The Saturday Wrap-Up - Dark Age to Golden Age: Trump’s Team Disarms the Lords of Money - August 29, 2026
0:00Yesterday at the Jackson Hall annual
0:02summit, new Federal Reserve Chairman
0:04Kevin Worsh opened up that policy
0:07conference with this indictment.
0:09>> If the Fed gets inflation wrong and
0:12judges the economy wrong, who gets the
0:14worst of it?
0:16Not the financial high-f flyers.
0:19Hardworking Americans are the ones left
0:21to deal with inflation that's too high
0:24or jobs that suddenly appear less
0:26secure. In those two sentences, Worsh
0:28captured what has gone wrong with our
0:30economy. The high-f flyers benefit and
0:33working people pay the price. His
0:35further remarks, coupled with Scott
0:37Besson's Operation Economic Outcast,
0:40point to a deliberate strategy to clip
0:43the wings of those financial high
0:45flyers. But what about the hardworking
0:47Americans that Worsh referenced? The
0:50same day that Wars spoke, President
0:52Trump stood at the Johnson Space Center
0:55and gave a hint of what this
0:57administration will be doing for those
1:00Americans who have been on the wrong end
1:02of globalization.
1:03>> Yet, as the world can see today under
1:05the Trump administration, we have
1:08brought back America's space program and
1:11came out of the dark age and it's now
1:13into the golden age.
1:14>> Between those two statements, you see
1:16the before and after. Before is a world
1:18under the imperial model run by the
1:20lords of money. And after is what this
1:23administration is fighting to create. A
1:26world dominated by that unique quality
1:30that the empire fears the most. Now this
1:33has been a jam-packed week between the
1:35trade war with Canada renaming lake
1:37America and all the other headline
1:39grabbing news. So it's easy to miss the
1:42shape of the larger war. I'm Susan
1:45Kokinda and it's that larger war that
1:47I'm going to lay out today in this
1:48Saturday rap. First, how Kevin Worsh
1:51smashed the global financeers crystal
1:54ball at Jackson Hole. Second, the big
1:58secret that Scott Bessant revealed when
2:00he announced Operation Economic Outcast.
2:03And third, why a press conference at the
2:05Johnson Space Center scares the
2:07globalists more than all of the above.
The Crystal Ball Shatters
2:10So yesterday, the world's central
2:13bankers, other government officials, and
2:16academics convened at the annual Jackson
2:18Hole Summit in Wyoming. This was Kevin
2:21Worsh's first appearance at Jackson Hole
2:24as the chairman of the Federal Reserve.
2:27Now, the corporate media took his speech
2:29and tried to shove it into their own
2:31narrative. They were looking for tea
2:34leaves to tell them that interest rates
2:36are going to go up. You can see it in
2:39these headlines.
2:40Worsh fuels higher rate outlook and a
2:44clear signal of a rate rise and interest
2:48rate increase in play. Did they
2:51deliberately miss what Worsh said or are
2:54they just so freaked out that they
2:56blocked it out? Because how can you miss
2:59the implications of this?
3:01>> Now there is one signal nobody can miss.
3:04The responsibility for 65 months of
3:08sustained elevated inflation sits
3:10squarely with the central bank and
3:12that's where it belongs.
3:14>> That's the head of the Federal Reserve
3:16laying the blame for 65 months of high
3:18interest rates squarely on the Federal
3:20Reserve. Now do the math. 65 months
3:24takes you back to the beginning of the
3:25Biden autopen presidency. Now, one of
3:28the tools that the Federal Reserve uses
3:31to tilt the game in the favor of the
3:34financial high-f flyers is what's called
3:36forward guidance. That's just the
3:39chairman of the Fed and the FOMC
3:42signaling in advance what they intend to
3:45do with interest rates. That way, the
3:48lords of money can place their bets. But
3:50under Worsh, he made no bones about the
3:53fact that that is over. But we should
3:57not indulge a regime in which market
4:00participants are looking primarily to
4:03the Fed for their next trade.
4:07The economic literature has long
4:09described the distorting effects, what
4:11it called the hall of mirrors problem.
4:14Market participants are unlikely to bear
4:17the biggest costs of the hall of mirrors
4:19problem.
4:20most serious harm is likely to befall
4:23those without any financial assets.
4:26>> So again, Worsh pointed to how the Fed's
4:28forward guidance helps the market
4:30participants
4:32and hurts the lower 50% who don't have
4:35financial assets. So what did he really
4:38do? He basically smashed the crystal
4:40ball that helps the high-f flyers and he
4:43told them they should instead pay
4:45attention to the real economy and pay
4:47attention to risks rather than counting
4:50on the Fed to gain the system for them.
4:53Now, I don't think Kevin Worsh has
4:55become a Hamiltonian, but what he is
4:57doing is reducing the Federal Reserve's
5:00footprint. He's pulling it back from its
5:04role which has metastasized into
5:06something which simply feeds the
5:08financial parasite, whether it's with
5:11forward guidance or with quantitative
5:13easing. And he's getting it out of the
5:15way so that the real economy can begin
5:17to grow using other methods for
5:20hardworking Americans. Now, you are not
5:23going to get that analysis from CNN or
5:25Fox or your social media feeds, but you
5:28will get it from Prometheian Actions
5:30free newsletter. This is a good time to
5:32subscribe. The link is in the
5:34description. But there's a bigger story
5:36that no one else is giving you. While
5:38Wars is beginning to stop feeding the
5:41parasite,
5:42Bessant is taking aim at it. On August
Bessent Reveals Dirty Secrets
5:4624th, the Treasury Secretary announced
5:48the administration's Operation Economic
5:51Outcast. And here's the highlights. He
5:54said, "Today, we are launching Operation
5:57Economic Outcast to foreclose every
6:00other option available to the Iranian
6:02regime. Treasury has mapped every node,
6:05every facilitator, and every network
6:07that Iran has used to smuggle oil and
6:10evade sanctions.
6:12Let me be clear. Any entity that
6:14facilitates money laundering on behalf
6:16of Iran will be removed from the US
6:19dollar system. The clock is ticking.
6:23Now, you probably did see coverage of
6:25that. But here's what almost no one else
6:29noticed. The exchange with a reporter
6:32near the end.
6:33>> So, why not impose the sanctions today?
6:37Well, we we are giving everyone the
6:40opportunity the to remedy bad behavior.
6:43Why would I want to blow up the global
6:45financial system? Think about that.
6:48Bessent is warning that if he were to
6:50pull the plug on the bad actors
6:53immediately, it would blow up the global
6:56financial system. Why is that? Because
7:00the globalist financial system is based
7:02on bad behavior. It's based on hot money
7:04flows, speculation, drug money
7:07laundering, support for other kinds of
7:09destructive, if not outright, criminal
7:12activity. And you can see how that works
7:14when you look at the entities targeted
7:16by Treasury. Notice how many are in Hong
7:19Kong. What are you looking at here?
7:21Since 1997,
7:23Hong Kong has operated under the one
7:26country, two systems framework. The
7:30financial architecture is British even
7:32though the country is politically under
7:35China. The financial architecture is
7:37British. The currency is issued by three
7:40banks. HSBC and Standard and Charters
7:43both British and the Bank of China.
7:46Capital flows free with minimum
7:48regulations. Hong Kong is the Cayman
7:51Islands of Asia and it is in Scott
7:54Besson sites. the broader financial
7:57implications of what is going on with
7:59the Iran conflict. The control of oil
8:02and oil prices has been one of the
8:04pillars of the empire's financial Ponzi
8:07scheme. This administration is
8:09bulldozing that by making the straight
8:11of Hormuse choke point irrelevant,
8:14removing the terror premium and busting
8:16up OPEC. Remember the UAE, which is one
8:19of the major producers, has already left
8:21OPEC. Then add this to the battle plan.
8:25the creation of new sources of oil not
8:28under imperial control. So yesterday,
8:32this is what the president announced
8:34regarding Venezuela.
8:36He said that the United States and
8:38Venezuela have now entered into the
8:41biggest oil deal in world history. and
8:45he announced that Venezuela now is in
8:48partnership with private business which
8:50have secured majority US control of more
8:54than 65 billion barrels of proven oil
8:57reserves in Venezuela at no cost to the
9:00American taxpayer. This historic
9:02transaction more than doubles American
9:05oil reserve. So look at what Bessant is
9:08really pulling on. A financial system so
9:11fragile that shutting down bad behavior
9:14might blow up the whole thing. A system
9:17that runs on controlling oil through the
9:19cartels, the choke points, the insurance
9:21rackets, the futures markets. When you
9:24take away that superructure, what do you
9:26see? You see the underlying idea that
9:30holds the empire together. A system
9:33based on money and limited real growth.
9:36A system where the lords of money
9:38control who wins and who loses.
9:41But what happens when they lose control?
9:45When there are no limits, where real
9:47wealth is not defined by money? That's
9:50the American system. And it was on full
9:52view yesterday at the Johnson Space
9:54Center. President Trump traveled to the
The Dark Age Ends in Houston
9:56Johnson Space Center in Houston to
9:58present the Congressional Space Medal of
10:00Honor to our four Artemis 2 astronauts.
10:05NASA administrator Jared Isaacman set
10:08the tone in his introduction to the
10:10president.
10:11>> Mr. President, welcome to Johnson Space
10:14Center. I am grateful to serve under a
10:16president with the vision and
10:18determination to ensure American
10:20leadership across the great frontier of
10:22space. We will pursue the secrets of the
10:25universe, unlock the economic potential
10:27in space, ensure our national security
10:29and the ultimate high ground, and
10:31inspire the next generation to carry the
10:33fire of exploration. even further.
10:35>> And the president carried that theme
10:37forward. He talked about his love of
10:39space. He talked about how he got it
10:41from his uncle John Trump. He talked
10:44about what had happened to NASA under
10:46Obama and Biden. How the man space
10:49program, the next step, which then was
10:52called constellation, was cancelled by
10:55Obama in 2010. That cancellation came at
10:59the same time Obamacare was forced on
11:02this country. And those two policies
11:05encapsulated the dark age. Limits to
11:07growth, no frontiers.
11:10This is a cultural weapon that the
11:13empire uses to trap you in a world of
11:16managed decline with no way out. Now,
11:19nothing shatters that imperial prison
11:22more than what Donald Trump announced
11:24yesterday. He announced the creation of
11:27a United States Space Academy. He
11:30established the framework to make our
11:32push into space a part of our whole
11:36society and to make it permanent.
11:39President Trump signed the presidential
11:41directive establishing this in front of
11:43the past and the future astronauts. In
11:47it, he declares that the nation must
11:50prepare the next generation of
11:52astronauts, scientists, engineers,
11:55operators, entrepreneurs, civil
11:57servants, and war fighters and ensure
12:00that they are capable of advancing
12:02American interests in space. This is all
12:06of society being drawn into the golden
12:09age of exploration. This is the
12:11institutional rejection of the empire's
12:14dark age. And speaking to that same
12:17gathering, Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison
12:21Schmidt, who was one of the last two
12:23people to set foot on the moon, said it
12:26better than anyone.
12:28>> And maybe increasingly through my
12:31activities, continued activities as a
12:33researcher,
12:36you're sampling
12:38evidence of creation.
12:41That's what exploration of the moon and
12:44of the earth but and eventually of the
12:47rest of the solar system is all about.
12:49We are sampling creation.
12:53God is on our side folks
12:57in this in infinitely complex
13:01movement of freedom
13:04into the solar system. And I'm
13:06absolutely convinced he wants us to go
13:09farther. Reflect on that. Reflect on
13:12what he said. God is on our side in the
13:15infinitely complex movement of freedom
13:18into the solar system. People who are
13:20sampling the evidence of creation will
13:23never fall prey to cultural despair or
13:27be ruled by the lords of money or by an
13:29oligarchy. And Harrison Schmidt also
13:32understood the cultural and political
13:34implications of that when he concluded
13:37with this. Now, he's also on our side
13:42as well as the infinitely equally
13:45complex
13:46challenge we have in the preservation of
13:49freedom here on this planet.
13:51>> That's the fight. The preservation of
13:53freedom here on this planet. Whether it
13:55is freeing ourselves from a financial
13:57system that serves the empire or a
13:59cultural system of limitations and
14:01littleness. That is indeed the
14:04infinitely complex challenge before us.
14:07And this administration is indeed on the
14:10right side and it does have the right
14:12stuff and that is the side that
14:14Prometheian Action is on as well. So if
14:17you want to be part of that fight, join
14:19us as a contributing member or a
14:20supporter. This has been your Saturday
14:22rap. Thanks for joining us.
