Intro

0:00Today, I'm taking millionaire

0:01entrepreneur Iman Gadzhi shopping here

0:03in New York City. His outfits are

0:05usually worth thousands of dollars, but

0:06today's challenge is to replicate his

0:08style for under 500 bucks. Let's see if

0:11we can do it.

0:17So, you have this like old money

Iman Gadzhi's Style

0:18aesthetic style going. Everybody I feel

0:20like talks about Iman's style, old money

0:22aesthetic style. I want to ask you

0:23first, uh why do you wear old money

0:25versus street style, for example?

0:27old money kind of became a thing in in

0:30the last few years. Like it's kind of a

0:31buzzword, like new money, old money. I

0:32guess growing up in London, you don't

0:34want your clothing to like be your

0:36entire personality. Be honest, when I

0:37first started making good money, you

0:39know, I was never crazy into logos and

0:41stuff like that, but you know, there's

0:42few little pieces and bits of what all

0:44of my friends from London were just What

0:45are you wearing? Like They're like this

0:47is this is not happening. I see you wear

0:48like sometimes some fun sneakers though,

0:49some Travis. Yeah, mix it up. Yeah. No,

0:52I think I think you should have fun with

0:53your style. Like we were we were one of

0:55our offices yesterday and like half the

0:56employees don't even wear shoes.

0:58So, it's just like that's not really

0:59like the vibe. So, you kind of need to

1:00know your environment, know where you

1:02are, and I feel like the way I dress, I

1:03just feel like anywhere I go, it's not

1:05going to be too over the top, but it's

1:06not going to be underdressed as well.

1:08Like it's it's a happy medium. How how

1:10much does this outfit cost, for example?

1:11I think shoes are like a K. K. Uh

How Much Does Iman's Outfit Cost?

1:14trousers, I have no idea. They're from

1:16my tailor. Custom made. So, I have no

1:18idea. You know. This, I don't know.

1:20Laurel, maybe like three. So, thousands

1:22of dollars for this outfit. We're going

1:23to replicate a very similar style for

1:24you. So, we'll probably just do shirt,

1:26pants, no jacket, because we're going to

1:28keep it under $500 for you guys

1:30watching, so. So, that's the challenge?

1:31That's the challenge? Let's do it. All

1:32right.

1:43So, obviously with Suit Supply, you can

1:44get, you know, so many different pieces

Shopping in Suitsupply

1:46here that are going to be similar to

1:47this. I mean, just looking at the ti-

1:49the style, right, it's very similar to

1:51what you're wearing now. So, how about

1:52we start with tops?

1:54Is there anything here that like catches

1:56your eyes? Would you ever wear something

1:57like this? I don't know how I feel about

1:59the fishnet. That that one's probably a

2:00miss. Too much. Yeah, yeah. I'm just

2:02trying to find your boundaries right

2:03now. It's like a nice like fruity

2:05country club outfit. It's a linen

2:06bomber. It's really nice, really light,

2:09perfect for Dubai weather cuz it's, you

2:11know, it's linen. So, very breathable.

2:13Similar to what you have on right now.

2:15Right? So, this could be good. We will

2:17skip the fishnet. Yeah.

2:18For the best. Yeah. What's your favorite

2:20fashion brand that you wear typically?

Iman's Favorite Fashion Brands

2:22If I'm being honest, Zegna, Loro. I'm

2:25starting to get a little off it, yeah,

2:27if I'm being honest. So, I had this

2:29a gift of kings from Loro Piana. It's

2:31like a $3,000 shirt. It's ridiculous.

2:33But, this like just fits perfectly. You

2:34know when a shirt just fits perfect?

2:36Just hits different. Yeah. I'm not

2:37joking. I've ruined maybe 10 of them.

2:39Like but sending it to dry cleaning as

2:41well. And they're like, "Oh, you know,

2:42it needs to be treated correctly." This

2:44that. So, I told them. I was like,

2:44"Okay,

2:45where is a place that could treat it?"

2:46And there was only one place in Abu

2:49Dhabi. So, I sent it there. They still

2:50messed it up. So, I've I've ruined like

2:5210 of these shirts now. And that's the

2:53thing sometimes with luxury, too. Like

2:55It needs to last, you know what I mean?

2:56If you're paying the premium, it needs

2:57to last. If you're spending 3K on a top.

3:00So, then there's like alternatives like

3:01this. This place called I don't know if

3:02you're Derek Rose. Yeah, I've heard of

3:04Derek So, they so they make pajamas.

3:06But, I start wearing the pajama t-shirts

3:08as like a regular t-shirt cuz they look

3:10exactly like the gift of kings. And like

3:12granted, I'll probably get maybe 10

3:14wears out of it and then I'd just throw

3:15them away.

3:17Which I know is a little wasteful, but

3:18But, you know when you just know it like

3:19it just doesn't

3:21It just doesn't Is that from also dry

3:23cleaning, you think, or No, I just I

3:25just think wear and tear. I just think

3:26wear and tear. Also, I don't take care

3:27of myself. These are items. Yeah. Like

3:28in a nice way, but also I'm not going to

3:30have no meaning to me. Yeah. Like I'm

3:31not going to like sit and like fold

3:33everything perfect and like try to like

3:35Oh, I can't get a stain on it or I can't

3:37scratch my watch. It's like I'm like

3:38that. I'm for sure like that. I'm like,

3:40"Ah, I don't want to stain my stuff. I

3:41don't want to scratch my watch." And

3:43then you get the first scratch and

3:44you're like, "All right, whatever." Now,

3:46it's it's old. It's used. It's all good.

3:48But, I tried to like maintain my stuff.

3:51So, I don't lose things. I lost a pair

3:53of like Louboutin sunglasses like a

3:55couple weeks ago and I was pissed. I was

3:56why did that happen? And I'm like having

3:58a crisis, you know? And I'm like, you

4:00know what? Let's go buy new ones.

4:01Whatever. I don't know if you know, but

4:02one of my businesses I'm in the eyewear

4:04business.

4:04Yeah, yeah. And that's one of the

Iman's Eyewear Business

4:05reasons like I love that business so

4:07much is cuz people lose their glasses

4:09all the time, bro. Might as well have a

4:10subscription for it. Yeah. No, honestly

4:12and if someone will like spill something

4:14on a $500 shirt, but they're not in a

4:16rush to go buy a new pair. Like they're

4:18like they're not bothered. Yeah. But if

4:20someone loses their $500 glasses, they

4:21go and buy it straight away. Like they

4:23can't live without it. It's like a part

4:25of it's like on your face, too. It's a

4:26part of your personality, you know? Are

4:28these from your brand or yeah? All

4:30right, let's check them out. What do you

4:31guys think?

4:33I can tell. Yeah, all the heads nodded.

4:34Yeah, sure. So, I noticed you you wear

4:36mostly chinos, trousers. I'm assuming

4:38you get them tailored. Do you wear jeans

4:40at all or no? Occasionally, I just have

4:42a larger legs, like a footballer's legs.

4:45You do? Yeah, okay. So, so jeans just

4:46never really fit that well on me.

4:48Nowadays, the good thing is like the

4:50relaxed trend makes it a little bit

4:51easier for guys that have thicker legs,

4:53you know, to fit into everything. Like

4:55these are pretty cool because they're

4:56more straight relaxed fit. I rarely wear

4:59jeans. This is actually like a rare

5:00sighting. There's a way to make it look

5:02classy, you know what I mean, right? You

5:03If you like have a top that's classy,

5:06belt, boots with this top and this

5:08jacket, I feel like it probably wouldn't

5:09be a match. I feel like you wouldn't

Picking Jeans

5:11really wear like light denim though.

5:13Probably dark.

5:14I don't really wear light colors in

5:15general, if I'm being honest. I kind of

5:17stick to my grays, navys, black. Maybe

5:19that's also just cuz like as time has

5:20gone on, I think especially in the last

5:226-12 months I'm like throw on something

5:23I know it's like acceptable and I'm I've

5:25actually started to put less and less

5:27effort into my outfits. Yeah. How do you

5:30plan your outfits when you're traveling

5:31to New York, for example? When I'm

5:33traveling in general, I'll just try to

5:35stick with like

5:37neutrals, basically. Cuz I'm like I

5:38can't go wrong. Whereas, you know,

5:40obviously back in Dubai or you know, in

5:42London where I've got like my full

5:43wardrobe,

5:44you know, you can be a little bit more

5:46funky with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah,

5:47cuz the worst thing is bringing an item

5:49while you're traveling and then you get

5:51like one wear out of it and then like it

5:52doesn't fit with anything else you're

5:54wearing.

5:54I plan my outfits on like a Google Doc.

5:57Really?

5:57I'm I'm extreme about it because like

5:59it's my job.

5:59Yes, you're line of work. So obviously

6:01like I know that I'm shooting, I'll be

6:02on camera, whatever, and people want to

6:04see my outfit. But I know that that's

6:06like that's going overboard for the

6:08majority of people. Random question, do

6:10you take a portable steamer with you

6:11everywhere you go? I don't.

6:12No? I don't, but I usually only stay at

6:15places that have a steamer with where I

6:16go. You know what I bring? I bring a a

6:18water bottle spray and I'll put like

6:20de-wrinkler into that water bottle spray

6:22and then I'll just use that.

6:23Usually like you spray that and you just

6:25kind of go like this, loosen the the

6:27fabric and you don't need to steam it.

6:28Really? Typically, yeah. Not every

6:30fabric, but the majority. Like linen for

6:32example,

6:33it's impossible to travel with, you

6:35know, cuz you just have to really iron

6:36it. Let's uh try some outfits on.

6:38Yeah, cool. So Imaan's changing right

6:39now and I actually was able to find him

1st Outfit

6:41an outfit that's really similar to the

6:43outfit that he came in with. So I think

6:45you guys are going to like this one

6:46because it literally is his style, but

6:49just way more affordable and it looks

6:51really great. All right, Imaan, let's

6:52see it.

6:55Okay. Now that's like an Imaan Gadzhi

6:57style. That's exactly what you came in

6:59with. Is this like the most affordable

7:00outfit you've ever worn in your life?

7:02That that that I I wear affordable

7:03stuff. No, this is this is perfect. 120

7:06for the polo,

7:08130 for the pants, 199 for the sneakers,

7:10so you're under 500 with all three

7:13items. So I think it looks really good,

7:15very much you. And the guys at home can

7:17copy this pretty easy. 450 for the whole

7:18shebang? Not bad. Not bad. All right, so

7:21we got the first fit under 500. I know

7:24you said you didn't like the fishnet.

7:26It's funny that you call it a fishnet.

7:27It's It's crochet, you know. It's not

7:29that.

7:30So I'm going to give you white pants

7:31with a belt Okay.

7:33and then the crochet polo. And it's a

7:35nice summer look, breezy, perfect for

7:36Dubai for example. All right. Tell me

7:38what you think. I'll give you the shoes.

7:40The shoes are not going to keep this

7:42under 500 bucks, so it'll only be these

7:44three pieces that under $500, but just

7:46to give you guys an idea of what you

7:47could wear with an outfit like this. So,

7:49he's in there right now and he's got

7:51this

7:52outfit that he's probably very

2nd Outfit

7:53uncomfortable in, but I think it's going

7:55to look good and it's definitely more of

7:56a casual outfit. I wouldn't say it's

7:58that Eman style, but slightly outside of

8:01his his comfort zone and I think it's

8:03going to look good. Eman, you ready?

8:04Yep. All right, let's see it.

8:08Okay. What What do you think, man? I

8:09mean, I I think it looks really good. I

8:11know it's outside of your comfort zone

8:13maybe, but like a nice like fruity

8:15country club outfit.

8:18That's That's kind of true. Do you wear

8:20white pants? Uh some It depends where I

8:21am. In Europe, yeah. But I think it fits

8:23you really well and the top, I know it's

8:25like outside of your comfort zone and

8:27you can see a little bit of your

8:28nipples. If you guys zoom in, Um just

8:30like yeah, yeah, just bring it right in.

8:32I actually own this shirt, but it's

8:34buttoned all the way down and I wear it

8:35out. I just can't take any flash

8:37photography in it because then it's like

8:39then you can really see it.

8:40Feel like I need um like a toothpick and

8:42pomade.

8:44Honestly, that would be And slick your

8:45hair back. Yeah, just with the pomade.

8:47Top is 159, pants are 199, and then the

8:50belt is 99. So, we're under 500 without

8:53the loafers, which is a great look if

8:55you guys are looking for something

8:56that's summer, spring, casual if you're

8:58comfortable with the crochet, of course.

9:01So, for this next outfit, I wanted to

9:02give him a little bit more layers on his

3rd Outfit

9:05outfit. So, we have a tank top, you have

9:07a cardigan, which he saw my cardigan

9:08earlier and he's like, "Maybe I'll try a

9:09cardigan." His is thinner, better for

9:12summer and spring, and then we have tan

9:14trousers as well with a really nice belt

9:16detail. So, it's a little bit more

9:19outside of his usual style since we

9:21already have one that's exactly like his

9:23style, one that's like way outside of

9:25his comfort zone. This one sits in

9:27between and I think it's going to look

9:28really good. It's very classy, easy to

9:30wear. Eman,

9:32you ready?

9:35All right. Yeah, everything fits really

9:36well, looks good. Earth tones. How do

9:39you feel in it? Yeah. Cozy. Flowy.

9:42Flowy, yeah, exactly. Comfortable. Good

9:44for spring, summer. Would you ever wear

9:46something like this or is this like too

9:47outside of your comfort zone?

9:48This works, to be honest. I think I'd

9:49probably go for a bit of a thicker

9:50cardigan. Thicker cardigan so it's not

9:52as as tight on you.

9:53Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Something more like

9:56Like this. Everything here besides the

9:57shoes comes out to about $450. I'll put

10:00the price on screen. But it looks good.

10:03Anyone can copy this. And I like that

10:05you mentioned that you would do a

10:06different cardigan because with the

10:07tank, you can just throw anything over

10:09it and honestly it looks good as that

10:11layer on top of it. If you had to wear

10:13this somewhere,

10:14tell me, where would you wear this to?

10:16Anywhere in Europe. In school.

10:17Europe. Yeah. Or or lunch in Dubai. All

10:19right. I expect an Instagram photo in

10:21this outfit having lunch in Dubai. There

10:23we go. I'll tag you in the story. Yeah,

10:25exactly. Bro, thanks for honestly being

Outro

10:28a trooper and just playing along and

10:29even trying the fishnet. I appreciate

10:32that, you know. I think it's like you

10:34see someone online and you really don't

10:36know what they're like, right? But when

10:37you meet them in person, I mean you're

10:38such a cool guy. Your team is awesome.

10:40So being able to meet you here in New

10:41York has been a pleasure. Yeah. I I

10:43appreciate you showing us around. Thank

10:45you, man. And you were so cool with just

10:46trying everything. So easy to get along

10:48with. This is the real Imaan Gadzhi

10:50here, everyone. Make sure to go check

10:51him out and his eyewear brand as well.

10:54I'm going to leave all of his channels

10:55below. I'm sure you guys have seen it

10:56already. Thank you guys for watching and

10:58I'll see you next time.
