Bessent: “CUT THE SNAKE'S HEAD OFF" – But Who is the Real Target?

0:25Who runs the BVI? And who runs these

0:27trust companies? Now, hold that question

0:30and go back to the Kudlow interview,

0:32where Bessent reached back to his South

0:34Carolina childhood to make this point.

0:36>> We'd end up with a lot of poison snakes

0:38in the yard.

0:40And you would take either a rake or a

0:43machete or

0:46a paddle from a boat, and you'd cut the

0:47head off.

0:48>> Mhm.

0:49>> But the snake, the tail kept wiggling.

0:52And you had to bury the head of the

0:53snake.

0:54>> Larry Kudlow heard that and figured

0:56Bessent was only talking about the IRGC,

0:59but was he? Or is this wartime Treasury

1:02Secretary naming something a lot bigger

1:04than Iran? Now, as this show is being

1:06recorded, President Trump is updating

1:08the nation on the military situation

1:10with Iran. But today, we're looking at

1:13the other battlefields in that larger

1:15war. I'm Susan Kokinda, and I've tracked

1:18this larger fight for decades, so you

1:20don't have to start from zero. Here's

1:21what I'm covering today. First, the

1:23dirty money machine that Bessent just

1:25named on live TV, and who actually owns

1:28it. Second, who's on the outside of the

1:31new Middle East order that Donald Trump

1:33is creating. And third, the fight at the

1:36G20 over who's being let back inside.

1:40So, let's answer the question that we

1:42asked at the outset.

1:43Since the name gives it away, you should

1:45have guessed the British Virgin Islands

1:47are British Overseas Territories, ruled

1:50by King Charles, under British law, and

1:53with a governor appointed in London. So,

1:55this is not some tropical loophole.

1:58This is the shell company capital of the

2:00world. At its peak, the BVI had more

2:04registered companies than people.

2:07They had hundreds of thousands of

2:08companies for 30,000 residents. And it

2:11is one of the nodes of the great

2:13offshore haven of the city of London

2:15cultivated starting with the Cayman

2:17Islands in the 1960s.

2:19The Caribbean was turned into a black

2:22money laundromat by its former colonial

2:24masters. And those enormous dirty

2:27financial flows have been the key in

2:30propping up the current globalist

2:32system.

2:33The Trump administration has hit at that

2:35operation hard. They've gone after the

2:37drug cartels and after Maduro.

2:40But it kind of stayed in the shadows.

2:42Yesterday, Scott Bessent dragged it out

2:45into the open stressing that he was

2:47saying it on worldwide TV, just so you

2:50know.

2:52And to leave nothing to the imagination,

2:54he added this.

2:55>> We are going to our partners, we are

2:57going to close all of that down. So,

3:00after 47 years, it is over. And we are

3:05telling people either you are with us or

3:07against us.

3:08>> Bessent was telling our partners,

3:10"We have the ledgers of these shell

3:12companies and you can't hide anymore."

3:15That is not just a threat to Iran.

3:18That's a threat to the system

3:20that holds Iran's money and everybody

3:22else. Bessent's warning follows

3:24Treasury's new campaign. 60 entities

3:27have been put on notice to clean up or

3:29be cut off.

3:30And the single location with the most

3:32targets, Hong Kong,

3:34which has been under Chinese political

3:36control, but is still officially running

3:39on the British financial structure that

3:41Britain built and never dismantled. It's

3:44the same model as the BVI on the other

3:46side of the world. But this isn't just

3:49about the Caymans or Hong Kong or even

3:51Iran. It's about a complete strategic

3:54realignment.

3:56And Interior Secretary Doug Burgum

3:58described it.

3:59>> And so it's it's really nothing short of

4:01actually shifting the geopolitical

4:03center of of the of the the global

4:06energy markets away from these choke

4:08points like in the Middle East and

4:10moving it back to the Western

4:12Hemisphere.

4:13>> Shifting the geopolitical center away

4:15from choke points. This is the entire

4:18imperial model. The offshore money

4:20machine, the energy choke points, the

4:23wars that continually feed both of them.

4:26That is the system that is being

4:28targeted. That's the head. The money is

4:31the venom.

4:43have fed the empire so ably over the

4:46decades,

4:47the Mideast is one of the regions that

4:49has suffered the most under this forever

4:52war model. For 80 years, Washington

4:55enforced the imperial game in the

4:57region.

4:58This is where the neocon regime change

5:00operations came from. Implemented by

5:03London's radical Islamist proxies, which

5:06toppled government after government.

5:09Syria was one of the last. A stable

5:12government which had full freedom of

5:14religion was demonized, sanctioned, and

5:17destabilized.

5:18And one of the destabilizers,

5:20Al-Shabaab, became its leader.

5:23Last November, Donald Trump invited him

5:26to the White House.

5:27And recently, Trump suggested that Syria

5:30might do a better job than Israel in

5:32stopping Hezbollah in Lebanon.

5:35And last week, the State Department

5:37officially lifted sanctions on Syria.

5:41Marco Rubio put it this way. Lifting

5:43sanctions on Syria will unlock

5:45international trade and investment, give

5:47Syria a chance to rebuild, and open up a

5:50new chapter for the Syrian people. A

5:52stable, unified Syria at peace with

5:55itself and its neighbors benefits not

5:57only the region, but the entire world.

6:00The only thing it doesn't benefit is

6:02Britain's great game. And that great

6:04game is losing ground elsewhere.

6:07Last month, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and

6:09Pakistan formalized the Mecca joint

6:12defense alliance. A mutual defense pact

6:15between three of the biggest military

6:17powers in the region.

6:19Three Muslim nations building their own

6:21security block on their own terms.

6:24Israeli political figures and press

6:26expressed concern. The Jerusalem Post

6:29warned that anti-Israel statements of

6:32the emergent alliance between Saudi

6:34Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are not

6:37just rhetoric. Now, the British

6:39government was uncharacteristically

6:42silent about this.

6:44But Donald Trump welcomed it with this

6:47post.

6:48Very happy to see that Saudi Arabia,

6:50Turkey, and Pakistan have recently and

6:53finally signed the Mecca joint defense

6:56agreement. It shows how the Middle East

6:58is coming together.

7:00This is a big, bold, and important first

7:03step. Wow. Now,

7:06the

7:07establishment's foreign policy think

7:09tank, the Council on Foreign Relations,

7:12tried to spin it with this headline.

7:14US-led Middle East order is over.

7:18But it's not the US-led order that's

7:20over, it's the empire's.

7:23And nowhere is that clear than in the

7:25Israel-Palestine conflict. Since the

7:28creation of Israel, forces in that

7:30country have played their role on

7:32Britain's Mideast chessboard. Along with

7:34their counterparts in the

7:36British-created Muslim Brotherhood and

7:38other British-fostered terrorist groups.

7:40That is the policy of perpetual

7:42religious warfare, which Donald Trump

7:45began to challenge with the Abraham

7:46Accords in his first term.

7:49Take the proxies off the board and

7:51create the conditions for Israel to be

7:53secure in its existence

7:55and for Arab and Muslim nations to be

7:57free of extremist groups operating on

7:59their territory and for everybody to

8:02prosper.

8:03The president resumed that mission in

8:05his second term. Then came October 7th

8:08and the destruction and killing began

8:10again. So, Donald Trump created the

8:12Board of Peace, an association of 60

8:15nations committed to ending the violence

8:17in Gaza, ensuring security for Israel,

8:21and rebuilding Gaza.

8:23Under that framework, Hamas has agreed

8:25to disarm.

8:26Now, anybody with any knowledge of this

8:28area knows that even agreeing to disarm

8:31is a breakthrough

8:32and that it came about due to the

8:33economic strangulation of the IRGC,

8:37which has been the main source of money

8:39for Hamas.

8:41So, who is blocking further progress in

8:43Gaza? Is it Hamas? The Board of Peace

8:46Director General Mladenov nailed it when

8:49he said this.

8:51These strikes do not change the status

8:54quo that produced 7 October 2023.

8:58They preserve it. Now, the status quo

9:01that produced October 7th is exactly

9:04what the British want to maintain.

9:06The arrangement where the United States

9:07and Israel in lockstep each play their

9:10role in perpetual conflict. And this is

9:13what has fed the narrative hyped by

9:15social media and which dominates the

9:17Tucker Carlson Candace Owens universe

9:20that Israel runs Donald Trump.

9:23And I'm sure the bots will go overtime

9:25in the comments when this show is

9:27posted. Well, last week in London,

9:30Chatham House hosted a seminar entitled

9:33Iran, Gaza, Trump, and Netanyahu,

9:37understanding the Middle East's crisis.

9:40There on the stage of Britain's premier

9:42foreign policy think tank, Israeli

9:45politician and journalist Ksenia

9:48Svetlova laid out the new reality.

9:51>> Israel lost the ability to initiate

9:54anything in this regard. This is the

9:55most important thing. Something that

9:57Israel did enjoy before this war and now

10:00it seems that the decision-making is

10:02solely in the hands of Donald Trump, the

10:04president of the United States, not

10:05Israel.

10:07>> That is a really important point.

10:08>> From a Chatham House podium, the

10:10admission that one of the empire's

10:12proxies is no longer calling the shots,

10:15honestly if it ever was,

10:17but that Donald Trump is.

10:19But this is bigger than the Mideast and

10:21that's the story that nobody noticed at

10:23the G20. As the host of the G20, the

10:26United States decides the guest list.

10:28Guess who came to dinner.

10:30Russia's finance minister, Anton

10:33Siluanov, sat at the table in Asheville.

10:36This is the first time he's been invited

10:38in person to a summit like this since

10:40Putin invaded Ukraine four years ago.

10:43And he was invited by the host country.

10:45The Europeans were not happy as the

10:47German finance minister, Lars Klingbeil,

10:50made clear.

10:51"I would have wanted greater clarity

10:53from the American side that he should

10:55not be received here as a normal guest."

10:58Then Klingbeil organized a protest.

11:01"I made it clear to the Europeans this

11:03morning in the plenary session that I

11:04would not pose for a photo with the

11:06Russian finance minister."

11:08So in the official G20 family photo

11:11taken at the same summit, Siluanov

11:13wasn't in it.

11:15But the real work isn't done with photo

11:17ops. Mnuchin had a one-on-one meeting

11:19with him at the G20. Axios summed it up

11:22this way.

11:23The US is re-engaging with Russia while

11:26Europe remains intent on keeping Moscow

11:29isolated as the war goes on. And of

11:31course the American press challenged

11:33President Trump over Russia's

11:35participation at the summit and he

11:37responded

11:38>> What was the thinking behind inviting

11:39the Russians to the G20 meeting in

11:41Asheville?

11:42>> Well, we're going to see what happens,

11:43but we like getting along with

11:45everybody. One of the reasons that I'm

11:47so successful, I get along with

11:49everybody.

11:50>> That's the opposite of geopolitics.

11:52And speaking of everybody, nobody

11:54noticed what else Bassant dropped into

11:57the same interview with Kudlow. Right

12:00after he threw out the warning that you

12:02are either with us or against us.

12:05Bassant offered this completely

12:07unprompted.

12:09>> And you know, everyone says to me,

12:10"Well, what about China?" I said, "We

12:12have more in common with the Chinese on

12:14Iran than we disagree with on." The

12:17Chinese agree Iran cannot have a nuclear

12:19weapon. The Chinese agree that there

12:21should be free the freedom of navigation

12:25in the Strait of Hormuz. So, we have had

12:28private discussions with them in terms

12:30of achieving those goals.

12:32>> Larry Kudlow quickly changed the

12:33subject.

12:35So, let's put this all together. Since

12:37the end of World War II,

12:39the central principle of British

12:40geopolitics has been keep everyone

12:43fighting everyone else,

12:45especially the superpowers, while we run

12:48the world economy through choke points,

12:50financial flows,

12:52dirty financial flows or otherwise, and

12:55proxies.

12:56And at one summit in Asheville hosted by

12:59the United States, that playbook was
