:32>> Ah, Midoriya.
14:34>> I'm okay.
14:35It's just uh
14:37noticeable now.
14:39More than it was a few months ago.
14:42When I push myself
14:44there's a difference.
14:46I recover slower.
14:48Some of the things that used to feel
14:49instinctive don't anymore.
14:52Sometimes I reach for that power and
14:55there's just less there.
14:57>> How much less?
14:58>> I don't know exactly.
15:00You track everything.
15:02>> Kacchan.
15:03>> You write down how many damn steps you
15:05take during patrol simulations. Don't
15:08you tell me you don't know.
15:09>> I know the numbers, I just don't know
15:11the timeline.
15:12It could be months or it could be
15:13longer.
15:15Recovery Girl says there are too many
15:16variables.
15:18But it is happening.
15:19>> Why Why you tell us?
15:21>> Well, because nothing changed. I just
15:23>> Everything's changed.
15:25>> No, Kacchan. That's the thing. It
15:27didn't. I knew this was going to happen.
15:30From the moment I gave One For All up, I
15:32knew the embers wouldn't last forever.
15:34I got more time than I thought I would.
15:37I got to come back.
15:38I got to finish school with everyone. I
15:40got to keep training. I got
15:42this.
15:44And when it's gone,
15:46I'm still here.
15:49I don't mean that in some inspirational
15:50way.
15:52I've thought about it a lot.
15:54There were nights I hated it. And there
15:56still are.
15:57Sometimes I wake up and I forget for a
15:59half a second.
16:00And I think everything is the way it
16:01was.
16:03Then I remember.
16:05But being a hero was never just the
16:07quirk. Aizawa taught us that. All Might
16:10did, too. Even if it took him a while to
16:12understand it himself.
16:14I like helping people. Analyzing quirks,
16:16figuring out how someone can use what
16:18they have in a way they never
16:19considered. And
16:21I think I'd be good at teaching that to
16:23kids like us.
16:25>> Yeah.
16:26You'd be amazing at it, bro.
16:28>> You think?
16:29>> Are you kidding?
16:30You'd have a notebook on every student
16:32before first term.
16:33>> I probably would.
16:35>> 50 pages each.
16:36>> Maybe not 50.
16:37>> 30.
16:38>> Kacchan, come on. I
16:41Okay, possibly 30.
16:44>> [laughter]
16:49>> So that's it, huh?
16:51You're just planning around losing it
16:53now?
16:54>> I'm planning a future.
16:56>> Same damn thing.
16:57>> No, it isn't.
16:58>> You finally get the power to stand at
17:00the top, and now you're talking about
17:02chalkboards.
17:03You spent our entire lives chasing me.
17:07Then I spent half of mine trying to
17:08outrun you.
17:09>> Kacchan, I
17:10>> We were supposed to settle it.
17:12>> Settle what?
17:13>> Everything.
17:14Who gets farther, who's stronger, who
17:16hits number one first, all of it.
17:18>> We still can.
17:20>> It's not the same.
17:22>> No, it's not.
17:24But then again,
17:26when is anything between us ever stayed
17:27the same?
17:30>> You damn nerd.
17:31>> [laughter]
17:33>> If you are going to be a teacher at this
17:35school,
17:36you better be the most annoying damn
17:38teacher the school's ever had.
17:40You hear me?
17:41>> That's a very high bar.
17:43Aizawa teaches here, Present Mic, and
17:46All Might.
17:47>> Then you beat them.
17:49>> I'll do my best.
17:50>> Wrong answer.
17:52>> I will beat them.
17:54>> Better.
17:57>> Oh, man.
17:59Now I really have to become an action
18:00star.
18:01Just picture it. Midoriya teaching
18:03future heroes, Bakugo screaming his way
18:06to number one, me starring in Red Riot
18:087: Maximum Manliness, and Star
18:12well,
18:14she's going to be uh
18:16Actually, what are you going to be,
18:18Star?
18:23Being the successor to Star and Stripe
18:25is huge, and it comes with a ton of
18:27pressure. I can see why you're still
18:29deciding.
18:34Yeah, that's fair. You came all the way
18:36across the world. You don't have to know
18:38just yet. You might end up with
18:40opportunities in both countries.
18:42International rescue work, joint
18:43agencies, maybe your own agency, movie
18:47career.
18:48>> Stop recruiting her into your stupid
18:49imaginary movies.
18:51>> She'd sell tons of tickets, man.
18:54>> [sighs]
18:56>> Whatever you choose,
18:58you'll have time.
19:03Aizawa says we need to head towards the
19:05bus in 15. We should probably collect
19:07everything.
19:09I'll get the volleyball and beatbox.
19:11Midoriya,
19:12good luck with the drinks.
19:14Yeah, right.
19:17See you at the bus, star.
19:19And uh
19:20thanks for listening.
19:22Hey.
19:24Just stay with me for a second, okay?
19:2730 pages per student, Midoriya? I said
19:30possibly.
19:31You're totally going to assign homework
19:33on day one. I would not. You absolutely
19:36would.
19:40I knew
19:41about Deku.
19:43Not how fast, but
19:45I knew.
19:47We all did.
19:49Doesn't mean I have to like hearing him
19:50say it.
19:52That stupid nerd.
19:54He spent his whole damn life trying to
19:55catch me.
19:57Even when I made it impossible.
19:59Even when I was
20:01No, whatever.
20:03Doesn't matter.
20:05He kept coming.
20:07Then one day
20:09I looked over and I realized I was
20:11chasing him, too.
20:13And I thought to myself
20:15good.
20:16It's how it should be.
20:18I'd get stronger, he'd get stronger.
20:21We'd keep fighting each other until we
20:22were 80 years old.
20:28>> [snorts]
20:29>> Stupid, right?
20:35The hell are you doing?
20:40I don't need comforting.
20:45But I didn't say move, did I?
20:52Yeah, he'll still be there. I know.
20:55He'll still be Deku.
20:57Still writing everything down, still
20:59sticking his nose in everyone's
21:00problems.
21:01Probably teaching some first-year idiot
21:03how to break their fingers more
21:04efficiently.
21:06And I'll still kick his ass whenever he
21:08gets annoying.
21:10So,
21:12it's fine.
21:15It'll be fine.
21:17I'll fix it.
21:22What about you?
21:24Don't give me the I don't know answer
21:26you gave them.
21:28I'm not asking about what agency you're
21:30joining.
21:31I'm asking,
21:33after this year,
21:34when UA ends,
21:36where do you go?
21:41America, right?
21:43Obviously.
21:47I knew that.
21:49Exchange student international program.
21:52Yeah, it's literally in the name.
21:56Quit looking at me like that.
22:02Yeah.
22:04A year is a long time.
22:06Anything can happen.
22:11When you got off that plane yesterday,
22:14I thought you were going to be a pain in
