• Don't use the site to violate YouTube's Terms of Service or any applicable law.

Content belongs to its creators

Video content, captions, titles, and thumbnails belong to their respective creators and rights holders. Transcripts are generated from caption data that YouTube makes publicly available. Using a transcript for personal reference or quotation is what the tool is for; republishing someone's transcript wholesale may require the creator's permission, and that responsibility is yours. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Transcripts reflect YouTube's caption data, which can contain errors, especially auto-generated captions, and the optional punctuation cleanup is automated and imperfect. Don't rely on a transcript as a verbatim legal record; check important quotes against the original video.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for the content of third-party videos and captions. The service is free; our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to use it (zero).
